  1. My comments are football focused thoughts. But what you get in response is you need meds, you think you know more than everyone. So please.
  2. How do you know, you’re not with him everyday taking notes on his recovery?
  3. First line of my response was “I have no issue with Allen attending events” Secondly, I don’t think I know more than other people. I read/listen the available media and make a judgement. If it’s all a black box and we don’t know, that’s fine, but at the end of the day it’s wins and losses and when you lose you dig around for what happened. For me it’s not enough to go oh-well, we’ll get them next year, that’s all. Nothing would progress in the world took that approach.
  4. And people like you feel entitled to police everyone. That's the key difference here. From 2006-2017 there was a large segment of Bills fans who commented on the shoddy nature of the organization, and the same "realist" verses "true-fan" debates erupted. And ultimately, the "negative realist" fans were right. That iteration of the Bills was never going to win, Brandon, Nix, Whaley, Levy running the show. So while the organization is clearly NFL caliber now, the Super Bowl drought weighs on the fanbase. Fans are anxious to get to the final level and win. If you say something like the Dorian Williams is too small to play MIKE, and the pick should have been spent on an upside RT Dewand Jones, for instance, the eruption of Beane knows what he's doing, what are your credentials, the team was 13-3 last year rain down. My statement still stands. Applaud the guy for saying Allen lost his edge, because you'll get the typical blowback here. Except they give interviews about it. Watch Joe Burrow's with Chris Simms, or Justin Herbert's physical plan where he made the decision to add more muscle. Of course we don't attend the Jordan Palmer Passing Camp, but some information on this does come out.
  5. Thank you for the courage to say this. These sort of opinions are not allowed on this message board. But right or wrong, volunteering a "negative" thought.
  6. I don't worry about him attending events, or being out in the public. My question has always revolved around how does Josh get to the next performance level? 2020, 2021, 2022 have largely been the same statistically (Top 4 in NFL). The Bills have taken the approach to keep the same 2020 team around him as much as possible I believe, going so far as to re-sign Cole Beasley and John Brown. That's why I say there is meat on the bone when it comes to his conditioning, especially when you listen to how the other Quarterbacks around the league prepare in the offseason.
  7. Ertz would have been like most deals in Buffalo’s history, a good player way past his prime.
  8. Who is worth it? Simmons is on a bad Titans team so he gets paid. The Bengals have a reasonable contract in place for DJ Reader. Of course, Aaron Donald and JJ Watt and Chris Jones who have massive pass rushing skills. But I want the Bills to stay far away from $90M - $100M contracts for DTs.
  9. My read on McGovern is he is just at starter threshold, with only 1 real year of full starting experience. Bates could still beat him out.
  10. Yes, he said Bernard looks small on the field, and plays small. Williams' doesn't have ideal size, but plays faster than Bernard, and is a bigger hitter. I do agree that the because Bernard never saw the field again on defense after the Jets game, tells you the Bills weren't impressed. Sal C keeps saying the same story about how Dodson pulled him aside and said that Bernard can really play, but if Dorian Williams' was a reach by the NFL.com Scouting Report, then Bernard was a much bigger reach. He was seen as 5th-6th round prospect by most.
  11. That show has gone downhill. Too much Nick Wright, way too much McIntyre and his constant Jets talk. I stopped listening to them completely after the Minnesota game last year and will never go back.
  12. A lot of analysts are higher on the Dorian Williams pick, saying he can step into the MLB role right now. But Beane is smart to point out, he played a simplified Tulane defense, nothing as complicated as the NFL. Greg Cosell like Williams' tape, and he likes the prospect more than Bernard.
  13. Joe didn't take much/if any heat for that AFCCG performance. Two interceptions, and the second one was definitely an underthrow. Given multiple possessions in the 4th to take the lead and he couldn't do it. I think he's Top 3, photographic memory, lifts weights. But definitively better than Allen? I'm glad to see Hebert getting his recognition, and Lawrence is on his way up and going to pass a lot of these QBs by the end of the year. The media just hangs on for dear life with Lamar and his 2019 MVP, but we haven't seen that guy in 4-years.
  14. Can Shakir play and win on the outside, or is he slot only? Can he eat into Gabe’s snap count. His role / path to the field is kind of a murky to me. Because Harty is right behind him and the Bills say he can play inside or outside. All of this to say do the Bills have enough outside depth to not have Gabe at 95%+ snap count?
  15. 1. Rodgers makes it harder to win the division, shifting the balance of the power though, I don’t know if I’d go that far. 2. I think the AFC North is a grinder. 3. Tua. Two sub 4.30 WRs. Imagine Josh with Tyreek Hill and Waddle. Bills and Jets are right behind the Dolphins. Bills have a better offensive line, and a deeper backfield. Jets have a 5-6 deep NFL WR group. 4. Jets most likely have the best defense in the division. 5. Hard to say the Patriots with how little offense they drafted. Probably down to the Bills and Jets.
  16. Yeah, this is an outdated way to build a team in my opinion. Paying DTs to huge money. Not a business I want the Bills to be in. Of course there are exceptions, Chris Jones. To some degree I don’t know how much value there is in paying DEs to massive deals, verses keeping a young pipeline going on the defensive line. Quarterbacks are too smart, get rid of the ball too quickly, for these pass rushers to get there reliably.
  17. Not sure what this means, but at least it stops them from talking gambling for more than 10-minutes.
  18. Happy for Buffalo. WGR 550 said this morning that it keeps the Bills in Buffalo for 30-years.
  19. YES. This is the weakness. I still think a lot hinges on Spencer Brown. They are taking a calculated risk there that he can make a jump. But Cook, Hines, add-in Harris and Murray, you would think there would have to be an uptick in the amount the Bills run the ball. If nothing else, can Doyle flex into the Bobby Hart role and help push the pile more as the 6th OLineman with size?
  20. The Jets do have a deep WR. Wilson taking over the #1, with Lazard, Cobb, Davis, Mims and Hardman added.
  21. For Beane to cram in this many FAs with the money he had available is impressive. Say for instance the Bengals? Week one of FA they don't try to get Hurst, Bates, Bell back. Pratt signs a below-market value contract to stay in Cincinnati. They get their LT, so props there, then Perine walks, and they done hardly anything else. After Poyer, the Bills continued on getting Rapp, Anderson, Phillips, Lawson, Harris, Murray and now Ford to sign, extending Bass. The Bills have seemingly had less than $10M to spend for weeks, and they're still getting veterans to sign.
  22. Watching the Bills WRs warm up in Detroit, you could get a sense for how small they were. McKenzie, Shakir, Gentry was up for that game. I do think they were too small on the whole.
  23. I’d rather get one of the remaining veteran pass rushers. I don’t think the Bills are moving off Spencer Brown whatsoever. So save the money on Wynn and see if you can get Melvin Ingram or Justin Houston.
