  1. I'm in between on this and it is a real struggle for me to find the right balance. Like others have said, I've seen enough of these games to not get overly heated anymore, last night for instance when the 12 men on the field was called, I just thought its a better draft pick. And, in general, I like watching the sport, but the Bills just suck the fun out it most years. What I struggle with is I have no personnel connection with any other team, so while I follow the league closely, I don't care that much, and so I remain an invested Bills fan. In other words, I watch All-22 breakdowns on other teams, listen to other sports radios, and keep tabs on most other teams in the league by listening to their Head Coach interviews, but it's really just a filler to participate in the sport. I've listened to Herbert and Staley, Arthur Smith, Matt LaFleur and so forth. If I could turn off the care for the Bills and just consume the sport as analyst, that would be the goal, but it's harder said than done.
  2. I lack the faith that this organization will swing for elite level talent (in their prime, not at the very end of their careers). The 49ers take big swings, Beane has shown me his model is the carry-over. McDermott can not be the Head Coach at the start of 2024.
  3. I agree with Allen is a space cadet right now.
  4. Joe Brady just limp through the rest of the year, and then this organization needs a real search.
  5. I think Diggs explained exactly what it was in the Rich Eisen interview. After Cincinnati he got the feeling of - is this really ever going to happen in Buffalo? Are we really going to win it ALL here? And these clown show games - Jets Monday Night, Patriots debacle, barely hanging on against the Giants and Bucs, and last night's 12 men on the field, it has to feel like you're never going to get there with this team. And obviously, his brother plays in a bigger market, on a marquee team, so it's going to be this constant Diggs is going to want out. Buffalo has always had no self esteem and bad relationships with star players because they either won't pay, or they eventually blame the losing on the good players and drive them out of town. I'm looking at Pegula do something at the end of the year. McDermott has run out of chances to try and get this team over the hump.
  6. Absolutely not. I want this entire Coaching Staff (and possibly FO) to get out. I don't miss Daboll. I want McDermott gone, and unlike Russ Brandon in 2013 - a real NO STONE UNTURNED search for a Head Coach.
  7. That whole thing reeked because of the timing and the messaging. That announcement was February 28th 2023 after all the firings and hiring's were done and there were no quality candidates left. At first it was Leslie is stepping away from football, then in the summer it was Leslie was just looking to take a year off and looks forward to 2024.
  8. I think this coaching staff (led by McDermott) has served up enough heart wrenching/ unbelievable losses. It's obvious that it comes back to 13-seconds. A lot of credibility was lost at that moment. And you're just seeing a natural climb, peak, plateau and regression.
  9. Fournette called up and the Bills to pound the rock. McDermott will have an even bigger say in the offense.
  10. If McDermott is coaching this team in 2024 Pegula deserves what he gets. He needs to be shown the door.
  11. It doesn't matter. This is an opportunity to flush him out the door. Dorsey is gone anyways, so it's time.
  12. Watching Detroit yesterday and then the Bills is pretty stark. You see more variety in their run game with under center handoffs, pitches to the edges, reverses. In the pass game it was eye opening to see how open Saint Brown was constantly. Now you can explain that away by saying the Chargers defense is bad, but it wasn't too unlike what we in passing game touch distribution with Saint Brown having 100+, then it's a large drop off to Khalif Raymond and LaPorta at 45, 40 yards respectively.
  13. One call up will have to be corner I'd think. Norman is probably one of them.
  14. We should be way past culture at this point. That was a great bar in 2017 when McDermott and Beane inherited the Russ Brandon/Doug Whaley Bills. So it's flush Sammy, Dareus, Rex. But we have a QB for the first time since Jim Kelly, and he's largely propping up a pedestrian organization and team around him. I like Beane's candid style, but overall the drafting has left a lot to be desired. There are not many high level talents that he has drafted outside of Allen. And offensively we are plateaued because this regime got Diggs, and couldn't get anyone else.
  15. We are one CB injury away from Josh Norman starting.

  17. What a wack call on 4th down there
  18. Just don’t look further back than a couple of weeks ago when they lost to the Panthers….
  19. So let’s do it then. Choke it down national media.
  20. A guy with 18 TDs, 2nd in completion percentage. 6 more TDs rushing, 4th in passing yards and he’s descending. Lamar choked again. Burrow had 2 Ints and won’t face a lick of media criticism. The Chargers are on their way to losing at home. And we’re whining about CJ Stroud, a guy who we had 0 chance of getting, doesn’t play in our division, and hasn’t played the Bills. Whatever.
  21. Oh okay. Allen on the descent. Give me a freaking break.
  22. Yeah maybe, but they have him at a 36.2 overall. They're that far off? Like he's actually good? Doubt it.
  23. Agree, going points. Beane and his staff must draft well.
