Well I'm not a guy who calls into radio shows to cry on air about what the Bills mean to them, but that happens all the time. To each their own.

Because you get 8-minutes with the Head Coach. 4 of them are spent talking about Christmas, snow, staying up late and watching movies, what he ate for dinner. At 7-9 nobody cares if a rotational DT misses games. At 9-3 coming off a game where the team you're playing ran it down your throat when they needed to, injuries are more important. Generic feelings questions provide no insight to anything. Having Josh Allen explain why he loves Stefon Diggs as a person provides nothing to talk about tactically about the team.

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but I'm sure when McDermott was questioned today, there was no follow-up to how serious/how long Jordan Phillips will be out. Maybe the answer would be day to day, but I'm sure we moved on to talking about how much snow is left in McDermott's driveway.

I wonder what "deal with" means. This Sunday will be 5-weeks since the initial injury. I can't believe he would still be in pain every time he throws. I haven't seen him on the field rub the elbow after a throw, or shake out his arm after a hit. I can see some tenderness after a game maybe, or working on the range of motion/tightness in the joint.

13-seconds puts a bad taste in your mouth. When you're playing 25 yards off (exaggerated) every Chiefs WR and still rushing 4 when you know Mahomes has to get rid of the ball almost immediately was beyond bad.

1960’s football is a different sport than the later Super Bowl era. We all know this. Doesn’t look like Jordan Phillips is playing.

And the most successful times in franchise history have been a passing offense.

The third quarter I remember was horrible, wet snow/rain, and the Giants were just running the ball down our throats.

Trent Edwards to Mike Gaines maybe, then to Lee Evans went up 14-0. Until Brandon Jacobs started to take over. I remember McCargo's play near the goal line. I was at the 8-0 Blizzard game in Cleveland the week before, so it was a double dose of insane weather.

The weather forecast reminds me of under the radar horrible weather game in this same time frame: 2007 against the New York Giants. Absolutely frigid, rain/snow mix all game, tons of wind, 30’s. Did anyone else go to that game?

It’s his closing speed we’ll miss, and also his diagnosis on run plays. He blew many of them up from the side. It is valid to state that one of the obvious dangers to counting on players over 30 years old is the accumulated wear and tear. We’ve seen this to Poyer and Hyde this year, Mario Addison comes to mind, Lorenzo Alexander. Von was worth the risk because he is a HOF player on the backend of his prime. I think eventually you’ll see this with Stefon Diggs to where the Bills will need a draft solution a year early rather than a year late. In the end Beane took a lot of flak for drafting Epenesa, Basham, and Rousseau, doubling down on DE, but those three young DEs and Shaq Lawson will need to carry us through now.

Our media doesn’t ask follow up questions so McDermott said he wouldn’t practice and nobody said anything. They moved onto how the group was feeling and what it means to have Stefon Diggs in the locker room.

Darn on Jordan Phillips, I was hoping that wouldn't be a long-term thing.

The game broadcast showed Phillips laying on the field after the dive attempt, and when they came back he was off the field. But Sal C said that he stayed on the field for 20 seconds before going off to the sidelines. I think all we have on this is the speculation from Banged up Bills and McDermott's comments lumping Phillips in with Quessenberry, Gilliam, as "improving" and see how it goes.

It would be cool if our media asked Dorsey real questions about player snap counts, formations and strategy. Instead it’s talk about what having Josh Allen on your team means to you, and explain the process of facing the Jets the second time around.

He has no role, and was never as fast as advertised. Shi Smith would have been a better WR in the 6th Round.
