  1. Yup, and I’m not convinced McDermott and Frazier will sit Tre down and put him in a rotation, but he can’t be out there right now on speed WRs. Another poster said it, he looks like he is running a 4.7 right now. PFF has graded all our corners about the same, with Johnson as the highest. So keep him in the slot. But now with Hamlin out, maybe they start playing more Dime with only Poyer high and an extra corner to bracket #1’s. Jefferson destroyed us, and Chase left in 1-1 was obviously not working, because Boyd was wide open as well.
  2. Yes, you’re right Bengals fan, when the final yards are 68 to 66 it does indicate that the Bills were having a harder time moving the ball. After all, the Bills were only averaging 7 yards per carry, not 12. And before you point out, yes I am aware that doesn’t include the 29-yard penalty.
  3. The Bills have two more capable corners on this roster with Rhodes and Benford. I wonder if this coaching staff will make the hard decision that Tre White is not deserving of 100% snap count? Making Rhodes inactive was stupid, it leaves you extremely thin at corner. Irwin hadn’t even seen a ball, but who was going to cover him if the Bengals went 4-wide? Or 4-wide empty set with Hurst? The Bills need 5/6 of T.Johnson, Elam, White, Jackson, Rhodes and Benford active on game day, and they need to spell Tre White. You can’t have Neal out there covering slot WRs, he’s not good.
  4. Bills stupidly went man on the first play (maybe tried a corner blitz) and we all heard the same thing in the lead up to this game - the second you go man against Chase or Higgins, Burrow goes deep. First play I knew exactly what was going to happen as soon as the Bills went into formation, no safety shaded over the top. We had another play where the defense looked disheveled, Milano ended up having to cover a WR in the slot, motioning there late. Clearly the Bengals plan was to find #27 and go there. We had the Hamlin play where he moved towards the line and Hurst ran right past him. Bottom Line: Defensively the Bills don’t have to live like this with Tre White. Leslie Frazier said it in his press conferences, Tre won’t be the same this year. But the Bills making Rhodes inactive left them thin at CB and I don’t understand their decisions with him. Benford is coming back as well. I question whether this Coaching staff will actually take Tre off the field in spots, because he’s there on reputation now. The Bills don’t pivot, they’ll just keep putting him out there, and Burrow will get lauded for the Boyd TD, another where Tre gets smoked the entire route. Offensively, Josh was playing without a sleeve, so I don’t want to hear anything else about his elbow. Buck mentioned it again. All we heard about was DJ Reader wrecking things and that didn’t happen. Cook was ripping into the second level, Allen on a couple of occasions was tripped up just before getting big yards as well. Bengals fans talked trash about Logan Wilson and he got torched across the middle by Diggs. The second down play call at the goal line, just watching it once, I didn’t understand what the Bills were trying to do and immediately I said why not run Josh there? They roll Allen out to the short side of the field and nobody is there? Beasley should have caught the 3rd down ball, he did all the hard work and broke his corner off cleanly. Bottom line offensively - Bengals got ZERO pressure on Allen. They didn’t stop the run either. Bills moved the ball at ease.
  5. I’m not scared of anyone, including the Chiefs. I know the Chiefs and Bengals are capable of beating the Bills. Not expecting an easy Playoff road at all. But another 3 point win by the Chiefs today (who are increasingly becoming J. McKinnon dependent for scoring) at home against a disheveled Broncos team, down for long stretches of that game, and the Bills can’t win that? Bills can handle the Ravens, we’ve seen that. Not scared of the check-down Chargers, or the Jaguars (who are coming into their own offensively) because of Lawrence taking over, and whoever the 7th seed is. It really does leave the Bengals and regardless of the result, we’ll get a look at them before the Playoffs start. The Bills can be beaten, we’ve seen that, but they’ll be in the fight. The bye week is what I really want for guys like Milano, Poyer, Phillips, Morse, Josh and his elbow and so on.
  6. “Dynastically dominant” Nope, agree, you won’t hear a thing. He underhand flipped it and nobody in the league can do that…
  7. Ole Patty at 12 interceptions now. Awful, turnover prone Allen has 13…
  8. GB2010 is a good example here. He comes on and wishes everyone well, and Bills fans here say the same back to him. He comes back on Christmas and New Years and the Draft and wishes the team well and we talk about what the Packers need or his reactions to the Draft. No problems, super nice guy, Bills fans don’t feel like they are better, GB doesn’t have to lay down on the ground while Bills fans talk down to him either. He doesn’t hold Green Bay’s titles over Bills fans head or anything like that.
  9. Agree, I have lived south of Dayton since 2013. I’ve watched the rise of the Dalton era, watched the build a secondary full of first rounders - Hall, Newman, Nelson, Pac Man, Taylor Mays. Watched them build a WR group with Sanu, Marvin Jones, how they could have been even scarier with an healthy Eifert, and they got worse when they left in FA, leaving Boyd. So when I get told I don’t know anything, maybe if you were talking other franchises they’d be right. But I’ve lived all over Ohio since 2007, so I know the Browns and Bengals very well. I listen to a ton of local radio. And you’re right, that stadium was empty, you could give away tickets. I’ve been there. So no disrespect in that sense to their fans, they hadn’t won a Playoff game since 1990 before last year. You get a true franchise QB, I get it, get excited. But now you’re going on other teams message boards? And I’m supposed to clap like a seal? No.
  10. Yeah and those same fans now are entitled, petulant, cry babies who boo their team and leave games early. Aka as soon as the winning stopped, you don’t hear their mouths anymore. For years you heard about that diehard fan base. Because they followed the team or happened to grow up near Foxboro they “knew what good football looked like” and they had a “standard” that the team had to meet. As soon as they lost their QB they became the same as every other middling franchise. Think these same fans were going on other teams boards in 2019 and running their mouths when that franchise was on its way to the worst record in the league? Same internet, same websites. Crickets. Sorry his premise is BS. That Boyd and Mixon are complimenting the Bills. Sorry, you run your mouth and say it all runs through Cincinnati now and the Bills are good but not the best we’ve faced, there is no compliment there. Its the definition of bulletin board material. Don’t expect them to kiss the Bills behinds, but they clearly are talking smack.
  11. Didn’t attack anyone, but this no different than Patriots fans coming on Bills message boards to educate Bills fans on football over the years.
  12. We already played the best WR in the league, it isn’t Chase or Higgins.
  13. Okay I’ll just lower my head and walk home. Everything the Bengals have said are back handed BS compliments. Read Boyd’s statement again “not the best Bengals have seen”. You can bake a great pie, but if you put a dog turd in one slice it’s not a compliment. Same with Mixon, they’re good … but not as a good as the Ravens. Boyd is writing checks that Chase and Higgins will try and cash. Same with Joe Mixon. Your own fans were up in arms after your 4-4 start and getting blasted in Cleveland on Halloween. You don’t know anything about me, but I can tell you I listen to a boatload of 1530 AM Cincinnati - Mo Eger, Dave Laptham, Dan Hoard, Lance McCalister, let alone all the guys on 1410 who cover Bengals and Browns. You come up here on a Bills board and try to educate Bills fans about your team and football. Where is your PhD Buck?
  14. Well the media is kissing Burrow’s rump, Skip is now proclaiming Burrow has surpassed Mahomes. Your third WR is talking about how the Bills secondary is basic and not the best they’ve played. Mixon is now chiming in that everything runs through Cincinnati now. You score 26 ppg, your team give up 20 ppg. Nobody is scared of the Bengals. three teams in your own division have beaten you.
  15. Why are we kissing this teams behind? We beat KC on the road by 4, they beat KC by 3 at home. They aren’t even masters of their own division, losing to Pittsburgh, Baltimore and Cleveland. They score less than the Bills, they give up more points than the Bills and we sit here and just play foot stool to these guys. I agree they are capable, but they’re chirping a lot and we have sell out fans that just agree with the media and them.
  16. Yeah I watched it. Golden Boy couldn’t do anything against the Browns D. Even the miracle that is Tee Higgins barely salvaged a night with a garbage time TD on an under thrown deep ball.
  17. “We weren’t complaining about that then we’re we” Bills and Chiefs lost Week 3 and Bengals lost Weeks 1-2 so all that went out the window. Your dig at me doesn't even get off the ground. Listening to Ross Tucker ramble about how good the Bengals are and how superior their skill players are. And Schopp just lapping up the spilled milk on the ground. Win on Monday and this BS will continue by guys like Skip Bayless and others, but we’ve got better wins than anyone in the AFC bar none.
  18. Why aren’t the Bengals undefeated? They have the best defense in the league. Their QB is the best in the league. Ja’Marr and the WRs are the best ever. How has anyone managed to beat them?
  19. The media knee jerks to the hot new story. Skip Bayless is now on the Burrow is the best QB in the league train (even though earlier In the year he was all Lamar Jackson). I don’t know what the other old / washed up hosts like Dan Patrick, Colin Cowherd, Mike Greenberg think. Two weeks ago it was Herbert>Allen, then he stopped throwing TDs so he’s down now. Then Jalen Hurts was better than anyone, until the shoulder. Last year it was Kyler Murray is who you want to build your franchise around.
  20. It’s his time. He’s going against a 6’7” practice squad player.
  21. Do we all realize that Burrow does throw interceptions too right? That his offense isn’t scoring 35 ppg right? That he eats a boatload of sacks? We act like he’s something we’ve never seen. If we can’t get it done, then somebody else will eat that garbage Bengals OLine and spike that arrogant QB. Think Philly or San Fran (who the Bengals haven’t played) are scared? Treating the Bengals like they’re the 1989 49ers.
  22. Well if you believe in bulletin board material the Bengals (and National Media) are giving you paragraphs of it. They know they’ve arrived and done it all.
