  1. I am 100% with you. If Beane doesn’t pay Cook - trades him as part of a DE move or just for assets AND then replaces him with a PREMIUM RB in the Draft. All good. Wherever you draw that line - for me it’s something like Hampton, Johnson, Judkins, Henderson, Sampson. Wherever your line is - you’re thinking it’s Round 4 and 5. But that’s R2 for me and so I don’t want to hear Chris Brown hyping up our 5th Round compensatory pick and Ty Johnson as replacements. Otherwise you’re hoping Bhayshul Tuten can step right in and be an RB1.
  2. Yeah that might all compute until you see who this GM has selected before: Devin Singletary (3rd) Zack Moss (3rd) Traded conditional 6th and Moss for Nyheim Hines James Cook (2nd) Ray Davis (4th) Taiwan Jones, Chris Ivory, Frank Gore, TJ Yeldon, Matt Breida, Leonard Fournette, Latavius Murray, Damian Harris, Ty Johnson. Using Cook as a chip is one thing, but Cook is easily the best RB this team has had in 7-years of Josh Allen. Seeing a lot of Chargers emerging as trade partners - what are they giving the Bills - Derwin James? A first round pick? Or is it the usual 3rd? Which is nothing. So the Bills lose 250-touches and gain a 3rd Rounder - so almost assuredly they lose firepower as they flip all their resources to try and become the Philadelphia Eagles a year too late.
  3. Last year at Highmark. When the Bills take the field for their season opener in 2026 Allen will be 30-years old. McDermott will have had all of Allen’s 20’s, with his hand picked GM.
  4. This conversation sounds like we were teleported back to 2008 and we discussed how no player was worth it. If I really thought this team was going to make a run a Myles Garrett or Maxx Crosby or a real #1 WR and they used Cook as a chip, then that would be different. I don’t expect that. I think McDermott and Beane are firmly in the run it back camp. And fans don’t want to use a premium asset to replace Cook either, which really just leaves you with a weakened offense and Allen having to do even more. I mean we’re worried about 25-26 year old Cook getting hurt but not 27-28 year old Ty Johnson who has never been counted on as a #1 or Ray Davis who is the same 25-26 years old as Cook? In a league where the floor for contracts is reset every year. Dak was outrageous asking for $30M. Now he makes $60M.
  5. Is this supposed to be a mic drop argument? Think he still goes as Pick 64th overall in a redraft?
  6. I see fans are still picking the team over the player. So glad the Bills stuck to their morals and didn’t have an answer at LT for 8-years. 🤦‍♂️ But that’s who we were - a bad team - that gave away their best players to the smart teams.
  7. I just don’t trust the FO at WR. They’ve shown over and over that they do the bare minimum. And Cook is the only back they’ve really hit on their entire tenure. Offensivelt the personnel around Allen has been weak since he arrived in Buffalo. Bernard is 50/50. He is not a physical tone setter. To your point, $6.7M is still 3x - 4x higher than a draft pick. So that might be a player that you let walk and just replace. Paying $22.6M for Benford? Yeah the Bills model has mostly been continuity in the secondary as long as humanly possible before age or injury destroys it - Tre White, Poyer, Hyde, now Rapp and Hamlin, Benford. Completely agree on not extending. Bills couldn’t get out of that contract if he gets another concussion. And even without the concussions, a $22.6M corner? With how up and down that position is year to year?
  8. He just got on the field too late in his career and ran out of years.
  9. Yeah - that mini headache wave when you turn your head quickly?
  10. Just wait until Allen is 35 and then we won’t have regrets that we let Sean go too early.
  11. Coleman first 9 game pace for 17-games: 41.5 catches, 2.44 catches/game, 787.7 yards Coleman pace last 4 games for 17-games: 29.8 catches, 1.75 catches/game, 590.8 yards
  12. God please just get one freaking Super Bowl for this city and these fans. Gosh man, please.
  13. So you’re in the D-D+ range instead of C but notionally you’re in the same direction.
  14. He runs 4.64 unofficial in Attempt 1, 4.62 unofficial in Attempt 2. Official 4.61. Hopefully he is working out with Christian McCaffrey's track coach to get faster. Step One is to improve all facets of his speed and acceleration.
  15. Yeah - lazy is pretty relative - Myles Garrett went #1 overall. So only one team had a chance to get him. It's also not just about trusting your scouts - the Browns have 26 on their staff and they can't draft any difference makers.
  16. Average at best. Oliver - He's been a starter since being drafted and earned a second contract. You always want more from him. B- AJE - He had a disaster of a Combine with his 5.04 40-yard dash. So not surprising he had to drop weight right away and then turned into a rotational player. C Rousseau - The best player on this list. 6'6" with real size and young. A Elam - Flat out bust. No other way to put it. He's inactive all the time. F Kincaid - Unfortunately there was run on WRs right before the Bills picked. It was always a weird fit with this "big slot WR" and Knox already under contract. For me, he's underwhelmed his entire time here. Always wished he was taller, stronger, faster. C Coleman - He plays just like his Scouting Reports said he was. Maybe he was coming on with back to back good games against the Titans and Seahawks, but this ignores the 1-catch, 2-target red zone drop against the Dolphins. Down the stretch he was unusable. Allen would try a deep fade high and outside, otherwise nothing went his way. All you can hope is he is working non-stop this offseason on his speed. Right now? C? A = 4 B = 3 C = 2 D = 1 F = 0 Average = 2.17 Average as I went through this experiment.
  17. That happens when you sit in your room and drink yourself into a stupor every night.
  18. Once again you make up a scenario in your head about 4th Rounders when there were other options for Beane at #27 overall. You're the one making the case for Dewayne Carter as a valuable piece going forward. 95th overall pick that couldn't get on the field for the Playoffs.
  19. Because they read guys like Matt Harmon and Lance Zierlein who say - ehh he can't really separate so he needs to transition to the slot. And then you say - wait we already have Khalil Shakir for that. Then your GM trades with Kansas City and they take the fastest player in the history of the combine. And then your GM says he was disappointed with Keon after the wrist injury. What do you want fans to think? 🤷‍♂️
  20. Drafting Ed Oliver and passing on Christian Wilkins, Jeff Simmons, Dexter Lawrence doesn't look good.
  21. WRs that were available when the Bills were on the clock at #27: Xavier Worthy Ricky Pearsall Xavier Legette Ladd McConkey Ja'Lynn Polk Adonai Mitchell Jermaine Burton Roman Wilson Jalen McMillan Luke McCaffrey Troy Franklin Javon Baker Devontez Walker Jacob Cowling Anthony Gould Ainias Smith Jamari Thrash Bub Means Jha'Quan Jackson Malik Washington Johnny Wilson Casey Washington Tejhaun Palmer Jordan Whittington Ryan Flournoy Brenden Rice Devaughn Vele Tahj Washington Cornelius Johnson There is the list.

  23. By Lance Zierlein - NFL Analyst Draft Projection: Rounds 4-5 "Carter has the ability to become a good rotational piece in a 4-3 scheme"
  24. 2019 - anyone with eyes saw DK Metcalf's workout - saw the pictures. They take Cody Ford 38th overall. Passed on Metcalf and AJ Brown
