McKenzie has better numbers than Hodges, why would Hodges start over him? It’s easy to B word and whine that player X that used to be a Bill should’ve got an opportunity, but the truth is Hodgins did NOTHING to earn it. He sat behind better players until he went to NYG and their decimated WR core. Let’s see what he can do it year two before we crown him better than Gabe Davis. He may not even be a starter there next year.

Here is what I think: McD is better than Dabs and Davis is better than Hodgins until proven otherwise, and they are a long way away from proving anything. Because he couldn’t beat out Davis for the flank, McKenzie for the slot, or Kumerow for the SP Ace.

He would’ve come here with a rookie defensive HC, Rick Dennison at OC, laughable offensive weapons, and very likely a day one starter. I think it’s very, very, very plausible he doesn’t develop into the level of player he is today considering the offense didn’t start to explode until Dabs was in year 2 and we finally added some offensive weapons. That would be year 3 for Mahommes.

The only appropriate response to this is tweeting T. Diggs to come to Buffalo.

He wouldn’t have been that guy here.

Tremaine would be 31 after a 7 year contract. THIRTY ONE If 2022 was his floor, you sign him long term. He hasn’t peaked yet.

I mean COULD Bernard be looked at SS?

Something to keep in mind: Knox, Diggs, Singletary, Cook and even McKenzie all posted above a 70% of targets caught this year. We’ve seen the dominant force he can be, I hope he puts it all together this summer.

There are a lot, and I mean a LOT, if variables you straight up over looked in that little math equation. Agreed, that 41% thing is laughable. Gabe struggled with tight coverage this years, often DBs could be more physical than him. He CAN improve on this year, that also needs to be said too, but his issues were present last year as well.

There is absolutely something that can be done, Gabe has all the physical tools in the world. His issues seem mental to me. If Gabe can get 10% more completions and shave off a few drops, he’ll get a second contract. He needs to put in the work this summer and get his head on right.

Let’s hope it clicks. He’ll be on the roster and the inside track at winning the #2, but I imagine we will see another vet WR.

The person who needs to find out why it didn’t happen is Gabe Davis.

I think I’m all in on Tyler Huntley, he’s looked good in spot duty and is a great athlete as well.

Give me a Wish-Josh Allen. Big, athletic, big arm, needs accuracy work.
