Same, if memory serves me correct it was heavily rumored Bills were trying to trade up in R2 to take their RB (or maybe back into R1?) but they could not. I fully expect Bills to address DB in R1 then try and move up in the 2nd to nab their RB. He very, very likely isn’t playing this season.

Thing that scares me about Jami is his ACL. If he goes from a highly agile 4.28 guy to a decently agile 4.40 guy because of his knee, that’s not what you traded up for. Teams won’t know how his knee is until next year’s training camp, possibly longer since it takes some guys longer to mentally heal from an ACL. Jamison could slip in the draft.

I remember stuff like this last year, who the Bills ultimately passed on, but loads of rumors they tried to trade back in to take the RB but failed?

A designed pass play where the ball is completed behind the line of scrimmage to John Brown with pulling blockers in front of him is less of a ‘Smoke Screen’ than most of these rumors lol

Reported visits have very little correlation with who gets drafted. The only player of the 30 visited players the last 2 years who were actually drafted by the team is just Jack Anderson (of the players that were leaked/reported)

On paper a SAM or LB, although on paper I think the team loves Dodson and Jackson.

Bates and Brown are solid players with deep potential, Bills are paying Bates starter money. Q is definitely the guy if either regresses.

AJ Bouye is out there still too, but I fully expect us to run with Dane and a rookie CB.

Haden is 33 and coming off the worst statistical season of his career where he still missed 6 games. QBs posted a 100+ QB rating going against him and missed tackles were a big issue.

Yes, but the crowd reaction when Haack FINNALLY ended his 3 kick shank streak was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. I agree with this, and going by comments McD has made in the past about wanting a guy who can consistently hit it 40 over a guy who can occasionally hit it 80, it wouldn’t shock me.

All I take away from this, is the GOAT sees Allen as one of the top 4 QBs.

I don’t think it’s worst case, I think it’s most likely. Bills struggled badly vs power run teams, even with AJ Klein in the lineup. I imagine they would want to use a base 3 LBs more vs these teams. They have 3 run first teams in the division, and seem to play Baltimore, Indy, and Tennessee every year. Then if they can’t agree on a long term deal with Edmunds, or he doesn’t take the next step this year, boom his replacement is already on the roster. I’d take a round 2 LB who will get meaningful snaps over a 4th string WR, backup RB, 3rd string TE, or 4th OG. The developmental guy will get poached off the practice squad and either the vet or rookie sits behind Dane Jackson.
