  1. Mike still a Ravens/Lamar apologist on the post-game. Allen brought it home, Lamar choked (again)
  2. 1-3 in Playoffs after that choke job. 196 yards and a pick-6.
  3. Nick deserved it, he bashed Allen all year, every chance he could he brought up Houston. He took shots at the Bills all year. Took Lamar over Allen. HOWS THAT TASTE NICK?
  4. Hats off to those guys. They played a hard offense and more often than not they got off the field. And TJ made the play of the year for the Bills.
  5. How’s it taste Nick? All the media that were on Lamar all week, how’s that taste!?
  6. I don’t know what that means, like how are you not ready to play? I can see a trending down where say Ben’s arm is tired, teams have dissected how to beat your schemes, how injuries have taken their toll. But “not ready to play”? Did you need an extra motivational speech? What if you just got beat?
  7. Last year the staff made an obvious mistake not activating Yeldon for Gore. Yeldon can catch the ball. So can Singletary. When the Bills go 4-wide, a back would be an option. The other thing is, I expect McKenzie to get a few touches this week after nothing last week.
  8. Lamar is being lauded for his outstanding Titans performance. Electrifying, outstanding, dynamic, all those words getting thrown out there. In the end? 315 total yards, 1 TD, 1 Int. And his defense held the bar at 13 total points to clear. Allen was 324 Passing, 54 Rushing and 3 TDs. Lamar is awesome for the Ravens style and system, but other than the rushing yardage, there is nothing he is doing that beats out the other top QBs in this league. He is not rewriting history books. He's not. And we're a little too early in a QB's life cycle to only look at his win-loss record and conclude it will stay that way forever. The pundits thought Seattle was going to be a dynasty.
  9. He's a very good QB in terms of combined production passing and rushing. 2018 75.1 ypg passing, 43.4 ypg rushing, 118.5 total yards per game, 11 Total TDs in 7 games. 2019 208.5 ypg passing, 80.4 ypg rushing, 288.9 total yards per game, 43 Total TD's 2020 183.8 ypg passing, 67.0 ypg rushing, 250.4 total yards per game, 33 Total TD's. So he is a Top 10 QB. But yards are yards, touchdowns are touchdowns, Rodgers had 51 TDs this year combined (and 5 Interceptions!), Allen had 45 TDs, Brady had 43, Wilson had 42, Herbert had 36, Mahomes had 40 and 309 ypg passing. So he's not putting up historical numbers other than rushing yards specifically.
  10. Because of the creativity shown in the Bills offense. The statue of liberty play in Denver, the Allen catch for TD in Arizona, last week's Knox TD, Beasley's trick throw TD. Also, the Bills got 4 primetime games in a row and smashed everyone with points. This is no different than Gase getting the Miami job based on his work with Manning in Denver. Teams see a great offense, and want to mimic that. But point taken, Allen works relentlessly on his game, Beane has said this from the very beginning. They give Allen an offseason improvement plan, and he goes to work. Additionally, the external work with Palmer, and the separate workouts with his WRs is working.
  11. Keep throwing on the Ravens. Their corners grab, hold, clutch and hand fight down the entire field. Keep your nerve and keep throwing. Spread them out as far as possible, 4-wide with Singletary, 5-wide, someone will be open. The Ravens have one dangerous WR with game changing speed. We have a top flight corner and a turnover weapon. Stick White on Brown, this makes it easier on broken scramble plays to not get caught in switches and handoffs.
  12. The NFL isn’t glamorous man unless you win it all. You’re in the office 18-hours a day, sleeping on couches, eating pizza out of the box, grinding, studying tape relentlessly. Meyer has turned around every team he’s been on, but you have to wonder if he’s really going to outscheme the veteran coaches in the league.
  13. Ben also doesn’t train or lift weights or work out. Jay Glazer, who is never wrong, said Ben’s idea of a great offseason workout program is a yoga session, golf and beer. Allen is going to run less as his career goes on. No reason he couldn’t get there.
  14. It's why Mahomes and Rodgers are the gold standard right now (and Brady had a massive year too). Mahomes, another year with 5,000+ yards of production, 40 total TDs, 309 ypg passing. Rodgers had 51 combined TDs this year, 5 interceptions. FIVE. So Lamar is one of several high end QBs in this league, and is among the best when passing is combined with the running, but other than rushing yards, he's not doing things or hitting milestones that have never been achieved.
  15. It's still the Draft. Schopp coveted Lamar Jackson at Louisville, and obviously did not believe in Allen because of the limited production at Wyoming. So 3 years later, it's Lamar with an MVP and a guy who has 81.8% winning percentage, and Allen has one elite year. And you're going to get the same narrative from Schopp. He liked Jackson more from the start.
  16. Lamar is a good QB, but in the end, he isn't 2x the QB as any other top flight QB. 2018 118.5 combined yards per game, 11 total TDs. 2019 288.9 combined yards per game, 43 total TDs 2020 250.4 combined yards per game, 33 total TDs So 2019 he was an elite QB in terms of production, and 2020 he's a solidly good QB in terms of production. But yards are yards and he's not heads and shoulders above Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen, Herbert or any other high upside thrower.
  17. All people mean is JK Dobbins instead of Mark Ingram. Did the Ravens OLine get much better in 2019 verses 2020?
  18. Time to call up Stills, get in 4-wide/RB, 5-wide empty and throw on the Ravens. This is going to be on Josh. We don't have a great running game to fall back on, don't have a great defense to fall back on.
  19. This Coaching staff has routinely showed it favors old, slow, plodding, veteran running backs from 2017 on. Tolbert, Ivory, Gore and Freeman is this. Guys way past their prime.
  20. Greg Cosell said that Tua has lost arm strength since the hip injury.
  21. What were those players watching? They didn't see the jaw dropping athleticism, or the cannon arm? Weird, but I thought the Dolphins had it all buttoned up? Thought Flores was an amazing Coach? Strange.
