  1. No. Edmunds fairs pretty well against the run. Not elite, not great, but solid. What I’m saying is if allowing 75% completions ‘sucks’ for a LB, the the overwhelming majority of NFL Linebackers suck. Target Bobby Wagner 10 times in coverage, you’ll complete 8. In this defense at that position, expect a similar ‘stat line’ and hope he can ‘quarterback’ the defense as well as Edmunds does.
  2. I guess what I’m saying is most LBs struggle with the things Edmunds has struggled with. Switch him out with Bobby Wagner, the defense likely looks the same.
  3. 17 represents love/peace or sin/evil? Sounds perfect then.
  4. That’s fine, the coaches don’t seem to 🤷🏻‍♂️ Most NFL LBs aren’t good in coverage. Edmunds is on par with everyone else. He’d just be swapped out with someone slower, weaker, smaller, and older.
  5. Just wait until it adds Fitzpatrick.
  6. Here’s a fun exercise. Go to Pro Football Reference, search up names of top LBs this year. Go to advanced game logs for 2021, note it has how many times a LB was targeted in coverage, what the completions and percentage were. Go look at all the LBs you’d rather have over Edmunds. Look at their missed tackle percentage. Now go look up Edmunds. His numbers are rock solid. Completion percentage against him is respectable, and his targets are low. Read that again, go double check the numbers. His targets are low. They should be sky high, triple digits. QBs don’t challenge him much. Why? Why? Because he’s steady and consistent. He defends a respectable amount of passes (this was actually his worst statistical year in coverage) and he misses a low percentage of tackles. I think I understand what the coaches absolutely love about this kid. He’s a great leader, great field communicator, and he’s consistently steady (even though fans want splashy). Fun side note, after go check Matt Milano’s numbers. Dude is an elite coverage LB which also plays into why Edmunds doesn’t always pass the eye test.
  7. That’s not a bad nickname “May I present the King maker, drought breaker, defender of the north and conquer of the East. Josh Allen of Buffalo, first in his name.”
  8. My brother summed it up best, he said Dabs gameplan each week was to “Hope Allen is amazing.”
  9. To be clear, Joe Brady isn’t Tom Brady with a fake mustache, right?
  10. Gronk could probably help Knox with some TE stuff. Knox could probably help Gronk spell. It’s a win-win
  11. Most anticipate Tierney to follow Dabs to NYG. Dabs brought him in from Alabama.
  12. Still… and I don’t know how this operates normally… but is it normal to hire someone while they are still in the interviewing process? We know they interviewed Dabs and Frazier, they need 2 for RR I believe. Definitely smells like BS and glad Flores is sticking it to the NFL.
  13. That’s what people can’t seem to figure out… Flores doesn’t deserve to be bashed, I hope this brings REAL change.
  14. Because they picked him before they even gave Flores a chance
  15. Ed Oliver could be an interesting watch, he legitimately had a few snaps (and a sack) from DE. Oliver - Groot Boogie - AJE Not bad DE depth chart… He’s also a beast at DT.
  16. I learned the other day Fitz has never appeared in a playoff game. The divisional round loss became more clear. This team needs to punch a SB ticket (and win) when their backup QB is Fitzmagic. #Fitzmagic2022
  17. Now who do we hire at QB coach 👀
  18. Doubt they’ll need to, the term ‘redskin’ is derogatory. Chief is not.
  19. I’ll take whoever Allen wants.
  20. Ughhhhh he definitely was not, very good the first 2 years, offense took a nose five year 3 but Rogers was injured
  21. 2 very good OC seasons, 3rd season was down but Rogers was injured most the year. Not sure why he was fired after that 3rd year
  22. We’re birthday buddies, hire him
  23. 100% agree. McDs OCs hires thus far have been underwhelming. Hopefully they don’t cheap out on Dorsey.
  24. Ehhhh I think all those guys will get paid pretty well. Bills currently only have just under 10 million in cap space. A few key releases and restructure could put them in the low 20s but they’ll be hard pressed to get higher than that. Remember, anyone they cut you have to replace. Can you ink a WR coming off 82 catches for 6.5 million? Probably not. Can you find a solid/good OG like Williams, a guy who plays all 4 OL spots at the drop of a hat, for cheaper than the 7 he’ll make next year? Again, probably not. The FAs Id like to see are our own. Get Harrison Phillips, Ryan Bates, Levi Wallace under contract.
