It’s Chiefs week - and the season is on the line

Lenny hasn’t done a thing in a few years lol -
I’m leaning forwards what you are saying, but I don’t think Dabs gets canned next year. They will likely have a first round pick rookie QB, the owner will give him at least a year or two to work with him. I think the path leads us to Joe Brady. He’s going to be an OC next year, be it with us or someone else. Coming out of his work with Joe Burrow, he was viewed as a future HC. Next year is Brady’s 3rd on staff, second (ish) as an OC. He will have a working relationship with every coach on the roster, worked directly with Allen, and won’t clean house. The hype and expectation bar for him as an OC is sky high, but if he matches it he can be our guy. I’d be willing to bet Pegs doesn’t want to let another DaBoll out of the building.

That is fair to say, as I have been a strong advocate to keep McD around for 2024. I made a super well received thread on it, which I totally didn’t delete. I know he likely needs to go, that we’ve likely peaked, and he has shown he’s isn’t reliable decision maker in do or die moments. My lone hesitation is like yours, the 2023 candidates for HC. Pickings are very thin. I fully believe, at the end of the day, it comes down on the HC. We fired 2 OCs, a DC, and probably soon to be 2 SPCs. This team will be best served with an offensive minded head coach, but I hate the idea of wiping this whole staff away. We have some gems.

This year has been rough, but he only had 4 in each of the last two previous seasons.

I know this will be taken as 100% factual information, but I struggle with unnamed sources. If someone got benched for fired, they won’t have favorable reviews of McD period because lack of accountability is a very common problem. Some of these stories just sound made up, opinions, or exaggerated. And for what it’s worth, my stance on McD has changed. I do think we will be best served with a new direction.

Doesn’t Knox isn’t a bad football player, if he’s healthy he has always been a positive to the asset to this offense. The previous 2 seasons he has been a 70%+ catch rate guy with 4 drops each season. Remember the thread asking where all the ‘wow’ catches had been? I have zero doubt Bills rework his deal to lower the cap hits the next two seasons, he absolutely should stay on this team.

Good post, good insight. At the least this is a toxic relationship and both should be getting the help they need, for the sake of their children. -

Neither should be getting many (if any) reps, DE should be a 50/56/57 show. These two definitely have a very toxic history and she has a history of making abuse claims and then releasing a statement claiming it was a misunderstanding. -

Giving him a vet rest day was suspicious, I really hope they allow him to “go focus on the investigation,” and take about 5+ weeks off. -

Posting this from the other Von thread: This is interesting. When Von’s GF released those texts in 2021, she released a statement saying “In light of recent media reports regarding my relationship with Von, I feel that I need to address a couple of things. First and foremost, at no point in our relationship was there any type of physical abuse or violence by Von, whatsoever. For anyone to say otherwise, or to speculate such, is wrong. “With regards to my social media posts, a part was misconstrued and taken out of context. I do regret making a private situation public, and in doing so, bringing unwanted attention to both Von and myself.” That isn’t drastically different from the text “she” sent to the news station. She leaked horrible… and I mean horrible, text messages from him and captioned them: “My heart goes out to any woman/ or man who is or has ever dealt with mental, physical, or verbal abuse. Praying death on me and mine was enough!!” **** both of them. Google the screenshots if you want to know what he said. -

Even if he’s somehow innocent in this, he’s still a trash human being. -
It also needs to be pointed out that no one has been able to confirm that she was the one who sent that text.

I respect him more for saying it 😂 Someone pissed him off! -
I’ll try to dig it up, I’m 99% Bean said in a press conference.
-
MA lied to the team about that night. That is why he was released. Bills owe him zero apologies.
-
I wrote a song called “The Situations are NOT the same,” would you like to hear it? You are also judging 2 situations from different points in the legal process. This is day 6(?) for Miller, Bills knew about MA situation for a while before he was released.

That was just GM talk. It’s not dramatic to say Von Miller has been a massive liability every time he’s been on the field this season. Poona Ford legitimately offers more than Miller does right now.
