I don’t want to get to the end of the year and we find out from Beane that Rousseau never was the same after the foot injury (like Gabe Davis and the ankle) or that Von is only 85% of what he was before the ACL after the fact, or that AJ Epenesa couldn’t sustain this pace he is on. Not when Clark can be had for $800K. If I was the Bills I would be in on that tomorrow and make a claim. We’re not done. The mission isn’t complete.

I think someone like Clark could come in handy when you can throw fresh DE after fresh DE after Burrow and Mahomes. Get to a place where you hound these QBs all day.

I don't think it's the wrong decision to keep doubling down on pass rush. Frank Clark was in that group of players: Justin Houston, Yannick Ngakoue of older pass rushers, and we seemingly got the best one in Leonard Floyd. This week it's looking like Benford and Elam.

It probably is truth serum that I think that even if the Bills traded for Jeudy, Dorsey wouldn't utilize him and we'd hear excuses about how he was still learning the system two months after the trade. He does no good to us as the #3 WR because this offense is centered around Diggs, and barely has a consistent role for Davis. I don't think he's been as advertised, but hard to know his ceiling with the Broncos QB play the past few seasons.

A big reason we lost Sunday was the time of possession got so lopsided and this team just refused to run straight ahead with Murray and Harris. I can not stand the reliance on Shotgun as a do everything formation. That stupid delay/draw to Cook that loses yards constantly. And then you listen to Dorsey and you get lip service about wanting to achieve balance. It was a horrible day for the OC and after all these years, can’t McDermott see what’s going on and override these terrible play calls? You see the pass-pass-pass is making you go 3 and 4 out 6/7 drives and yet you’re still doing it well into the second half. Bills did it to themselves against Jacksonville. Running allows you to possess the ball, and the Jags just baited the Bills successfully into forfeiting the run to gun the ball constantly.
