  1. I have no issue with that. We all know that rule. Watching on TV and this All-22 Analysis line up. There is nowhere for Allen to go when throwing in Goal to Go situations. Guys are covered, the spacing stinks, plays take too long to develop, and there are no underneath throws to make. So this all goes back on Allen to always make the right decision, or run more. Plus, the coaching staff is now too good for FGs and instead goes for it when already up multiple scores.
  2. Too many players running in the same direction, ending up in similar spots. The field gets smushed on roll outs because the sideline becomes a defender. Allen doesn't have anywhere to go on a lot of these. There is nothing easy. So we're going to do the Mike Schopp method of just run Josh Allen every play goal to go.
  3. This is brutal on the Bills. Two games in 3 days.
  4. But SoCal, we are the Bills, we "aren't good" at running, and besides, Josh can always do more.
  5. And yet Shakir sees the field now <10 snaps per game? 1. You won't get a concise, open-ended question to Dorsey from our media about this because they are always too concerned about how everyone is feeling. 2. McDermott will never address anything football related in a straight forward manner. So that leaves you with a glacial pace of change with the Bills on personnel usage.
  6. This isn’t shocking. The spacing in the Red Zone is horrible. You have players running the same routes, ending up in the same area. So Allen just takes it on himself to run more. The other thing I see is there is never a dump off option in the flat. All or nothing routes with guys deep in the end zone.
  7. I think it's McDermott's general demeanor. He is like Doug Marrone in this way. He knows it all, he's seen everything before, he's done it all, and he comes off as no nonsense and strict. By all accounts the team is close, Von Miller talked about how the Bills are unlike any team he's been around. So it comes down to winning, and 13-seconds probably put a crack in the foundation. And losses like Sunday just get people grumbling.
  8. Might be the end of Kumerow. His ankle has been a chronic problem this year.
  9. I really only see at Bengals as a possibility. Bengals beat them twice last year and will have Ja'Marr Chase back. That's it.
  10. Plus Dorsey said exactly that in his Monday press conference - double post. No he wouldn’t have. There is a Minnesota LB about 10 yards off, and another corner 4 yards behind him. Singletary gets 5-6 yards there.
  11. Go dance with Kirk on the plane. Enjoy the win. You’re stuck with Kirk Cousins come Playoff time.
  12. What the heck does a 3rd-7 mean to the Bills? Allen converted on back to back 3-15, 3-16’s. Oh no, it’s 2nd-9, let’s get it to 3rd-manageable. That’s Jauron, that’s Marrone.
  13. I just don’t like the spacing there. It was a bad ball, came out late, was behind Gabe and low. But that’s a high degree of difficulty we’re asking for there, nothing easy about that throw. Not one throw there was easy yards except waiting for Singletary to dump off, and he gets tackled after a 5-yard gain
  14. It’s a bad ball by Josh, behind Gabe. Just not an easy throw there, but higher and to Josh’s left it may have squeaked in there. Morris just adds confusion to that route IMO.
  15. But we all can agree, there’s nothing easy about that throw to any of those WRs in the end zone. There is nothing obviously wide open short of the end zone. Singletary is the only dump off option and like we’ve said, he’s late. McKenzie to Josh’s left is completely blanketed. Thats where I still say, play design or the actual route run was poor, because there just wasn’t any space to get a ball in there easily. Throwing to the other side of the linebacker as Quintin Morris clears is possible, but not easy. Gabe, the ball would have to be much higher and centered. And I don’t what Diggs was doing on the left hand side enough to see if he was open. Josh forced a bad design.
  16. T Still the play design is not good. Look at how hard of a throw that is. That window is microscopic trying to get that in there. OC has to design some better ways to get guys open. That end zone is crowded and there is no space.
  17. Two guys right in front of him….. I just don’t know what video you’re watching. I’ve acknowledged that he could have held the defenders with his eyes, waited for Singletary to get further out and dumped to him. McKenzie was completely blanketed on the out route. I don’t have All-22 of what is happening in the end zone, but the still shots show no room to get that ball in. But to say Josh had options underneath, I just don’t see anything other than Singletary.
  18. But freeze frame it. Singletary is not a receiver at the beginning of the snap, he releases late . True, Josh could have held that ball longer (pocket was good), waited for Singletary to get a few steps further out, but Singletary did not run into the open field at the beginning of that play. The whole thing took too long, and again McKenzie has ZERO separation. The other thing that is apparent to me is there is no spacing in the end zone. You got 3 Bills standing 10-12 yards total apart from each other.
  19. Horrible play design. Dorsey said yesterday something like if it’s not there check it down. There was nobody to check down to. McKenzie was completely covered from the snap, and Singletary releases late so Josh would have had to hold the ball a bit longer, and dump to him, that’s hard to do with how long it took Singletary to get moving forward. Allen’s only option would have been throw out the back of the end zone. The Bills ended up with 3 players all standing 3 yards into the endzone about 12 yards from each other total. For the people posting screen shots, Allen would have had to have otherworldly anticipation to squeeze that ball to Davis for the 1 second he popped open.
  20. According to Dorsey we started to “hit the screen there” and called our best plays on 3rd and 4th down. But because we went pass on 2nd down, the decision was made to pass, pass on 3rd and 4th. To your point, you don’t see creativity with this team. 18% usage of play action according to WGR, no motion, no Shakir, we run once to McKenzie and never use it again. Watch the 2020 Bills highlights and you see all sorts of creative plays. That stuff is gone. Nothing in the middle of the field ever. It’s all precision sideline throws outside the numbers or Allen making something happen running out of the pocket. Look at how complicated Dorsey made that to pick up 2-yards.
  21. 7 RBs, all with one carry each per game, except Hines, he’s a decoy.
