  1. McCoy needs to be benched. Constantly wasting downs trying to get him going.
  2. Me too. We wasted a few plays watching McCoy run sideways. Start throwing the ball downfield please.
  3. Thank you. Horrible season? Trot out out Daryl Talley and play Van Miller highlights. Its all the same thing. 9-3 is a moral victory. As the media pats you on the head like a dog.
  4. You can say that with hindsight. But if Mahomes started last year right from the start he’d be ruined or something? I dont buy that he needed that one year watching or he’d be Trent Dilfer. I think good is good.
  5. That’s what I just said. Bills need to need draft another QB this year. They had to anyways to replace Peterman, the diffference is now it has to be a high pick.
  6. Do it. But the no surgery is required thing always seems to come back and bite pro athletes, Alex Rodriguez with the hip comes to mind.
  7. Also get Allen the surgery if he needs it. You don’t need an Isaiah Thomas situation where he goes out and 2 games in aggrevates it again.
  8. Then the Bills better draft a QB in the first round if the prospect warrants it. How could the Bills just bank on Allen in 2019? Start making other plans going around him.
  9. Right now the Bills are backed into a corner. There is no WR that they can try, not one young RB on the roster, no Offensive Lineman they’ve been Coaching up. There isn’t one young player they can try and feature to generate points. It’s an overmatched group now led by a 35 year old ex-Panther who was on the beach a month ago. Our Coach is on the record talking about running the ball in snowy Buffalo, or stating culture is more important than scheme. He can say that right now because of the Playoffs in 2017. But “I have to watch the tape” and “there are throws he’d like to have back” are not going to fly if the Bills are scoring 11 ppg, 7 games into 2019. You look at the offensive players this FO has signed in FA and traded for and how can fans feel like this staff understands how to win in the NFL? Anquan Boldin? Mike Tolbert? Jeremy Kerley? Robert Foster? Ray Ray McCloud? Trading up for Zay Jones? The plan has been run 30-year old declining McCoy into the ground with no passing game because its snowy.
  10. Yeah he did. He ended The Drought. We all jumped around when that Dalton pass went in. But, we scored 3 points in that game and it foreshadowed the offensive struggles to come. The Playoffs gave McDermott 2018 and 2019. But not a lifetime contract. His offense is the worst in over 30 years of data. So he gets this upcoming offseason to try and get it solved. I say this because I doubt that if we get 7 games into 2019 and the offense is scoring 11.6 ppg, that the fans are going to be silent and remember a Playoff loss two years ago.
  11. You could argue the Browns are better positioned. Their skill position talent is better and Mayfield probably has a better chance of working that Allen. They also have a ton of cap space. Their stigma is they change the FO and Coaches more often than the Bills do. The Haslem's are not stable.
  12. Trade rosters straight up? Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit is close but Stafford is better than anything we've had since Kelly, Indianapolis, Jets, Cards, Oakland. Its all about QB. Not about haggling whether 2 wins is significantly different than 1 win or 3 wins.
  13. I’ve laid out the case a few times that a “veteran QB” as the Bills and the media define it, is a waste of time. It’s always some old, washed up back up that Bills had to talk out of retirement., It’s the first position I mentioned. The over arching need of the entire franchise. But are the Bills going to make a serious run at one in the Draft? Or are they going to sell us the virtues of a veteran QB?
  14. How do you get those players to perform? Hint: It’s called talent meets hard work. The Bills are missing 1/2 of that equation. You’re telling me that Bill Belichick smiles and compliments his players all the time? Old Cuddly Grandpa Bill. Andy Reid’s secret isn’t scheme and play calling, it’s telling 4.26 Tyreek Hill “good job”. Fricking ridiculous. It’s a stupid phrase that means nothing. Of course we want the defense to stop the opponent and give the ball back to our offense, who then gives enough field position for a FG or TD. Of course you don’t want to have penalties or turnovers. It means nothing because it’s so obvious that it doesn’t need said. Its another McDermott mannerism. Meanwhile other teams in the league say hell with this we’re throwing 75 yards over your head, 7-0.
  15. Ok bud. You’re right, complimenting players is what it means. It’s an offense that drives the field using time on the clock. When they get stopped Special Teams pins the opposition deep. Then the defense gets a 3 and out. Special Teams catches the punt and gives the offense good field position to work with. That’s what it is. Not clapping and complimenting hard work. When will Bills fans realize that “working hard” does not meaningfully differentiate the Bills from the rest of the league. What are the Bills going to out smile and out clap Pete Carrol? Give me a break.
