  1. I think the biggest issue with Epenesa is missed tackles. The guy legitimately should have had 3 sacks yesterday, yet here is he on Monday with goose eggs in every category. Pressure and QB hits is great if your combining them with TFL and Sacks, otherwise they just look like participation trophies. How many times have we seen a DE apply great pressure or even contact the QB to just see him not finish the play and the QB throw a completion? Epenesa had a good game, but should have had a great game. All the same, the future looks very bright with him and Groot.
  2. I think Obada is still a good player too, very solid ‘4th DE’ although he’s on a one year deal.
  3. Epensea is frustrating as hell, make the damn tackle. That’s some Jerry Hughes BS. That said, I’m pumped about the two of them, I though Groot looked REALLY GOOD. Seems like they are splitting snaps with each other, as are Hughes and Addison.
  4. They will be good confidence boosters, although I have tons of respect for Tyrod and what he can do. WFT’s backup QB seems to be a high-level backup QB
  5. I also saw it too, I think his passing game issues are temporary and Dorsey is the next OC for the team.
  6. Or they can figure out what the issue is and help him work through it?
  7. Allen has averaged about 5-6 yards per attempt so far this season, the game-plan has clearly been short-throws (and run game) focused and unfortunately he’s missed several attempts when he goes mid-deep passes. Allen is a rhythm thrower and dunk and dunk game-plan hasn’t let him get into his gun-slinger groove because it’s not his game.
  8. I still think this is more game planning around short passes and a focus on the running game, something that was key in why we lost the AFC title game. Allen is only around 5-6 yards per pass attempt so far, the struggles are weird but to this point I’m not real worried. We don’t want to be clicking on all cylinders in September.
  9. Hmmm 👀 Could this change be playing into Allen’s struggles? I thought for sure that Dorsey would be key to Allen stating at an elite level.
  10. He’s definitely off and any criticism is fair. I thought for sure Dorsey would be what kept him in the MVP race, but maybe our new Passing Game Coordinator is having some issues??
  11. Notice how TEs and RBs didn’t do much in the pass game? Edmunds got a game ball for a reason. Hey, I know people who peaked in Highschool, I suppose it’s possible 😂
  12. Josh Allen needs 33 passing yards to reach 10,000 for his career
  13. That’s a bit misleading, as every old guy I can think of is a 2022 FA. Bills’ core is very young.
  14. I feel the long term gameplan for the OL is Spencer Brown development into a good RT, allowing the Bills to slide D. Williams to RG. If Spencer Brown turns into a very good or elite LT, then Dawkins slides to G or moves to RT.
  15. I tested positive yesterday, while I’m not 100% sold on the vax, I’m thankful I got it. I feel like this would be a different monster otherwise. So far everyone else in my family has tested negative. So far (day 3) I just have mild symptoms, and I’m so incredibly thankful for that.
  16. I don’t know, after their week one performance I’m not a fan of any of this.
  17. Miss opportunities were the name of the game, the offense had several as well. I haven’t seen them have that many drops in a number of years. Learn, grow, and fight on.
  18. It also helps when Mahommes can just toss it in the air and Hill will make an adjustment, catch, then take it in for a TD.
  19. I think they wanted to give him 1 more week to recover?
  20. That exact same line was decent to good in pass protection last year. Dawkins doesn’t look anywhere near 100% yet. I think the staff would love is Spencer Brown had a lightbulb moment and it let them move Williams to RG (not likely to happen in 2021).
  21. Week 1 is the true ‘wildcard weekend,’ so much crazy stuff happens. And those games vs Jets were filled with penalties, sloppiness, and stupid TOs.
  22. No silver lining, but important lessons to be learned so I agree with the OP. The boys were brought back down to earth.
