  1. Looked it up quick, but if the Bills needed they could sign a player directly to the active roster from any teams practice squad. Of course Ray Davis is still in concussion protocol. He got knocked out cold 3-days ago. The Bills tend to trust their players so I think Plan A is Frank Gore Jr. at least being elevated for the game, or I guess Latavius Murray could still be an option. Otherwise you’re scrolling through other teams practice squads trying to find a guy for a game that’s in 4.5 days.
  2. Chris Simms talks about this all the time - you’re going to have to take calculated risks on defense. Of course crashing to stop the run can lead to too many people in the backfield and Henry getting into the second level with no one left to tackle him. Lamar is the 2nd rated passer against 2-high shell. So if the unwritten rule is we can’t take Taron Johnson off the field, then the only way to keep him on and get all three linebackers on the field is to play one high safety. Regardless of any scheme and WRs - Joe Marino has showed this over and over in his All-22’s - playing soft zone has been picked apart all year. Going to have to tighten up the cushion up and bank on Benford, Johnson and Douglas holding up. Also, when Damar is on the field, please stop with him blitzing - it’s really pathetic to watch him stop at the LOS because he can’t get through.
  3. Von will definitely play more this time around, no Spector is probably the biggest boost to the Bills defense. I mean this is it, like @SCBills said there aren't any excuses. At home, the defense is 100% healthy. It's as good as you're going to get. They have everyone at their disposal except Baylon Spector - and nobody wants to see him ever again on a football field for the Bills. Didn't join until the Colts game.
  4. Jones 63% snaps Oliver 72% snaps Johnson 12% snaps Carter 46% snaps Jones and Oliver must have been washed out in that game because neither one of them had a recorded statistic.
  5. Week 4 Inactives were: Taron Johnson Mike Edwards Terrel Bernard Edefaun Ulofoshio Will Clapp So - Quinton Jefferson wasn't on the team then, neither was Jordan Phillips. So my guess is that it was Jones, Oliver, Johnson and Carter.
  6. Joe Marino broke down All-22 clips where he anchored well against double teams and played to the correct leverage. Plus he ate snap count. DaQuan was only on the field in the 35% - 39% range.
  7. No Baylon Spector on the field is a big difference.
  8. Oh look another common fan with no credentials comes into a message board and starts trying to educate everyone on their team. Just like the Bengals fans who showed up here and now you never hear from them.
  9. The NFL is all about right now. Herbert was coming off 69-TDs and 9350 yards passing in 2020 and 2021. And there was some drop in production in 2022 with 4700 yards and 25-TDs. Who would it be today? Largely the same … Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow and then a huge group of dudes in the Playoffs - Goff, Stafford, Hurts, Stroud, Herbert. Then who? Daniels has turned around a moribund franchise in one year. Baker has had two huge years. If you want to drop Herbert out of this group of that group ok. Teams that would rather have Herbert than their starter: Bills - No Miami - Yes Jets - Yes New England - Yes Browns - Yes Ravens - No Bengals - No Steelers - Yes Colts - Yes Jaguars - Yes Titans - Yes Texans - No Chiefs - No Broncos - Yes Raiders - Yes Eagles - No Commanders - No Cowboys - Yes Giants - Yes Packers - Yes Lions - No Vikings - Yes Bears - Yes Rams - No Seahawks - Yes Cardinals - Yes 49ers - Yes Falcons - Yes Panthers - Yes Saints - Yes Bucs - Yes 22/31 other teams would probably take Herbert over their starter. If you want to argue to Bears with Caleb Williams, or the Falcons with Penix, or the Bucs with Mayfield fine, but he’s Top 10.
  10. I loved that play. In Buffalo we can’t have confidence. Our role is to put our head down, take what we’re given, get injured and go to the sideline, and instead he stepped over Surtain and shoved it in the Broncos face.
  11. Okay man. Thanks. Sorry it’s not the Dolphins and Snoop Huntley rolling in here next Sunday.
  12. It goes without saying that the Schopp and Bulldog post game is and will always be awful, but I was disappointed by Nate Geary who just fed into these ridiculous calls by people stating the Bills have zero chance against Baltimore.
  13. It’s the same story with Love - he throws a nice ball - but that offense operates with zero urgency.
  14. I would agree. Green Bay immediately got screwed over with the wrong call. They missed a FG. Lost two offensive lineman, two WRs, a couple of defenders. There is no creativity with either offense tonight. There is no artistry all.
  15. Projecting? Hey “Ya Digg” what does that even mean? Herbert didn’t play well, and he’s not generally been able to win big games (Chiefs, Playoff Jags choke, Playoff Texans). But I think Herbert has the arm, youth, and toughness to improve. They need to keep investing at WR like the Bills, of course they will. A lot of QBs escape criticism - Joe Burrow gets none despite two picks against KC in the 2022 AFCCG and not being able to move the ball at all in the 4th-Quarter, fumble TD against the Chiefs this year, late game picks against the Ravens and Eagles. It wasn’t until last year that Lamar got some whispers after the 2023 AFCCG.
  16. Yup - agree - they have milked that TOP as long as they can.
  17. I’ve said it from the beginning, I’m more than happy not using money to extend him.
  18. I think when the run is working this well you stay with it.
  19. That goal to go sequence by Brady was bad. Another predictable run on 1st down, and he runs again on 2nd? Put the Bills in a do or die 3rd down.
  20. Okay guys let’s not play extreme prevent
