  1. The WR “market” is untapped as it’s been mostly OLine and LBs today. Hopkins…
  2. This team has been obsessed with running back. And they don’t even use the ones they have.
  3. Germaine Pratt needs a new agent. He only got 3 years, 21 million from the Bengals? He’s only worth 7 million a year, but Edmunds is worth $18M?
  4. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out. $18M per. Nope.
  5. Well, enjoy missing the Playoffs Raiders.
  6. I’ve thought signing him means McKenzie goes. I also like Slayton. Everytime the Giants chose to use him, he was productive.
  7. I wonder if Olamide Zachheaus would be a good pickup for the Bills? Seems like a steady veteran who has improved every season, and is only 26.
  8. He’s trending towards being a lifelong Bill and Wall of Famer. Excellent for the team.
  9. Is the root of your statement above that the team just doesn’t draft well enough to not require supplements through free agency? To get younger you have to hit on draft picks that can get to elite levels. It’s tough because we’ve seen Allen makes this team good, so that means you’re now drafting in the 20’s not around 10 anymore. It will be interesting to see if Beane tries to accelerate the build (do you wait for Davis to get better, waiting for Spencer Brown to develop, waiting on Epenesa, Basham, Rousseau to make an impact) and so on?
  10. They’ve poured resources into the defense. You’re right into noting the age of these offensive players they bring in Beasley (30), John Brown (30), Sanders (34), Crowder (29) when you bring them in. The Bills have to recognize the faulty logic that they are the same as the Chiefs. They're not. Mahomes is better than Allen. Reid is better than McDermott. Because there is a gap, the Bills have to get more elite talent around Allen to compensate. This entire build has stalled because Beane stopped after getting Diggs in 2020 and this offense has plateaued. All those WRs that moved, Hopkins available right now. Let’s see if Beane can recognize the holes and not let McDermott pour everything into defense.
  11. 🤮 Not to you, but why would we throw money at Oliver?
  12. Well Gunner, according to Mike Schopp, no team, no scout can truly know who will be good and bad in the NFL. It’s all a dart throw and the more darts you have the better your odds. I have a feeling this draft will be like a ton of drafts before it. Players picked higher will generally be better than those picked in Rounds 4-7. If you added 10 more great players to this draft, it doesn’t change the fact that the Bills have 3 picks in the Top 100, and only 6 picks total. Have the Bills always done better in stronger drafts on the back of it was just a stronger draft?
  13. Well, I think the dumbest thing the Bills could do is lose Edmunds and Poyer, and then turn around immediately and take Campbell or Antonio Johnson at #27. Thats how the 2005-2012 Bills did things with Jauron and Brandon. Also, people do realize that if there was a Julio Jones in this draft, or a Calvin Johnson, or a Garrett Wilson, the class would be better, but at #27 none of those players would be there right? I don't see a good draft, bad draft, you're picking late in every round, so there are no more blue chippers anymore.
  14. In terms of WR, I think it fell nicely for the Bills. I think Zay Flowers had a good combine (4.42-1.53-35.5"-10'7"), but not so good that he wouldn't be there. If Jalin Hyatt had run 4.29-4.38 he most likely doesn't get past the Chargers at #21. Now at 4.40-1.50-40"-11'3" does he make it to the Bills at #27? Still huge explosion and 4.40 flat is plenty fast enough. Also, both guys are small, Flowers at 182 and Hyatt 180. Jaxson Smith-Ngijba did more than enough to cement Top 20 pick status, and Quinton Johnson did too with 40.5" vertical and 11'2" broad. Those are great numbers. You have to hope that Bijan did enough to make someone draft him before the Bills, and Gibbs had a big combine too.
  15. Team is ready to win now. Pieces (Edmunds, Poyer) are already being nibbled off the roster. Diggs aging. Our 2nd Round picks have historically been absolutely awful (yes Thurman 9,000 years ago).
  16. No brainer for the Bills. Diggs is 30. You're running out of years in his prime, let alone Diggs' patience with the organization. If you're not going to pay Tremaine or Poyer, this is a no brainer to try and swing. A 2nd Round Pick? The Bills 2nds have been largely awful my entire life.
  17. After the Combine, absolutely not. There should be someone on offense for the Bills to take with at least 4 QBs going in the 1st Round and the Dolphins forfeiting their pick.
  18. I think this is an opportunity for the Bills. Let someone else pay Tremaine $20M a year. And Poyer looks to be in the find his retirement destination portion of his career.
  19. According to Sal Capaccio, the Bills signing OJ Howard and Tyler Kroft showed true attempts to get better at the position. Howard is a first round bust, and Kroft has 1,000 yard receiving total for his entire career. Bottom of the barrel investments. Our current Tight End #2 was an undrafted player. Mayer's consistency across three seasons is intriguing to me. Musgrave hasn't been able to stay healthy. Kincaid has one big year. Washington looks like a big-catch specialist at Georgia, LePorta has two solid years and good Combine.
