  1. Did a fan post this exact thing yesterday siting an inside source?
  2. If Shanahan can get a HC job after blowing the 28-3 lead in the SB, Frazier will be fine.
  3. He’s playing 4D connect four when we are all playing bilateral shoots and ladders.
  4. Cutting Bease (6), Star (1.5), Klein (5.1), and Mongo (3.4) opens up 15.9 million. Williams and Morse are good, I wouldn’t cut either of them. Perhaps Poyer and Hyde will restructure to help the team out.
  5. Ankou, Webb, and Williams a bit of a surprise
  6. Oh? I thought he was a FA!!
  7. I’m surprised they didn’t sign that Punter they had on the squad to a FC as Hawk is a FA. …and Shaq Lawson
  8. This year he took a step back in coverage, but overall in his career he’s been …ok… in coverage. He still seems green in “if, then” situations. I thought he was much improved vs the run this year (looked bulkier too), he hit way harder. He didn’t miss many tackles. He obviously sets the defense pretty well. Blitzing he was pretty ineffective unless it was outside. McD likely rolls with the 23 year old athletic freak for 2 more seasons. All of his issues he can overcome with film study and coaching, that’s the crazy thing. I feel a DE switch is a stretch and they effectively only play 2 LBs so “move outside” isn’t really a thing. If he was 26, 27, 28 I’d feel different, but he’s legitimately 23. Strong enough to be an elite run defender, athletic enough to be an elite pass defender, just hasn’t ‘put it together’ yet 4 years into his career.
  9. Maybe, he had a much more consistent year last season and had no real offers other than vet minimum with us
  10. Idk if 178 receiving yards is worth 4 million a year when we are so limited in cap space.
  11. Outside 2nd NE game, which did he have a big impact for the offense? Including the playoffs, his best days were 3 catches for 45 yards and 2 catches for 10. Rushing? Best day was 2 for 17 in regular season. He ran 3 times in both post season games for 15 and 29 yards. His best case for a respectable payday is KR/PR money, he won’t make much on the WR/RB market.
  12. Yes, but they won’t go crazy when it’s 1 game imo.
  13. I think Knox is a huge part in why Bills could move on from Bease/Dirty. Team could realistically draft a slot WR in round 3.
  14. Right, he’s a solid but limited slot WR who has benefitted from the Josh Allen Effect
  15. DB coach comes to mind first, Bulter I believe. Pretty sure he’s a former DC. Agreed, McD doesn’t want to micromanage the O and D, he wants to trust his coordinators. They let him down. Good.
  16. Ehh, history points to when McD is controlling the defense, they play very well. He’s had to pull power from Frazier several times over the years.
  17. He’s an elite QB coach who’s gotten 2 different QBs to play at an MVP level. He was the passing game coordinator this year, Allen broke the Reg/Postseason TD record. If he isn’t our OC, he’ll be someone else’s in 2022.
  18. It also has to be a scheme fit. Love Jimmy but I’m not sure he can teach the McDefense. A promote from within might make the most sense. Something to consider with Frazier, things weren’t peaches and cream until last night. Sean has had to pull DC play calling and power from Frazier several times over the years to get things back on track. The defense underperformed significantly last year and looked average vs experienced QBs this year.
  19. For reference, after Atlanta blew a 28-3 lead in the SB, their OC still got a HC job.
  20. Ehhh, it may or may not. He’ll definitely test the open market for sure like last year, but I don’t feel like his value at WR has increased. If he was unhappy with last years offers, this years won’t be any better.
  21. I can still see Frazier getting a job in Chicago or Oakland.
  22. He did have one play where he rushed Mahommes and he showed off his speed, outside that though… At least a Lorenzo Alexander type role. I’d be interested in seeing him at DE, but there’s more to it than being tall and fast. He’s a very ineffective blitzer thus far. Was Hughes a LB in college?
