  1. Yes, I'm sure you've watched a lot of Dawand Jones my apologies.
  2. Did I not follow your instructions to "identify a T" taken in the 3rd or later?
  3. Also, let's see on Bernard, we're not totally out of the woods yet. In the Jets game he crashed the line to stop the run and was swallowed and pushed out of the way. You'll hear no complaints out of me if he continues to gather sacks and turnovers of course, but I wouldn't say it's problem solved just yet. When a team wants to run at the Bills, can they stop it. I still think that question needs answered. Josh Jacobs and the Raiders are way off this year from what they were in 2022.
  4. Yes. Cook's speed has improved the running back room, but the other other gap in our team that hasn't been solved is speed at WR.
  5. Our GM and Coaches have been steadfast that all Brown needed was full offseason and no surgeries. They were asked about this on several occasions. They had their chance in the Draft to select an OT in the 3rd, but instead drafted a 223 pound linebacker from Tulane, a depth WR, a Corner and another Guard. The cap was maxed out in Free Agency, so the obvious upgrade was not there.
  6. I agree that the 25 yard line start position is too generous. The 20 made more sense.
  7. 1. Dolphins 2. Chiefs 3. Bills 4. Browns 5. Ravens 6. Chargers - Don't know where to rank these guys, but they've shown ability to score in 2/3 games this year, putting them ahead of Jaguars, Steelers, Bengals. 7. Jaguars 8. Steelers 9. Bengals 10. Colts 11. Patriots 12. Texans 13. Titans 14. Raiders 15. Jets 16. Broncos Bengals are there only on reputation. They've looked terrible on offense from the jump. If it's all Burrow's calf, ok, but he's playing and would get a ton of credit if he was playing well. Their defense is susceptible on the back-end. But a 3-point win against the Rams at home? They'll move up because they have a cupcake schedule for the next 3 but not impressive.
  8. Yeah I do need glasses. You’re right he’s a 4.45-4.50 athlete. I know he did say he would have ran fast at the combine. LaPorta was 4.59 so it’s possible.
  9. Two teams were able to stay close to the Dolphins, so it’s possible.
  10. Watch the Dolphins offense, then watch the design of the Bengals offense. Like Cosell said last year, the Bengals and Bills are similar, they are a static 4-wide and throw offense. But putting Chase in the slot was mind-blowing to the commentators. Yeah and I'm not as waving away Burrow's performance as all injury. He played, and if he came out threw for 357 yards and 4 TDs it would be a love-fest for the guy on how he overcame the injury. Instead, it's become an excuse fest for another lack luster showing. But I'm not surprised. He threw two ugly interceptions (especially the 2nd one) in the AFCCG and had multiple drives to go ahead in the 4th quarter with no results and didn't face any criticism whatsoever.
  11. Hines was a complete failure in my opinion. 11 touches on offense in 9 games with the Bills. Relegated to the Special Teams doghouse. And I’ve said numerous times that Hines was a red flag on this OC, FO and HC when it comes to being on the same page, creativity in using an experienced running back and do they have the ability to really get Kincaid involved? Schopp’s shallow understanding of other teams depth chart shows through here: Harty was an oft-injured spare part in New Orleans. I never expected him to be a real contributor here. He’s 5’6” and looks like a 4.5 runner. To your point, they’ve chased this same player over and over, but I think it’s clear that the players they’ve chosen have low ceilings and they don’t know what they want to do. As creative as it gets is a bubble screen or jet sweep. Heck our bar is so low here that any presnap motion catches your eye. These players don’t have enough speed to do much with. You watch the Dolphins where Hill motions across the formation, on snap the back moves opposite to Hill’s motion and draws the defense, and Tua runs in the same direction as Hill and it’s an easy 15 yards. The Bills and Dorsey have nothing like that.
  12. 1. WGR has been obsessed with Dalton Kincaid. I think because collectively many fans and WGR hosts were on the weapon-train and they want that pick to be justified. They keep wanting deeper seam throws. Early on here, does Kincaid look fast? He looks like a 4.65-4.70 tight end to me. 2. Another WGR obsession is Harty. Mike Schopp is convinced he is a deep threat. But he has not been the athlete he was advertised to be. I think he looks the exact same and is used the exact same as Isaiah McKenzie so far. He is the mini-gadget guy. He can catch bubble screens and run around for extended handoffs. 3. The Bills best offense has been Allen to Diggs (that has never changed) but the 2nd pitch is now the run game. All the rest of the Bills pass catchers to me are guys. Knox looks the same, Shakir isn't used, Sherfield is a journeyman, Gabe has a nose for the end zone, but he's inconsistent, Kincaid is a volume possession target, and Harty gets a few designed passes at the LOS per game. The Bills playmakers lack speed (and size). Said it mid-way through the Jets game. 4. I'm not ready to declare Bernard as no worries yet, and this goes for the entire Bills rush defense. I want to see their lack of size and speed be shown as not a problem against a team that wants to run it. Bernard looked tiny and got swept away when he crashed the run against the Jets.
  13. Announcers really kissing Joe Burrows behind all night. He looked like a check down artist with no mobility at all. He has an elite WR and so it worked tonight. He looked awful.
  14. Yeah yeah yeah we know. Touchdown! Kansas City. Touchdown………Raiders…. But someone like Jim Donovan also yells, but it’s a much smoother delivery, without the “he’s hotter than a firecracker!” Merrill Reese comes to mind with the iconic voices.
  15. I think he sounds psychotic on his calls. Screaming at the top of his lungs. The type of screaming that strains your guts he's yelling so loud. Other guys around the league have an iconic/recognizable voice. He sounds insane.
  16. Tyreek Hill is faster than he ever has been. Running backs are going the way of Tight End. There are a few guys that carry the load, but the run game is increasingly being phased out, and it's all committee now. The Chiefs have "guys" at WR, their best is Rashee Rice. But their version of the dink and dunk will work again anyways. I don't know how you can stop the 49ers offense. Behind that line, Purdy throws short to elite weapons and he's good on top of that. We're in for a long year watching the Bears, Jets, Steelers on prime time constantly.
  17. I've always liked Palmer, but this is Johnston's big chance. A lot of analysts didn't like him coming out, let's see what he can do.
  18. I don't think it's a good thing. The Bills have struggled to get another top flight offensive weapon on this team to pair with Diggs. Really WRs 2-5 have been replaced by a faster and more powerful run game, with better offensive line play.
  19. WGR is obsessed with Dalton Kincaid, and they put stock into him being able to dominate up the seams, but I would say that's probably not going exactly to plan. 6.5 ypc. I think Harty is not the athlete he was billed to be. He looks like a 4.5 guy in a 5'6" body, not much burst, so he like Kincaid, is limited to dumps offs and bubble screen attempts in a dialed back Isaiah McKenzie type role. Overall, we've pounded the Raiders and Commanders, but I said after Week 1, our skill players are slow overall. We need Gabe to stay on the last two games output, 130 yards and 2 TDs and not revert back to 2 catch, 30 yard Gabe.
  20. I think it will take 35-37 points to beat the Dolphins. Their offensive line is 13th in rush block win rate, but their run game swapped Jeff Wilson out with another Tyreek Hill clone.
  21. So weird … WGR has been telling me for a long time that Dorsey “can’t scheme anyone open” and this offense is missing “easy button” throws. All of the sudden Dorsey only called the good plays. Nah, in reality I think a chunk of this comes down to the Raiders stink and it’s easier when you hand off and get 7 yards all day. Will the Bills go death by 1,000 papercuts again?
