  1. I found his presser and straightforward and honest as he tends to be for these. Heavily insinuates he was too hyped up, and needs to remind himself pregame to stay in the right mindset. He said the gameplan was good (I agree) and he tried to do too much when he didn’t need too. Said there are times in the past when he would take shots and they work, and it’s a double edge sword. He’s a rocket arm gunslinger with ADHD lol
  2. He’s still the man, still the franchise, still the GOAT. There is no question. Kid is in a rut, a bad one, but he will pull out of it. Dabs definitely had a special father/mentor roll with Allen that is absent and missed. He and Dorsey may have a fine relationship, but I doubt it was as deep.
  3. I don’t mind if Josh only throws for 225 and 1 TD, I just want to see sound decisions making overall.
  4. This single loss changed nothing, but I noticed a change in Josh last year that was concerning. He’s in a rut, a bad one. It’s fixable, he just hasn’t pulled out of it yet. Most players go through it. We’ve seen seasons where a guy has a down year. That said, I still 100% believe all our wildest dreams are still obtainable this year, and the biggest reason for that is still 17.
  5. Incorrect. From guys who actually watched and studied the All-22, Bernard surprised them. Instinctive and good in zone coverage. Struggled playing off blockers but he’s 220. Milano struggles with that as well. “Encouraged” is the word used to describe him from what I’ve heard. Bills want pass coverage LBers, Bernard fits the role well.
  6. Thing that worries me is this was an issue last year as well.
  7. I think (not to blame Dorsey) that he has an ultra aggressive OC, and his ego wants to prove he’s still GOAT Josh. Defensives have been feasting off his ago.
  8. Cam started to break down physically, Allen is having some mental regression which should be fixable.
  9. Yes, nearly immediately too. Seemed like 10 minutes after this thread went up.
  10. Not to mention, while yes the pressure came from RT and LG (PFF means grain of salt), Allen actually had a very low pressure rate.
  11. Thank you for posting that. 2nd half of the GB game is when everything changed.
  12. The 2nd INT, 3rd and 2 I think, Diggs was open short, would’ve been a 1st.
  13. If he didn’t say that, there should be a massive counter lawsuit coming.
  14. I saw McD and Diggs both tell him to play smart last night. He doesn’t need to be hero ball 24/7.
  15. Bernard had ups and downs, but I think he showed some promise at MLB.
  16. Rookie Josh was endearing and adorable, Prime Time Josh was exciting. Elite Josh was next level, God Mode Josh is the best in the game, But something happened the second half of the GB game last year, he hasn’t been the same guy ever since. The argument can be made that it’s actually since DaBoll left. I saw McD and Diggs both tell Josh play smart tonight. Hollywood Josh? Madden Josh? Arrogant Josh? I don’t like it. I don’t think there is ‘no reason to be concerned’ anymore in regards to his decision making.
  17. Alrighty my friends, see you on the other side!
  18. Wasn’t he pick 27? Not like we grabbed him at 10.
  19. No, week 1 has no impact on any narrative barring injury.
  20. So falling asleep at 7:45? Haha
  21. 35 going on 25 😉 Thank you for the advice, much appreciated!
  22. Honestly? Last year, a few hours before kickoff, my dad was in a serious car accident. I remember pacing back and forth in my parents living room, after my fiancé and I went over to feed their dogs. All I knew for sure is my mom rode in the ambulance with him, they had to use jaws of life to get him out, and she had said via text he was “ok,” but I also knew seriousness of situations tend to get down played. I was at their house for maybe an hour with the game on. It offered no comfort, no distraction, and no sense of normalcy. It was just background noise that I could force myself to focus on to pass the time. I’ve never re-watched that game, other than clips in other highlight/hype videos because I remember what I was feeling and thinking when the plays happened. It re-shaped my perspective more than Damar did, I am definitely more appreciative of everything overall and definitely just went with the flow last year. I feel that’s how my mindset is now. Everyone in my family healthy, my dad is good, I’m getting married next month, and my favorite team is really good and will be on TV the next 6+ months (and other things I can’t announce quite yet 😉). I’m super excited for this upcoming season, and want a SB quite badly, I’ve just also gained a new perspective and appreciation of the whole picture. A loss tonight doesn’t dictate the whole season, and the best team rarely wins the Super Bowl. Week One is also a sheite show.
  23. Nice to see Zay Jones carve out a nice NFL career.
  24. So this “Josh doesn’t watch enough film” narrative, which came from one guy with zero evidence, is still lingering?
