I was in error on my comment in another thread.  PUP is only 4 weeks mandatory to start the season for Von not 6.

I still think Von should take September off.

I'm with the play it safe crowd as well. But BBB did say this

One person who is not ruling out a return for Miller is Brandon Beane. Buffalo’s general manager recently told NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero that there’s “definitely a possibility” that Miller will be ready to play against the Jets in Week 1. This came days after the general manager referred to the pass-rusher as a “genetic freak.”

What about Tyrell Shavers? He is the UDFA that we signed to a 3 year deal. I haven't heard his name much, but supposedly he is an elite gunner, and many felt when we signed him, that he was a lock for the 53.

Carson Wentz is out there... He would be good for a few wins in season in needed.

I posted an update of him as well. It says he's been quietly building on a nice TC so far

How many 2nd team edge players get 9 sacks in a season? That seems a tad unreasonable. If you're basing his season success solely on sacks (say that out loud 3times), 6.5 for a backup edge player is actually quite good.

I agree. But I'm hoping he's playing so well he gets more time on the field.  Sorry I didn't really elaborate on that.

Oliver is on the field. It’s just that you don’t notice him.

I’m not getting tricked again with the Epenesa “dailed in” at training camp fluff. I still get excited about him…don’t know why.

I'm with you on this. I need to see him do it on the field. If he can get to 9 sacks after getting 6.5 last year. That would be encouraging
