Rhodes and Poyer need to be the starters moving forward

With McKenzie, Knox, and Davis not living up to their expectations, this has went from “that’d be nice” to “it needs to happen.”

I did not know Davis has a 54% career catch rate and is sitting at 47% this year. That’s really, really, really bad.

Meh. It’s said all the time DTs in this system don’t get numbers, they just chew up blocks. Sometimes it looks like they don’t even attempt a tackle, they literally just chew up a blocker. His stats suggest he definitely isn’t make any impact plays. I’m just not sure if it’s an Ed Oliver thing, but I have a hard time believing MLB and DT just isn’t ‘impact positions’ in our defense.

I think it’s defensive adjustments to options routes. Perhaps defenses are confusing Allen and his Wideouts, making each other read different things. Top that with Davis going through a case of the drops.
