  1. I said it in the game day thread, this team just refuses to hand the ball off. Refuses to just line James Cook up in the backfield and give him the ball. Constantly talking about putting RB’s in the slot, putting 2 of them in the backfield at the same time, and we’ve seen none of that, and never will. Why would I as a Bills fan be excited about Nyheim Hines playing slot WR? A small, limited catch radius player? We already have a faster version of that in McKenzie and he’s completely ineffective. These delusional thoughts about how to manufacture touches instead of just getting these backs carries. This team still can’t get 1-yard when they need it. Been a problem for 3-years now. And so Josh will shoulder that load too and take it on himself to run even more. We called 8 runs in the 2nd half. The first play of the 2nd half was a 9-yard run by Singletary called back for a hold. So 7 runs the entire second half. Shakir, 1 catch 6 yards on no playing time again.
  2. He didn’t leak right away, he chips, and never really runs to the flat. By that point Allen is already in his throwing motion. The play design was horrendous. Also the Vikings have two players at the 10 yard line to Singletary’s side. He doesn’t get much more than 5 yards there.
  3. Can we stop with the phantom concussion statements? He had 400 yards of total offense again. Yes he’s out there seeing double with migraines and didn’t tell anyone. It’s just ridiculous. According to Schopp he should carry the ball even more in the Red Zone. Why even run one time?
  4. Frazier and McDermott left Jackson and Benford on an island all game long. The 4th-18 was 13 seconds all over again. EVERYONE watching that game knew where that ball was going to go. Any double team? Nope. We just want to win. That angst is building up. One day at a time Count, one hour at a time.
  5. Nobody has any clue as to what this coaching staff wants to do at running back. All you get are hollow McDermott answers about running it better, and Dorsey just gives you some canned “game flow” answer to everything. This a good point. He’s an alright pass catching RB. Like JD McKissic, there is nothing to get excited about. He’ll catch 0-3 passes a game for 0-20 yards. That’s what he is. And on this team, he’ll never see a traditional carry. He wasn’t that great in Indy. He’s always been an ok player.
  6. Well you lose this gut wrenching games and it starts to take a toll. McDermott’s tone doesn’t help.
  7. No idea. 2nd-2 and we got zero yards the next three plays. And the kicker is Josh converted a 3rd-15 and a 3rd-16 and we got nothing on this drive.
  8. Could have really used 40-seconds of clock run off late in that game… But the run has no value according to Jeremy White, Howard Simon, Mike Schopp.
  9. Yeah that whole night was a lot lower energy than I would have expected. We called 8 run plays in the second half and the first one was on the Bills first possession and was a 9-yard run negated by a hold. So 7 called run plays in a game you’re up two scores for most of it, coming off a first half where you looked great with it. But no, Josh with an injured elbow is your leading rusher again, nice to see.
  10. The route concept was idiotic. When you look at the end zone, there are three Bills receivers standing a total of 15 yards apart. They all ran to the same spot. What were you trying to do there and why was Quintin Morris on the field?
  11. What were the safe options? Frame by frame look at that again. McKenzie is blanketed immediately in that route. Singletary chips, and releases late. Josh could have waited and dumped, I agree, but there are two Vikings standing at the first down marker, he may have gotten 5 yards. Otherwise Josh needed to throw it out of the back of the end zone.
  12. But…..not if he wants total control of players, draft, and he is calling the plays too, and wants $20M a year.
  13. We called (8) run plays in the second half. The first play of the second half was a run by Singletary for 9-yards, negated by a hold. 4 of the remaining 7 the Bills were stuffed for 0-1 yards. I hated that Duke Johnson run. Awareness is terrible. 3 of the remaining 7 the Bills got 5-8 yards. Cook had one for 7, and one for 8. For sure, the steady passing game moved the ball in larger chunks, but this team abandons the run, even when up multiple scores.
  14. It would get very old. He is a joyless chore to listen to.
  15. You're going to get the usual responses: do you need a hug? do you need a tissue? don't let the door hit you on the way out, see you next week. But I understand that we are constantly left feeling like Charlie Brown. The rug, constantly pulled out. A once in a generation QB, and of course there is a better QB in Kansas City at the same time and beating him is like trying to beat Jordan.
  16. Think McDermott's I know it all, I've done it all, I've been there before, 100% extreme serious attitude is starting to wear thin?
  17. Anyone watching that game knew really bad things can happen that close to the goal line. I don't like any kind of run play there because the other team knows exactly what you're trying to do and it's just to easy to get run stuffed back into the end zone. It puts more pressure on Allen, but the Bills have had success throwing there (Chiefs, Steelers) and it would have drained more clock. Only risk is, any holding in the end zone is called a safety.
  18. They can't cover Diggs, we know that. But can we really stop Chubb and Hunt? And if this game is tight going into the 4th, we know the Bills will clam up. I'd say 50/50. Another rash of defensive injuries again this past Sunday. According to Howard and Jeremy this morning, McKenzie was wide open in the flat..... (even though he was completely blanketed from the snap)..........
  19. Just called Howard and Jeremy. Why bother? They talk about how McKenzie is wide open in the flat. Say what I’m saying isn’t true. Freeze frame it guys, McKenzie is completely covered. He had 0 separation. The only other option Josh had was he would have had to wait until the last second to lob to Singletary because chips and releases extremely late.
  20. These guys are 6th and 7th Rounders and undrafted players.
  21. I rewatched that final play, that’s 60% coaching, 40% Allen. The design was horrible, everyone in the end zone. The TIGHT formation (needless to say I hate that) to start the play, there was a pocket, but Allen had no space to get out of there, Singletary is not an option because he leaks out so late, McKenzie had no separation. The only play would have been for Allen to throw that ball away.
  22. Who feels real confident with Nick Chubb coming to town? Should be ok against a 3-7 Browns team with Jacoby Brissett, but unless the Bills are up 21 in the 4th you can’t trust this team. You take the chance man. Jefferson has 180 on you. You leave Thielen one on one. How are you not treating Jefferson like a gunner on 4th-18?????????????? This is KC with 13 seconds left again and again. Everyone in the world watching that play knew where the ball was going. Everyone but our coaches. Free release off the line, a moon ball by Kirk and our 7th Round draft pick on an island as the ball comes down. It’s insane.
  23. “We can’t run the ball” That’s the mantra right? Everyone in the stadium, everyone watching at home, knew the Vikings had one freaking player that could beat them. One guy. Kirk Cousins literally was turtling and throwing blindly down the field. Maybe a true double team??????????????????????
