  1. WGR this morning trying to come up with ways to say the Bills run game isn’t as good as the statistics say. Let’s take away the Allen scrambles. 4.62 yards per carry (13th) with Allen’s designed runs in there, okay see they’re average. We all understand passing is where you want to be, and not checking down constantly like Kurt Warner wants. But Cook is over 5.0 yards per carry and Singletary is North of 4.5 ypc. Dorsey has not stuck with the run for an entire game game more than three times this year (Cleveland, Patriots and Bears). They don’t need to become the 2000 Ravens to attempt more runs and pile up Time of Possession.
  2. Fans are just all over the place. Yes to some degree you’re right Dolphins fans. Your franchise messed up when they took Tua over Herbert. That was apparent in Herbert’s first start, when he immediately threw for 300-yards. But … all this he’s a poor man Kirk Cousins, he’s a backup, he can’t win. That’s premature and shot gunny. Start cutting this guy and trading for that guy and go out and get this person, just erratic. Tank now to get this guy. You haven’t paid Tua, so see if the team can be built up, and if not, draft another QB. The whole mid-tier of the Playoff teams have similar guys: Kirk Dak Tannehill/Titans Daniel Jones Lamar Jackson All guys with questions on how far they can take you in the Playoffs.
  3. What in the world was that play calling sequence by the Packers?
  4. Neither one of these teams want to win this game.
  5. If I were a Packers fan, I’d be frustrated that year after year my team passes on offensive talent (with a HOF QB) in the first round in order to take defense, and the defense is mediocre. Miami slicing through them with ease.
  6. He’s always had that gimpy waddle kind of run. I just can’t buy a twisted ankle in Week 2 walkthrough is still plaguing him in Week 15/16.
  7. He’s been a good player all year. Titans, Steelers, Browns, Lions, Bears. The Bills rarely stick with the run for 4-Quarters. Today they did, and shocker! They can run the ball as many fans have said all year despite Howard & Jeremy, Schopp & Bulldog screaming to the contrary.
  8. Cook was never terrible. I’ve said it all year and it’s obvious, if he was given 15-20 carries a game, he’d have a few 100-yard games by now. All this he is maturing, he is growing, he is learning the game is overblown. I know McDermott wants to see practice habits. Game 2 he has had 50+ yards in the second half. The Steelers game he breaks a long TD run. Its been obvious all year that he’s good. It’s almost like NFL scouts saw that he went to an SEC powerhouse and was drafted in the 2nd Round or something? Chicago stuck with the Montgomery runs WAY too long in this game. They were beyond conservative. If I’m a fan, that was like the Packers game where they just gave up and wanted to run the clock out.
  9. Phillips shoulder is still injured. I was watching for him and he only played a handful of snaps. He took himself out early on a routine tackle, and on that TFL in the 4th he checked himself out immediately. He was wearing a brace.
  10. I just don’t understand what game you guys are watching, really don’t.
  11. Has there been a Jordan Phillips sighting since he took himself out of the game earlier?
  12. Brady Quinn was a bust. He had a physique, but I remember him for zero arm strength. Johnny Manziel, of course, he was photographed in Vegas on the first weekend off at Browns Training Camp. I’d say Matt Leinhart was a massive bust too. That guy couldn’t take a hit in college, and was a noodle arm in the NFL.
  13. Al Michaels can go too. There is no energy from the booth.
  14. Zach Wilson has just regressed to the point where he doesn’t do anything well. Holds the ball too long, take sacks. Can’t run at all. When he leaves the pocket and throws desperation heaves, they are wounded ducks that don’t make it to the WR. There doesn’t appear to a play that he can execute. And on the whole what a flat production. No crowd noise whatsoever, Al Michaels looks like he’s done as an announcer, both teams completely flat.
  15. I agree this has my attention now doing this in multiple games. But I don’t think it’s fair to scapegoat Dorsey.
  16. Whatever, the Vikings are frauds and we’re all waiting for them to be bounced in Round 1.
  17. Ok so the “soreness” never really was stated, it was inferred.
  18. The MVP is a media talking point as they endlessly rank Top 10 lists. As the fans have answered here, nobody cares about it. Nobody walks around with a 2019 Lamar Jackson MVP shirt.
  19. Where was is stated that Allen has general elbow soreness?
  20. Nice to get a 1-Hour video breaking this down. WGR 550 - Nate Geary and Joe DiBiase, have said this line over and over and it’s starting to get parroted a lot by callers and other hosts - there aren’t enough “layups” engineered by Dorsey into this offense. But you can see here that there are layups. Josh is just not that Quarterback to constantly check down. Instead he holds and looks for deeper throws, and usually there isn’t a ton of separation. The other thing that becomes apparent is, even in the Red Zone, when the Bills are at the 15 yard line, these routes end up taking 25 yard ropes to complete. Josh is in shotgun, the WRs run into the end zone, so these aren’t 12-yard throws. Gabe’s comeback route to the sideline, that takes a 20-25 yard rope to complete consistently. The Bills understand the arm strength of their QB and play to it with a lot of routes that take time to develop and run across the field, they’re just not shallow.
  21. I saw that too. The play that was most dangerous to the elbow was probably the strip sack. He didn’t give any indications on Kyle Brandt’s basement that he was re-injured. Original injury was November 6th.
