I agree, the gameplan to keep Waddle and Hill on the sideline was very good, but the TOP killed Buffalo in the long run. At the end of the day, Bills missed 2 TDs and a FG and lost by two.

I was surprised he wasn’t on the field over the UB UDFA. Perhaps he was the backup safety?

Bates with a head injury

Lack of DTs hurt, Bills only touched Tua twice. TWICE. I think we only knocked down a few passes too. The only tackles for loss today where the two sacks. We lost Benford the had a UDFA in Waddle, enough said. Enjoy it Miami.

I think Bills gameplan of keeping the ball away from Waddle/Hill cost them because they were exhausted.

Just found out it was over 110 on the field. Their game-plan of keeping Hill and Waddle on the sideline betrayed them.

This is the first NE loss last year. Took 35 injuries and 100 degree heat to do it today, congrats Miami, we will see you again.

Allow me to take a positive spin on all this. Hyde is out for the season, that sucks. He and Poyer are 31 and Bills need to find out eventually what they have behind them. We’ve all heard good things about Johnson and Hamlin, now we will know how high safety is going to be on the need list this year. As for the injuries, other than one (maybe two) the rest are all short term. Bills are a stacked team, I can’t help but wonder if these might be painful blessings in disguise. Why do I say that? The injuries may keep this team from peaking too early, and now our depth has much needed experience.

I think ball control will be the name of the game, those are two dangerous WRs and a very, very, very young DB core. Miami is weakest in the middle of the defense, attack that with quick passes. Dolphins have a deceptively good DL.

All summer we’ve heard raving about the depth. Starting SS, FS, both starting CBs, both 3T, and potentially our backup 1T are all out. We are about to find out. No excuses, this is for 1st place.
