Rabbit hole time.
Bills trade Davis, who’s best used a deep threat, taking Sherfield off slot duty. Isabella active to add depth to inside and outside WR.
I think there is a good shot he will be, he’s only been gone a few weeks and was rostered so he’s in shape.
Jones honestly has been the biggest loss IMO
It sucks, but it makes sense. The healthy DTs in that game struggled badly, letting OL get to the LBers to neutralize them. Dodson is better at disengaging and is further along in the mental game.
It’s usage here. It isn’t that Davis and Knox aren’t role worthy players, we just have them in the wrong pecking order.
Diggs is 1, Davis 2, Injured Knox 3.
I needs to be Diggs, Kincaid, Davis/Cook/Healthy Knox.
Disagree, Bernard has been great and Williams has shown promise, Settle, Phillips, and Ford just cannot get it done in the middle at 1T (other than just spelling someone) which is causing major issues.
I think something needs to be clarified: Gabe Davis isn’t a #3 WR. That’s a slot our the backup to one of the outside guys. Gabe Davis is a field worthy player, and he’s good at being at the outside.
What Davis isn’t good with is being the 2nd read in the progression, especially since he’s better at long developing routes. If Kincaid can become that #2 target that should help with the offense’s effectiveness.
I still wouldn’t be mad if we had Shakir spell Davis either.
If the whole offense can’t execute, that’s on the guy who’s in charge of coordinating the offense. Mental mistakes and poor execution is a tell tale sign of a poor coach.
I would laugh so hard if Bills stupidly fired McDermott then hired another defensive minded HC.
Dump Dorsey, pay a top flight OC whatever they want.
It’s been 410+ days since Miami beat a team with a winning record.
You know that scene in the office where Dwight is conducting a speech and keeps banging the podium? That’s how this played out in my head.
Good thread!
Average doesn’t matter.
6.4 this year (mid-teens, sorry can’t recall the exact ranking)
14.4 next year (I think that’s 10 as of now, that’ll drop next free agency)
Then an opt out clause.
15.4m
15.9m
I know those numbers sound high, like “omg that’s top TE money.” It’s not, it’ll likely be top 10-14 TE money if he doesn’t restructure. I love Knox as Robin to Kincaid’s Batman.
