  1. Doesn't this happen every year? Phillip Rivers, who was drafted 14 years ago, said that teams intentionally try to get under your skin to see how you react to "adversity". They inquired about Guice's mom hooking, ffs.
  2. And more and more of it disappears by the day. I know it hurts.
  3. Nah. A certain group is just resistant to losing some of their privilege.
  4. He was the "safest" guy in that draft. Never did I envision it unfolding the way it did.
  5. Exactly. If it isn't at least a 2nd in a draft day trade scenario for a QB, keep him.
  6. Translation: "I have every intent to do both."
  7. Yup. The 9ers should also be the favorites to land Allen Robinson. Pair he and Jimmy together for years to come. I'm hopeful for Buffalo's future, but also jealous of SF's situation.
  8. He should reunite with Reid in KC. He'd also be a good fit in GB.
  9. My belief is that almost any QB can be successful. A lot depends on the coaching staff to put said QB in the right system while developing him along the way. Andy Reid is the best in the business at this, in my opinion. McNabb, AJ Feely, Kolb, Vick, Foles, Alex Smith...he just plain gets the best out of his QBs. I'd trust Jackson with him and only him. Other than that scenario, I'll believe Lamar can hack it when I see it.
  10. Lamar's legend grows on this board and gets more and more ridiculous with each passing day. Keep Jackson in the pocket, run a zone and render him useless. These delusions of him being this prolific passer from the pocket are just that - delusions. He is going to struggle mightily against NFL caliber defenses.
  11. Ivory is exactly what the Bills need behind McCoy. Very good signing.
  12. In an offensive friendly system, he amassed 39 rec. 593yds. He's a bit overrated by Bills fans. The potential is there for sure, but we all know what potential means.
  13. I'll believe that when me **** turns purple and smells like rainbow *sherbet.
  14. I don't know about you guys, but when I think of a high character Beane/McDermott guy, I think Baker Mayfield.
  15. Didn't realize these LBs were so small. They look bigger than they are on the field. Well...I know what the next trend will be in the NFL and the Cowboys have a leg up on everyone.
  16. The story is great and the kid has a lot of heart, but his size is concerning. A 6'2" 227lb linebacker?
  17. If it makes you feel any better, I dislike Jackson and Mayfield equally. I think they'll both be lackluster NFL players. If it isn't Rosen, Darnold or Allen, I hope Beane passes on a QB in round 1.
  18. I'm sorry, I must have missed where there were swiriling concerns about Rosen's accuracy...ever!
  19. Vick is a more accurate comparison. Phenomenal athlete, live arm, but wildly inaccurate several times per game. He displayed, today, the same inconsistent accuracy that he's shown throughout his college career. The deep ball that landed 3 yards, "in the dirt", behind the receiver on a go route was telling.
  20. Lamar Jackson is not Cam Newton, nor is he Deshaun Watson.
  21. The tendencies of this regime. Jackson's limitations as a passer are evident and if I can see them, I know damn well Beane and McDermott can. They yanked Tyrod for 5th round rookie in an attempt to move on from that style of QB play. They aren't going to jump out of the frying pan and into the fire. I am sure of it.
