I think they got tired of us bashing the team. We were just coming off of being really good, then decent and that's when the wheels started to fall off. As I recall we weren't happy about it. We didn't even know what was to come for many years ahead
I get what you are saying and I don't know if Diggs fell off or he wasn't party of the offense by design seeing that they traded him the very next off-season. My point is you replaced Gabe with Palmer and went down the line but there was no Diggs replacement. I'd argue that even in 2023 he's better than anyone on the current roster. I also agree that Josh benefited by not having him pressuring him for the ball all game
I have a question. In this post you replaced everyone with someone on the roster and I agree with most of it. The only person you didn't/couldn't replace is Diggs. Isn't that a huge loss when comparing the 2 seasons?
I think it said over his career not 1 season that would be crazy. They may have been exaggerating but I remember it being either in the 30s or 40s due to him running the wrong route.
