As opposed to the ZERO you have started about anything else? The one having trouble here is you trying to pretend you are something you're clearly not, and nobody is gullable enough to see it any other way.
-
He's more of an athlete trying to play the position than a mobile QB IMO. I think he has great skills and physical talent, but he seems to lack the awareness and mental aspect of the position. Not saying he's not smart, but there are just certain things that QB's need to have a sense of and feel for when you are in that position, and I haven't seen much of that.
-
Oh, but you are wrong. Transplant has started numerous threads here talking up Tyrod, and started 19 other threads on Taylor over on the other board...so he's not just defending...he's out crusading and pushing an agenda. You have it the other way around...myself and others hear enough praise for a guy who hasn't shown to be good enough, so we provide some much needed discussion and opinion that counters this pro Tyrod opinion...simple as that. And one last thing...it's silly to say I hate Taylor. I don't hold feelings like that for football players, or persons who I do not know FTR. I don't like him as a QB and I do not see him as the right guy to get this team where it needs to go...this is what you need to understand. So you ask him to give you names of QB's to fit your criteria, and then once he does you add more qualifiers and dismiss him doing exactly what you asked of him? What a joke
-
Call it whatever you wish. I call it being realistic...unlike many fans who blindly believe he's something more than what he's shown, and that's just wishful thinking on their part. I don't begrudge them, and if a miracle happens...that's awesome. I tend to go off of what I've seen, and what history tells me though, and it says this guy is what he is at this point. Posters here claim they only view him as a decent player who isn't the guy, but they defend him vigorously, and many still talk as if he can get better and be the guy...again, just false hope and optimism. Have at it with you're "crusade", and I'll carry on with mine. I suppose that's part of what this board is for.
-
Oh, really? Pretty sure that the word on Taylor outside of Buffalo is that he's just another guy...a placeholder until we draft the next guy who we all hope can become the guy. It's pretty tough to find any big media guys claiming Tyrod is good. It's more like ok, or pretty good...that's about it.

Tannehill down non contact injury
Crusher replied to CommonCents's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Doesn't even matter. Tannehill is not very good, and Moore is not much of a downgrade. -
So basically they are trying to improve on passing altogether? Lol
-
Agreed. I can't imagine how nuclear this poster would go once an actual game starts and someone lands awkwardly.
-
Ding, ding, ding! Bullseye. And none of those guys had the same limitations as Tyrod when throwing the football. I do not believe Tyrod has the chance to become anything more than somewhere between the 2015/2016 Taylor, and that's not good enough.
-
Nonsense. McCoy was a stud with a proven track record before he arrived here. To suggest a scrambling QB opens things up more as opposed to a QB that can get defenders out of the box and away from the line of scrimmage due to concerns about him picking you apart downfield is ridiculous. This offense would be much more potent and dangerous, as well as better in crunch time if we had a better passer of the football.
-
Sorry, but the type of offense you run and what the QB is asked to do means a whole lot. Nobody will question who is better after this season...it will be that obvious.
-
Wentz will show you just how far ahead he is in regards to TT this season...not even a question. I find it hilarious that this is even a thing.
-
Is it really ridiculous when team's don't respect the pass? Do you think there's no correlation between his failure to win close games and his lack of passing ability? I of course know how you will respond to this, but many others can see how passing ability is more valuable than a QB scramble. It's a shame how you disregard all other thoughts if they don't align with your own. You know what they say about a closed mind...

Benoit has a long record of breaking down the game and years of football watching on Fahey...a self admitted rookie while Benoit is an established, credible veteran with a proven track record. And yet here you are claiming he's wrong and you're guy is right. How come nobody is surprised?
-
Actually, he sounds much more accurate and knowledgeable than Fahey and others, and in comparison to what I've just read in the post above, he's a genius. The funny thing here is that the Tyrod guys jump all over a guy who has good things to say about Taylor, and they lambast and try to discredit the ones that don't. Benoit is on point with alot of his stuff, and in regards to Taylor, he seems spot on. Especially the stuff you won't find on the stat sheet. Tyrod's game looks better in analytics than on the field.
-
Problem is that you can play it safe and keep it close, but that means you need to pull it out in crunch time, and we all know Taylor has failed miserably in these situations.
-
How do you believe he can improve? Hard to see strides being made with the known limitations in making reads and anticipation, as well as avoiding certain parts of the field. I honestly see no possible way he can improve. He can maybe be more effective for a time in a gadget style offense, but that is not sustainable, and it also could increase the chance for injury.

Could Ragland be surprise cut of 2017?
Crusher replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Not a chance. This guy is a player, and he will show it. -
And this is one of Transplants guys that he used to help support his Tyrod argument basically telling you he lacks major passing ability. He obviously can't make reads well, and he fails to anticipate receivers as well as use certain portions of the field. This guy is so limited, it's pathetic. Moving on from him is inevitable. Have you ever seen it before? He didn't have that permission within the offense because he hasn't shown the ability to read the defense and exploit weaknesses. Of course we will hear the usual excuses such as it was Roman's offense and other nonsense, but all the signs point to a limited QB that while possessing great talent, he doesn't possess the QB awareness and intellect at that position. There is literally nothing that disproves this. All the way back to college his issues were making reads and processing the field. The same rings true going into season number seven in the pro's. Expect limited passing with some flash mixed in due to his great physical talent. There will be no significant jump in play, and he can only really go down or maintain average play. Neither is good enough, and it's only a matter of time before he becomes a high end backup. That's where his value lies IMO.
-
No less pointless than any other post in this thread...including you're own.
-
Lol at the excuses and just flat out delusional statements I've been subjected to reading. Sophomore slump?!?! Grocery baggers as WR's? A top ten offense that he was less responsible for than nearly every other QB in the league? Hyperbole and delusion is what the CoT is selling, and only a fool would buy such propaganda. Stick to statements closer to reality if you still want to discuss this expired topic some more, even though I suggest other wise. It's just all around ugly for everyone involved at this point.
-
Just more willful ignorance and excuse making for TT. It's always something...coaches, receivers, the line, not enough experience starting...it never ends.
-
Blaming Rex for the way Tyrod played is extreme speculation and reeks of excuse making. I suspect this type of stuff will continue until the Bills finally cut bait, which hopefully comes after this season if he doesn't perform at the level he needs to. Two years of data says he's likely not going to be much more than what he has shown. And I did compare Kelly and Tyrods first two season's I'm the NFL...zero production vs average production. Kelly wins. Taylor is on year SEVEN in the league
-
The same could be said about the QB and the Seattle or Miami game.
-
Coming from a poster who is clearly way more obsessed over an average at best QB... I find this hilarious.
