  1. It truly cracks me up that Ragland is considered "overweight," "nonathletic," and "lazy" for zero reason at all. Last year a picture at some college game where he was at the coin flip made him look fat, and the whiners/bashers ran with it and he's been complained about ever since. At the combine, his "hand held" 40 time was 4.62, while the "electronic" 40 time was 4.72, Either is plenty fast for a MLB.
  2. That's an absolute load of crap. Fun fact, he never actually failed a drug test. Immature idiot, sure, but quitter? Absolutely not.
  3. Funny thing is he ran a 4.78, that's pretty slow for a WLB
  4. Shaq a great addition, hope the fans haven't written him off. I think 8 sacks and a handful of tackles for loss is fair. Dude was a dominant college DE who Rex put at OLB. His first sack was on Tom Brady. Healthy, scheme that fits him, position that he's dominate at, and real NFL coaches.
  5. I always laugh when fans think a player can't excell in multiple schemes. Goodness, how many has Dareus been a beast in? All of them? Shaq Lawson will be a great 43 LE, like how he was projected coming out of college. Ragland is athletic and will be fine as a MIKE or, if need be, a SAM. Hell, he can probably play WILL in a pintch. These are professional athletes on our Defense who now have decent coaches. Brandon Spikes could probably find a small role to be successful in (34 OLB wasn't one, how crazy...)
  6. Thing about Byrd is he was never considered overly athetic in terms of speed and agility, and today's NFL is built around speed. If he has lost a step, he may go unsigned into the season.
  7. Kid had 2 picks, 2 sacks, 3 stuffs, and 7 pass breakups this past season. No doubts he wins the #1 FS gig. Makes me think of Da'Norris Searcy. Ok when it comes to pass coverage, just don't let him go 1-on-1 with a WR. Will be a benefit in the run game. Boston has superior athleticism than Searcy, giving him more potential and a higher ceiling.
  8. He's 205 pounds, known as more of a physical guy. You wonder if he can gain 10-15 pounds and be that hybrid SS/WLB.
  9. #3/#4 guy on the depth chart, nice post draft signing
  10. It'll probably be Humber vs a 5th round pick vs a June 1st cut. We still got time, we've filled 3 monster holes thus far and still have 3 more draft picks (5th, 5th, 6th) No question, I thought for sure he'd start at SAM. He shows monster flashes of being an instinctual player who's great vs the run. He understand pass coverage and positioning, just lacks the athleticism. We've got top notch LB coaches now, if they can't get more out of PB then we've probably seen his best play. Interesting, Rags is also MUCH better vs the run than Kiko.
  11. Thomas, Lattimore, and Howard will likely be top-10 and off the board when we pick. If this is true, Corey Davis at 10 is very, very likely.
  12. I'd be fine with a 6'3'' 210 pound WR with 4.48 speed.
  13. Preston Brown will probably replace Zo at SAM eventually, I think PB would make a real good SLB in this system
  14. One 'new' thing that OBD has been doing the last few years is bringing back alumni and legends to help 'lead the charge' out of the tunnel. What 8 former players would you guys like to see this year? Doug Flutie is #1 on my list.
  15. See: Clay, Charles Also very, very true. What's he supposed to say?
  16. Can he cover? You can have all the speed and agility in the world, but if you can't cover it doesn't mean much.
  17. I hope this kid went to rehab or something. THAT SAID there is no way this article is accurate, provides nothing that comes close to a source and it's some no name website.
  18. Kojo at LT and Glenn at RT would probably net the best OL but I don't see it happening. Vlad vs Groy vs Miller vs Henderson will be a good watch
  19. I doubt he's being offered that much money. I think the fact he's visited Oak, Indy, Miami, and now returned to Buffalo is a good sign.
  20. Jamal Womble, who claims to be friends with Brown and former college teammate, said Brown is in Buffalo tonight but in no rush to sign anywhere and has more visits lined up. He says Oakland still in the running, but contract offered was "disrespectful". Miami the front runner
