  1. I agree, I think Phillips gives the DLine unique size that we generally don’t have going back to the Kyle Williams years. And I agree, the postgame shows have not talked about it all. Good thing is there were 6-days until the first practice next week from Thursday night. Banged up Bills always gives you the scorched earth possibility of rotator cuffs and broken collar bones. Hopefully it is a shoulder sprain, and he’s back out there. I assume McDermott talks to the media again Monday?
  2. He rolled an ankle in a walkthrough before Week 2. It’s now Week 13. What kind of ankle sprain keeps you out 1-week, but hangs around the next 11 weeks?
  3. If it looks bad they react to the crowd and call it. Simple as that. Hamlin did his job and separated the WR from the ball with the shoulder. Oh well.
  4. OMG, please give it up with this. He played concussed for for 4 1/2 games and not one Bills representative noticed anything and had him put into protocol? Logically, does that make any sense?
  5. https://sports.yahoo.com/bills-jordan-phillips-says-fine-152211327.html Hoping this is true.
  6. Josh is in Year 5 and Tony Gonzalez can't wait to ask him about sliding and getting out of bounds. And Josh said there has been plenty of talk about that. I just don't ever want our Coaches to take away his aggressiveness in the run or the pass. I don't want McDermott constantly in his ear to slide, or take the check-down. One of the other posters here had a chart where it showed QBs aggressiveness by expected yards gained verses turnover worthy plays, and Allen was virtually alone in the aggressive category. You want him there, not checking down, all game. We've asked our OC to get more people besides Diggs to get involved and help. Last night it was McKenzie again, and sticking with the run. Allen has 3 TDs if not for a Tommy Sweeney hold.
  7. This was the key in my eyes. Just sticking with the run even if you were only getting 3-4 yards. But your other point is key too. Cook not getting just 3-5 token carries. He got the ball the same amount as Singletary. You have this game, Cleveland and Tennessee, which show what Cook can do with 10+ carries. At some point a big run will happen.
  8. Credit to the fans who notice announcers and their styles. I don’t generally notice them at all unless they obsess over a player over and over.
  9. Howard is on speed this morning. Now educating you on how (3) wins in 12-days is all that matters. When the tone yesterday was fear of the Patriots.
  10. I’ve said it all year. Cook is fine, just get him the ball. Singletary is 4.5 ypc and steady as they come. WGR pushes the don’t ever run narrative. Bills possessed the ball forever tonight.
  11. He made one play tonight, and at least we saw the return of misdirection motion presnap. He was doing that a ton.
  12. From the Patriots perspective I would question why they seemingly gave up in the second half? They weren’t even trying to score out there, just dumping off to Stevenson. Punting down 3 scores.
  13. I just don’t understand why the Bills can’t seem to run anything for him over the middle of the field. Nothing ever comes to him in stride. He’s used as a dump-off option on the sidelines.
  14. I’m sure our hard hitting media will be on it after the game. Nah check that, instead let’s ask what it means to have Josh Allen on the team.
  15. WGR doesn’t want to hear it, but see 19 minutes of possession? The run game is working and the Bills need to keep hammering Cook and Singletary in that order.
  16. Dorsey was doing well until the 4 minute mark and they he got away from the run. They were controlling the clock too. Good creativity in spots with McKenzie. Defense is getting pressure from both sides.
  17. John Brown is desperate. Cole Beasley is desperate. Beckham would be a legitimate player.
  18. Especially in key moments where McDermott and Frazier play overly soft coverage and don’t do anything in the front 7 to allow conversions. A great point you make and I don’t think this is getting enough discussion, is you only have 6 games left. So there is not a lot of time to practically get more of a route tree for Gabe, or start using Knox over the middle, or suddenly develop a screen game with Hines. Diggs just works, and the Bills have leaned into that. But nobody else seems to be on an upward trajectory. There is no rhythm to what we do.
  19. Yeah, I said the Bills are becoming the 2018-2021 Green Bay Packers, and I've heard Joe DiBiase say the same thing recently. It's on this OC and his staff to find ways to utilize the playmaking they have.
  20. I think it is time to see some play-design from our OC. The Bills need to play a clean game. Does anything look easy tonight? Do we get some 20 yard plays again? Or is it more of Josh Allen having to run for his life, making a living on broken plays, having to drop sideline dimes for toe-tap catches all night? Same as the kid (Phil Rapold) who was rooting for the Giants in Super Bowl XXV.
  21. Tone on WGR 550 this morning is scared. Scared of the Bills offense not looking good, scared of what Belichick has up his sleeve, feeling pressure to win a division game. I don't have fear of the Patriots. They're not a good offense. They have a Top 10 defense. We have Josh Allen. I think we can get to the mid-20's in points and win the game. On a lesser extent, can this offense get back into the mid-30's scoring, I do have some desire to see that gear again. But more so, I want to see Allen play a cleaner game, mix in designed runs, and want to see Gabe Davis contribute more than 30-yards.
  22. According to WGR, Josh should always be expected to open more. So I expect the same thing. Him running around, taking hits, toe-tap catches to the sidelines, nothing overt the middle, abandoning the run game in the 2nd half.
