  1. Not expecting any Bills to win any of these, unfortunately
  2. Yep totally in offseason mode for sure! My life is all coaching changes and cap space!
  3. Not caring what other teams do helps me, in my mind football season is over. I’m on to the off-season now.
  4. They need to dump the game and make it all skills competition.
  5. I think this is the most likely. They’ll approach him about a restructuring to free up some cap. Diggs, Davis, Bease is still a very good WR core.
  6. Everyone is bashing you, but yes I think they’ve “peaked” with their current OC and DC. Late adjustments, inconsistent play calling, not evolving. Dabs year 1 - Couldn’t run the ball, OL communication issues, offense success relied on QB heroics. Frazier year 1 - Defense relied on elite secondary to disguise looks, DL production was poor, weakness of the defense was a physical opposing offense. This defense never shed the ‘soft’ label. What has changed?
  7. Who would have thought in 201-whatever that our OC, who only had the job because he was buds with Marrone, would someday be a NFL HC. Good for him!
  8. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/matt-haack-22270/ Opt out clause in his 3 year deal, 700k dead cap. The cheer from the crowd after 3 straight shanks was still one of the funnier things I’ve ever seen.
  9. Did a fan post this exact thing yesterday siting an inside source?
  10. If Shanahan can get a HC job after blowing the 28-3 lead in the SB, Frazier will be fine.
  11. He’s playing 4D connect four when we are all playing bilateral shoots and ladders.
  12. Cutting Bease (6), Star (1.5), Klein (5.1), and Mongo (3.4) opens up 15.9 million. Williams and Morse are good, I wouldn’t cut either of them. Perhaps Poyer and Hyde will restructure to help the team out.
  13. I’m surprised they didn’t sign that Punter they had on the squad to a FC as Hawk is a FA. …and Shaq Lawson
  14. This year he took a step back in coverage, but overall in his career he’s been …ok… in coverage. He still seems green in “if, then” situations. I thought he was much improved vs the run this year (looked bulkier too), he hit way harder. He didn’t miss many tackles. He obviously sets the defense pretty well. Blitzing he was pretty ineffective unless it was outside. McD likely rolls with the 23 year old athletic freak for 2 more seasons. All of his issues he can overcome with film study and coaching, that’s the crazy thing. I feel a DE switch is a stretch and they effectively only play 2 LBs so “move outside” isn’t really a thing. If he was 26, 27, 28 I’d feel different, but he’s legitimately 23. Strong enough to be an elite run defender, athletic enough to be an elite pass defender, just hasn’t ‘put it together’ yet 4 years into his career.
  15. Maybe, he had a much more consistent year last season and had no real offers other than vet minimum with us
  16. Idk if 178 receiving yards is worth 4 million a year when we are so limited in cap space.
  17. Outside 2nd NE game, which did he have a big impact for the offense? Including the playoffs, his best days were 3 catches for 45 yards and 2 catches for 10. Rushing? Best day was 2 for 17 in regular season. He ran 3 times in both post season games for 15 and 29 yards. His best case for a respectable payday is KR/PR money, he won’t make much on the WR/RB market.
  18. I think Knox is a huge part in why Bills could move on from Bease/Dirty. Team could realistically draft a slot WR in round 3.
  19. Right, he’s a solid but limited slot WR who has benefitted from the Josh Allen Effect
