  1. From my recollection it felt like hand fighting, but I didn’t have a problem with the call. Tre has been grabby and doesn’t feel like his has his top gear back. The Bills put him in a bad position.
  2. Jonah was on crutches and a knee brace after the game. Cappa got hurt in the Week 18 Ravens game. DNPs all week. Monday of last week Taylor said Cappa would be a long shot to play against the Ravens in the Playoffs. And Collins is gone for the year regardless. All this said, I’m with others. I’m not sure the Bills DEs can take advantage of this. Rousseau would seem to be in the best spot, but when was his last “big” game? One sack isn’t going to do anything.
  3. I knew it was going to happen as soon as he motioned out there late. Burrow saw one on one and all week the Bengals insiders said Burrow sees one on one, he doesn’t hesitate, he immediately throws deep.
  4. No way that a Bills fan can argue Daboll didn't do that that. Daboll abandoned the run here all the time. I think fans should dial back on mentally staying in this place where Allen is a raw rookie who hasn't learned. The numbers would say he essentially is at peak production (~40-45 total TDs) for three straight seasons now. Maybe his passing gets better with age, but mentally he has improved his processing skills.
  5. Just watched it. Play 1 - Tre one on one with Chase - PI (okay not a catch) Play 2 - Tre gives up TD to Boyd Play 3 - Tre is aligned (playing way off) across from Higgins as he runs across the field (maybe it's not his responsibility?)
  6. Diggs has to be present all 4-quarters. He can’t be taken out of the game by coverages. Minnesota just learned that the hard way with Jefferson.
  7. I worry about that some. You can definitely get behind Tre still. The Dolphins were able to do, a better throw to Waddle and Tre doesn’t catch up to that. But I accept it won’t look perfect, they’re going to give up plays. Can they get one INT on Burrow? He threw 12 this year, but only 8 across 15 games.
  8. And yet, in 2023, they score the 2nd most points in the league. And it takes Michael Jordan at QB and Andy Reid who has 35 years of NFL Offensive Coaching experience to do that. And they score 1 point more per game.
  9. But I thought Dorsey didn't know how to "scheme guys open" or design "layups" for this offense? That's what I'm told.
  10. John Brown definitely ran the wrong route. He didn't stay straight, he ran out and up, and ran out of time. Pause the video when Josh begins to throw...John Brown is on running straight to the endzone, when the ball is in the air he veers off and then turns it back up. Last week our media loved it when Josh took the 1 on 1. This week it's a pick, so Josh needs to be "reigned in"
  11. So fire Dorsey and bring in a Norv Turner or Darrell Bevel type?
  12. Howard Simon: I don’t have my notes, didn’t rewatch the game, but I remember thinking we need more checkdowns. Jeremy White: It’s like golf you know? Having to work really hard for a par. Schopp: The line is -250 this week, my fantasy football team, do you guys want to do a bad sequels draft? Bulldog: I’m in my attic and just woke up, what are we talking about today? All our young hosts: Dorsey doesn’t “scheme anything open”
  13. Yet Josh says that when he trained with Jordan Palmer down in Arizona with Burrow, it was Burrow who was all football, all the time, and Allen was the one trying to lighten the mood. It sounded loud on TV. Only comparison was Arrowhead in Week 6.
  14. Burrow does the same things by the way. You don’t think he took one look at Tre White on Ja’Marr Chase and said I’m throwing deep here?
  15. Josh is a 5th year QB now squarely in his athletic prime.
  16. 48% ? Seems normal. Josh, you make better throws, what’s wrong with you? That’s it, we’re making Singletary the focus of our gameplan.
  17. Josh had 36 TDs and 15 Ints in 2021 with 17 games and a mid-season lull. Josh had 35 TDs and 14 Ints in 2022 (in 16 games) and Gabe drops a touchdown against the Patriots. Why the narrative? Coulda, woulda, shoulda, took more checkdowns to Singletary. That’s how you win. Constant checkdowns, riding Cole Beasley and using Diggs as a decoy.
  18. But I thought Dorsey never “schemed guys open” as WGR repeats over and over.
  19. I saw somewhere today, think it was the CBS article, saying Herbert was 3.3% big time throw rate, 127 balls thrown behind the line of scrimmage, and had an ADT of 7.0 yards.
  20. I like Herbert. But: 1. He’s not as coordinated as Allen when running, and he doesn’t enjoy the physicality of running. He will not lower the shoulder and get the first down. 2. Chargers have a ton of possession and in the case of Mike Williams, jump ball contest WRs. When they lost Guyton they really lost their only vertical stretcher. 3. His mechanics are great, he throws a precision ball. But this year the points production is down, and he did nothing in the second half of that Playoff game.
  21. Hey Josh, can we incorporate the Kirk Cousins tuck and turtle eyes-closed heave to the middle of the field when under pressure throw? No, you stand in there and throw 61-yard ropes to Diggs? Nah we hate that, give me Austin Ekeler and 107 receptions for 7.7 ypc.
  22. Ding Ding Ding Only throw 10-yards Josh…… Until we need a 36 yard completion with 30 seconds left to win in Detroit. Then it’s ok, uncork it and literally turn an OT game into a W.
