Jordan Matthews is just another guy. I can't believe people are seriously using such sorry excuses now. Is there no end to this madness?

Boldin said he came here to win a championship.

So not only has father time appeared to catch up with Boldin, but so has dementia. -
Playing a not to lose style of football is bad to begin with, but when you combine it with a team that is one of the most limited passing wise, and a QB that struggles late in games...trying to hang around or keep it close becomes a horrible choice. I will only be able to endure one season of that in order to get that franchise QB.

It's early yet, but it does look like those who claimed that Dennison and TT were a perfect fit were very wrong. Whenever I have seen TT at his best, it was when he was freelancing...playing sandlot style ball and running around. I don't trust anything this guy does under center. I believe Roman had the right idea and system for him. Rex picked TT because of that very reason.

FTR...I liked it, too. It's just that this is football, and you need a franchise QB. You don't just magically get one handed to you either...you have to stink and get a top pick. My idea of tanking isn't to play to lose, but to move on from players that aren't future pieces and giving young guys a shot instead to see what they have...you can accomplish tanking while going out and trying to win. FYI - I was just having some fun. You called posters losers...lighten up. No harm done

You really liked it when mommy read you "the little engine that could", didn't you?

Any scenario that ends with the Bills getting the QB they want in next year's draft would be a good thing. This season was always a throw away to me once McDermott was brought on. A new offense, defense, bridge QB, and then the Watkins trade to go along with the draft day trades and focus on the 2018 draft. McDermott and Beane can experiment and get a better idea of what they have and what they need to do moving forward this season knowing it won't be held against them while helping themselves for the future at the same time.

You are letting these silly notions that you have convinced yourself of rob you of you're happiness for Peterman? Holy crap, dude...hit the reset button on your brain, stop with the menstrual cycle stuff, and talk football without thinking about anything other than that. I can help you help yourself, but It won't be easy if you can't let go
-
You don't lose on purpose...you try to win and coach hard, but you get rid of the guys that don't fit the plan longterm and give young guys an opportunity. Aquire draft picks and see what guys are made of when facing superior talent. Losing guarantees you a shot at solving the biggest and most difficult problem team's have, and that's finding a guy that can change the course of your franchise. Only a franchise QB will give you a chance against anyone. You can argue the Colts and Cleveland, but Luck gives them a shot when healthy, and that team was built horribly around him...no defense at all. Cleveland is just awful at drafting. They at least keep trying...no sense in spinning your wheels with a 7-9 record like Bang said.

Say what you will, but Peterman as a rookie looks way ahead of TT in the quick reads and finding guys with the football department. This should be very troublinjg to those who have high hopes for Taylor this season, but it should also encourage everyone about Peterman. If nothing else...this guy may be a better passing version of a game manager, and better passing holds more value than a lesser passer with more mobility.

Agree 1000%

They're going to have to invest some of that 2018 draft capital into the Oline...that's what has to happen.
-
Edelman missed a huge part of the 2015 season, and Gronk can't stay on the field...what are you talking about? And Brady had a poor line that season also but still made it to the title game against Denver...that's why they brought back their old Oline coach that retired the year before. Here...i'll do it for him. Over 4500 yards and 30 TD's and 15-14 as a starter. With a better defense, the Bills wouuld have made the playoffs. How'd I do?
-
Tom Brady has had all those things also...all Qb's face these issues to some degree at some point. Brady adjusts and gets rid of the ball quicker or finds a weakness to exploit...whatever it takes to pull it out. Excuses, excuses, excuses...
-
Now you're starting to get it...

This team is in a rebuild...what are you trying to win? I want to win the best QB in the 2018 draft because that will lead to real success, not another 7-9 8-8 garbage that you and others here eat up like good little boys. I support the QB. I went to the game with my Bills gear and did my thing regardless. That doesn't mean I can't hold the opinion that TT is not a good QB and that I want to move on sooner rather than later so we can start truly contending faster. This is what you and others may never understand. I feel like I should be able to speak freely here with my fellow Bills fans, but apparently I must not be overly critical or too blunt about certain things or I'm evil. It's cool...I have been trying to lay off this subject, but the games get me going.
-
Nobody called to replace him yet, but if things keep progressing the way it seems...it may just very well happen at some point this season.
-
Or TT couldn't read the field and get rid of the ball like Peterman did. And Peterman had backup lineman for some time as well, so let's call that one a draw.
-
The only time TT has looked good has been with Sammy Watkins on the field. And all those TT fanboys know it because it was their go to excuse when he wasn't on the field and he stunk. I can't tell you how many times they posted the numbers with and without Sammy Watkins. I can guarantee you at some point this season they will revert back and blame not having Sammy as an excuse again.
-
He has made a living on these boards with false statements and accusations. This is why I've sworn him off
-
Posters that don't criticize the Bills and the players receive more leniency than those that do...otherwise you should have been for conduct you have displayed on both boards. More excuses for TT...how predictable. Now please stop. I promised myself to not stoop this low anymore
-
He's also a guy who looked way more comfortable and poised in the pocket and delivering passes on target and on time.
-
The line looked worse when TT was playing. Wonder why?
-
It wasn't a legit ban...I broke no rules. They were just trying to calm the TT back and forths that were getting out of hand. It's not like you making up lies about posters and refusing to apologize when it's proven that you were wrong.
