  1. Scouting the Dolphins - Tua is a dump off artist, Captain Checkdown Part 2.0. So tackle effectively from 0-10 yards. The Dolphins have little run game. On Defense, their strength is the corners, so the Offensive Line must open holes in the run game and give Barkely protection to find the open man.
  2. I think the Bills should keep drafting WR and keep eyes peeled for potential deals. I largely agree here, and upgrading the skill position talent is a big reason for the jump in Allen and the offense in general. So I wouldn’t be “done” at WR, regardless of how this season plays out. From what I’ve seen, Davis has a nose for the end zone, but he’s a 4.52 WR who mostly ran go routes in college. We shouldn’t stop there trying to improve the WR group. And Isaiah Hodgins? Well he’s got speed issues too and has been hurt all year. I like the Bills pushing for Stills and Nelson. Draft another one, and draft a Tight End too.
  3. Cool, so let’s just have him generally comment on the growth of the defensive line throughout the year, very illuminating. I think it’s time to start asking if it’s season ending for Beasley.
  4. Beasley was a DNP all week, and once again our reporters don’t press their questions. Will Cole practice today? No he won’t. Then we move right on to a safe feelings question. How about - Hey Coach it’s been a four days now, what is Cole’s injury? On Tuesday you said you didn’t have the details, do you have details yet? Is it Season-Ending? Dude is our #2 WR and it’s non-chalant here.
  5. Because the organization ran like a Mom and Pop shop with things: Promote from Within Scanned a list of Names Cash to Cap Dust-Settler Free Agents Watch the tape and correct mistakes Sleeping when Free Agency starts Marketing guy as GM 70-year old scout as GM 80-year old former Coach as GM Running an outdated Tampa-2 defense with 225 pound linebackers Director of Scouting not living in Buffalo, allowed to keep living in Florida No-Stone unturned Coaching search that resulted in 5-days in Arizona Regionalization of the team by sticking games in Toronto. The Bills weren’t even in the league after Donahoe. They stopped trying completely.
  6. Me too, there just hasn’t been any information to go on, other than it’s not season ending ligament damage because McDermott talked about Beasley working with trainers and rehabbing. As we can see with Green Bay’s LT, if it was ACL, it would have been reported by now. Hopefully it’s a common knee strain and instead of 3-weeks, Beasley can push it and get back in 2-weeks.
  7. The Bills have found the type of WR that most-flourishes with Allen.
  8. What were the symptoms in the days after your injury occurred, because Beasley was quickly announced as week to week and is working with trainers now according to McDermott.
  9. It’s trending towards not a torn ligament as McDermott is talking about Beasley working with trainers in rehab. No way an ACL or something like that hasn’t been reported 3 days now after the game.
  10. In 2020 NFL if Beasley had done all that to his knee, it would have been reported by now and McDermott wouldn’t be talking about rehab.
  11. Good find, yes definitely a different interview. Yeah, you have to believe it’s not a torn ligament injury then. Hopefully it’s a normal strain.
  12. He did not mention Beasley’s injury the WGR interview, other than to say Stills has been a target for awhile. Just listened to it again. It was only a 9-minute interview.
  13. It’s because our media don’t know how to ask open ended questions. They continue to talk and fill in easy escape routes for the guest to take. Instead of asking what is the injury to Cole Beasley, they say something like Is Stills related to Cole’s injury or is it unrelated? So McDermott always takes the evasive, non commital route on the question because our media talk to much and fill with a bunch of and/or statements.
  14. Just listened to McDermotts WGR appearance and he didn’t say anything about Beasley. Only that Stills has been a target of Beane’s for awhile.
  15. It seems like the more time that goes on, without ACL, LCL, MCL or PCL reports, the better. The ligaments seems to be reported quickly - same or next day, Barkley, Bosa, Chubb, Whitworth, Bush, Dupree and so on. Hopefully just a sprained knee then.
  16. We seem to have a lot of medical degreed professionals commenting on this thread, what does a moderate meniscus injury mean? 3-weeks?
  17. Barkley was diagnosed that day with ACL, Chubb this year was confirmed by next day, Bosa was confirmed same day with ACL. We’re two days removed and word hasn’t gotten out about ligament damage? Meniscus I can see, but you’d think if it was season ending there would be something by now.
  18. That’s right, because the fan called in saying he was walking with a limp. Also, this doesn’t have to mean anything, but what were Allen’s comments today about then? About Beasley doing everything he can do to get back onto the field this week, and if not the week, then next?
  19. Yup, that changes it then. Not a foot strain or quad or anything like that. Now you just hope it’s a generic knee sprain and not a specific PCL or LCL tear.
  20. He runs a 4.52 and was a go-route player in college. The same applies now, he’ll have to work on his route running and suddenness.
  21. A veteran WR with some timed speed and some youth left (28 years old). He always seems to have some injury so I’m not sure how much of that 4.38 speed he has left.
  22. Awkward play, takes a large plant step on his leg leg, as his right leg is coming through his toe catches, he stumbles, then it appears his left heel gets stepped on from behind, it looks like there is where he lifts his foot up in a pain reaction. He goes to stand up, must push off his right knee and his left left/foot was folded under and not straight. McDermott says leg, not knee, Brown calls it a foot injury on OBL, but the trainers were looking at knee on the bench. No idea. If it’s meniscus you’d think that happened on the large plant step.
  23. Leg, and he doesn’t have “all the specifics to be honest with you”. The reporter asked him specifically what it was. Hopefully the reporters start to drill down on this, because on this Tuesday press conference they just dropped the subject quickly when McDermott said week to week and leg with no specifics.
