I hope that Beane stops listening to McDermott when drafting

You sure did skip over plenty of other drafting/signings from the last 5 years that don’t fit your narrative 👌🏻👌🏻 -
Von Miller faces arrest in domestic violence case in Dallas
TheyCallMeAndy replied to ArdmoreRyno's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just want to point out it’s never been confirmed WHO sent those texts. There are official, legal documents with the who/what/where/why/when of the original incident. Yes MA was released due to the massive distraction it was causing, some of it his own doing. He lied to the team regarding that night. Your opinion that it was fueled by anything else is just that. -

He also lied to the club which didn’t help his cause. -

Correct, to say McD ultimately meddles is ludicrous. He’s unpopular, so now he’s magically responsible for every single issue 🤦🏻 Agreed, and honestly we are coming off our best OL season in years, I want all 5 starters back. Maybe tack 1 more year on to Morse’s deal to spread the cap hit a little. -

And Torrance. Bills needed OL help more than they needed WR help. -

Just stop. There is no proof to this “McDictator ” nonsense that leads to his meddling being the root cause of every single issue. McD doesn’t have more or less say over the draft than Beane does, they’re a team along with the rest of the scouts. -
I think Dorsey had a to of option routes, something Dabs brought in year 2 or 3. WRs and QBs need to make the correct read at the same time. I’m sure there is more too it than that as well.
-
Yay another ‘our guy is worse than their guy’ thread. The Dorsey offense was notoriously difficult to pick up, especially for QBs. Kyle Allen has been a decent #2 in his career. With Brady making changes I’d be curious to see if Allen looks better next summer. Id resign him and let him fight it out with a rookie.

Sources say ZERO PERCENT chance McD is fired
TheyCallMeAndy replied to Brand J's topic in The Stadium Wall
If what Brady continues to show us how good of an OC he is, I fully expect him to be our HC in 2025 unless McD wins a SB in 2024. I agree, it’s worded like it’s trying to hide the fact it’s all speculation. -
It’s Chiefs week - and the season is on the line

Who are the officials for the game? That will play a serious role in the outcome, and I am not joking. -
I think Benford is a lock to replace Poyer at SS. I’m going to speak Elam at FS into existence lol Not to start, to compete. Taron Johnson to FS would extend his career and he would be elite.

Again, leave the whine tour for one of the other many, many threads. This thread is for flower giving to some player development than has gone under the radar this season. — Can we also talk about how everything Bobby Babich touches turns to absolute gold?

Von Miller faces arrest in domestic violence case in Dallas

He won’t be released until the NFL decides if they are going to suspend him. All reports they are dragging their feet on the Von situation. -
True, I just wonder if zone techniques and fundamentals for CB is different than for FS? Maybe? It’s a stretch I know.
-
For sure, I think we will have a pretty deep reset with older guys. I think our DL room is going to look crazy different next year. Only Groot, Ed, and King Johnathan are under contract. Technically and Von too, but we need to see how that plays out. DT ages well, I think Jones will be back.
-
Definitely, even if he isn’t a banger, he’s a consistent great tackler. He’s also better in coverage than Hamlin too. Hamlin may be more agile than Benford, though. I swear I saw Hamlin line up at NB, that is something I’d love to see more this summer.
-
He’s just grabby at CB and is currently playing with zero confidence. Outside 1 terrible game this season it’s not like he has a lengthy low-lite film. He has made some good plays in his career too. I think he deserves a shot this summer, what’s the worst that happens?
-
I kind of don’t honestly. He’s already 30 and isn’t viewed as an overly athletic CB. I can see him getting an extension to get him to 32, nothing beyond that. Hope I’m wrong!
-
I don’t think Hamlin is going from 15x inactive to our starting SS. Bills did him an amazing solid guaranteeing his contract and keeping him on roster to win COTY. I don’t think he’s back next year TBH, in the NFL in general. Benford has elite SS written all over him.
-
Benford I think is guaranteed, he’s replacing Poyer at SS. A low key guy I’d love to see get a shot at FS is Elam. I know his stats, 1 missed tackles in his last 8 games dating back to last year. What I don’t know is the film, if he shys away from contact or if he’s a willing tackler. My memory wants to say he’s willing. It would give us an elite athlete at Safety, something we’ve desperately needed this season. Just thoughts!
-
Can we talk about Spencer Brown’s improvement this year? If he can repeat (or improve upon) it next year, he’s definitely getting an extension. Who would have thought we would ever say that? Kromer has done a phenomenal job with this OL. Yea but not every single thread needs to be a whine tour. OP wrote a thread about some major positives from this year from a player development standpoint, nothing wrong with talking and celebrating them.
-
Honestly I think I agree with everything you said. I even believe next year’s starting safety duo is already on the roster.

38-0 Buffalo. McD carried off the field on the shoulders of his players.
