  1. The scouting reports made it seem like he didn't have a strong leg, perhaps in these videos the trajectory is low and they'd be blocked easy?
  2. The weed must be good tonight!!
  3. Unless the offseason get shortened, otherwise I agree
  4. That was, if this kid runs a 4.75 or even 4.85, he's round 1. What interesting is he plays next to the fast and quick Ed Oliver, he may help Ed feast.
  5. David Nelson vibes!! Tall but looks like hes 185, not 210 lol
  6. I think the displeasure/concern is he isn't super althetic and timed pretty poorly across the board.
  7. Link to his 'proday' Feel like he's going to be a fan favorite FB...
  8. That's were the fun starts. With 4.45 speed and coverage skills of a former DB, you could use your base defense to create confusion. Or they mix and match when Taron enters the game.
  9. This player would basically be a starting LB and is faster/quicker that 49/58. It could allow us to be in our "base" defense and still cover 3 wide. Or put this player on a TE.
  10. Nickel back and Big nickel are technically 2 different roles/positions. Taron Johnson is the man!
  11. He's great depth though!!
  12. Another guy we've talked to is Austin Hall of Memphis. Terrific athlete, 6 foot 220 pounds. He likely will be a 7th or UDFA.
  13. Agreed, but they are few and far between. In theory, this player will have better coverage skills and more agile than even Edmunds. The sacrifice would likely be getting off blocks, but Matt Milano does fine.
  14. I think the main difference is elite agility and explosiveness. These guys are probably better in coverage. Also hard to nab truly elite LB outside the first half of round 1.
  15. Right, a rookie buffalo nickle basically sends Klien and Neal to the bench (eventually)
  16. Defense. A WR is the 4th guy for at least 2 more years. A RB is possible what that basically says "take a seat" to Singletary.
  17. It started with Mark Barron and that dude the Jags have, it's just been a slow evolution
  18. I think people are misinterpreting what the position would be, or I am. The consensus is a situational role player subbing in for the NC. That is what Neal and some of other Safetys did. They are 190-200 pounds and are larger than our normal Nickle corner. What this "Buffalo Nickle" is, a big former Safety (215-220 pounds, none of our current Safetys are over 200lbs) who are very fast, very strong, very physical, very agile. They are new age LBs who lack the traditional pounds, but are elite athletes. These Buffalo Backers can stay in a base defense when opponents go 3 wide, or cover these crazy TEs. This isn't a gimic situational player, but a new age defensive weapon. We could see 2 by the time Sunday rolls around.
  19. Speed of a DB but size of a LB (Dugger is 5 pounds lighter than Milano). More I think about it, more I want Dugger or Chinn at 54 to complete the defense. This isn't a "third safety" or "big nickle corner" or some mini-LB gimic, this is a new age defensive weapon that could thrive in McDs defense. Go get Dugger or Chinn!
  20. As a former BBMBer, this thread is awesome. Did the board ever crash here?
  21. Just a moron pushing an agenda. Allen put some passes on the money this year. Pro football reference counted 36 dropped passes in total. Insane. Knox had 10, Cole 5, Brown 4, Singletary 6. Just to name a few.
  22. You could make this video for every single QB in the NFL. Brady had plenty, and I mean plenty, of "bad throws" this year. He didn't have 30 dropped passes either.
  23. I read that in Buddy Nix's voice
  24. I really liked Rosen and Rudolph too Yes Ragland, that was weird I totally pulled a blank. Not a good sign when you're only 31 ?
