Hate ever rooting for the Pats but...
Curt replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What about the Pats losing tonight, losing next week in Pittsburgh and losing against us during week 16? We would enter week 17 with still a shot at the division. -
Only 3 games left to the season. We are in an exciting hunt for a playoffs spot. We are not even mathematically eliminated for the first place in our division. Last home game of the season against a divisional opponent and tickets for Sunday are $13????? Are you kidding me? People love December football. Yeah right. And we have a thread making fun of the fans in Los Angeles.

Do you remember the first football game you went too?
Curt replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm from Canada so my first football games were the CFL Montreal Alouettes at Olympic Stadium in the early 80's. First live NFL game was Green Bay at Chicago in October 1990. -
The Bills have a huge huge problem. They didn't raise the price of their tickets for a little while now. Their average price is way below the rest of the league. My Bills tickets are $59 and my Seahawks tickets (who are not as good as my Bills tickets) are $96. There is no way that the Bills will increase their prices for 2018 and despite all that Bills tickets are currently selling for only 10% of their face value (Already very low). All that with a month left in the season and the team only 1 game behind in the playoffs hunt. It doesn't look good. For now it's the owner's problem but I hope that it will not become the fans' problem.....

Why don't the bills get more Monday night games?
Curt replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just a correction, the Bills don't have a win on MNF since 1999 not 2007. -
Now that the game is out of reach it's time for Taylor to start throwing the ball in order to pad his stats.

I'll be there with 3 friends.

Best and Worst Travel Experiences
Curt replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been to Buffalo, New England, Miami, Houston, Tennessee, Jacksonville, San Diego (in 2 weeks I'm going to LA), Cincinnati, Oakland, Dallas, Philadelphia, Chicago, New Orleans, Seattle, Arizona and LA Rams. Each place is different and I have fond memories from every single trip. The only place where we had problems with the opponent fans was in Miami. -
I went in 2009. First game after they fired Jauron. TO had a 99 yard touchdown reception. The Bills led the entire game but lost in the last minute of the game. Lot of Bills fans, lot of empty seats but we were in minority.
-
Yes, I went to Jacksonville. Crowd was quiet.
-
Yes but unfortunately the opponents were not the Bills so I attended the game as a neutral fan. Not the same thing I have to admit.
-
I went to 16 different NFL stadiums (Jets are not 1 of them) and the only place where the fans were really @#$%^ was in Miami. By the way I had zero trouble in 2 games in Oakland.

I'm honest. I had little faith. I'm glad they proved me wrong. Now I am worry about the Poyer injury and our pass defense. Carr will have a heck of a day next week I'm afraid.
-
Go get him. He's only 28 (Will be 29 for next season). The question is what the Colts will ask in exchange. I always liked him.

Kyle Orton on the Wall of Fame...yes or no?
Curt replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I liked Orton A LOT while he was in Buffalo and was really disappointed when he decided to call it a day. I do believe that we would have made the playoffs if he had played the 16 games in 2014 but you just can't put a player on the wall of fame after only 12 games with the team. He was excellent even though he missed the whole training camp and didn't play at all during preseason but my answer is no. -
What you want to see Sunday vs the Falcons
Curt replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1- Taylor throwing the ball downfield. Less conservative offense playbook, 2- Good defense again like usual. 3- Discipline. No dump penalties. 4- Good game by Shady after 2 consecutive poor performances. -
It took me 2 years + 2 games but I'm done too with him. He's afraid to throw downfield and he's checking down way too much. He's not a bad but a mediocre QB. The Bills will go nowhere with him.

Just got my tickets for Bills game in Atlanta
Curt replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks but I am really stupid with that kind of stuff. I have an Android and I have no clue what a QR code means. -
Just got my tickets for Bills game in Atlanta
Curt replied to buffaloboyinATL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I bought a ticket for the Bills game in Los Angeles against the Chargers. I just found out that's a mobile ticket. They don't have print at home tickets. The "delivery" will be only on the Saturday on the eve of the game so instead of enjoying the LA beaches and the scenery on Saturday I will spend my time on my freaking phone (I am a real dummy with technology) to try to figure it out how I can download my ticket on my phone screen so it can be scanned. I am missing the good old days sometimes..... -
They are doing their very best, they are willing to spend money, they truly want to bring a Stanley cup and a Super Bowl title to Buffalo but they are clearly over their heads.

Why do we need to hire rookie Gms?

[Please Change Title]Anybody pissed off
Curt replied to Helpmenow's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am. For me, some of Beane's moves don't make any sense at all. If he was an experienced successful NFL GM I would fully trust him but I am afraid that he has no clue of what he's doing. Don't tell me that we can't get anything for Williams. -
I voted Taylor but I am not happy at all with his performance in the preseason games. I just think that Peterman is not ready and Yates is awful.
