Do you guys want a thread with statistics projections right now so we can see what kind of impact Brady has? Like Allen is on pace for 32 TDs and 19 picks. Should we track it so if he finishes with 14 we can be like “dang, huge drop in pick percentage rate” and we will have an idea of how effective Brady is?

Diggs and Kincaid have definitely been reads 1 and 2. I’d like to see them go to Cook as 3 more as well. And stop going pass, pass, pass, incompletion, run, run run, stuff, pass, pass, pass…

I do agree that little bro bro running his mouth is bad look. IMO the Diggs stuff was over blown, but he could have simply sent 1 Tweet that would have stopped a whole offseason of speculation. Lil Diggs is publicly running his mouth, if Big Diggs wants to stay here hope he nips it. We will see. Lil Diggs bashing Allen publicly isn’t a good look.

To be fair, when Allen was brilliant with DaBoll, there was no funkiness with Dorsey as the QB coach.

I mean like there is 6 threads of both. Here is how I see it: Dorsey was a good QB coach, Dabs made sure to really build a relationship with him (as evident with BD having him over for dinner Allen, weekly I think). Dabs was grooming Dorsey to take his spot, every single one of us knew it was going to happen. Allen gets Dabs promoted, Dorsey is his pick, it’s a no brainer. KD has never been an OC before. We asked him to come in and work a finely tuned machine that was the Bills offense. BD had been working on it for a long time through his career, and mastered it in Buffalo. Dorsey had to maintain the bar and expectations, and honestly he did things well. Statically, his offense had been awesome. Also head scratchingly (it’s a word) messy. Free agents would come in and not be able to learn it. Backup QBs would just scramble because they looked lost. Even Allen didn’t seem to know what he was doing. Complex is good, confusing is bad. Bills offensive players seemed confused, overthinking leads to lack of focus, leads to mistakes. Dorsey may have tried to be DaBoll and have some master offense, but it was an offense that even Dorsey himself hadn’t mastered because he hasn’t been developing it for many years.

Just because Dorsey got canned doesn’t mean no one else is very much on the hot seat!

It’s not going to magically change, he needs more than 6 days in season to put his fingerprints on this offense. Maybe we get lucky. My hope is for a more focused offense and better situational playcalling.

And their whole coaching staff. We’ve fired good assistants before when dumping a bad HC, not much to read into I think it’s nearly guaranteed that there are things that went on behind the scenes that we don’t know about that also played into this.
