Bills lost the game in the red zone
Straight Hucklebuck replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills lost the game on an unimaginative play call on 4th-1 from the 2-yard line. -

I didn’t go back and watch the length of the throws, but Allen underthrew a WR in KC last week on a bomb (resulting in the roughing call) and badly underthrew two more bombs this week? I know on his Pro Day he threw an 80-yard pass, but some wobbly balls today not maximum length. -

I don’t think Jeremy White has a deep reservoir of useful insights, but the giant-people 4th-1 sneak there was a strange decision to me. Go for the win, I get it. But why not just run a final play? -

Well you could see early on this game was trending towards a shootout and I’m not blaming Allen. He played his guts out and that airborne run was incredible, giving it all he had there. He willed the ball down the field and put the team on his back. I just thought the Coaches outsmarted themselves, getting into that formation making it easy for the Titans to key in, instead of simply running a play that gave Allen maximum options especially considering there was only 22 seconds left, you’re on the 2 yard line so why are you playing for a yard there instead of getting a ball into the end zone? -

Well they’re like put the ball in Allen’s hands, but it’s like then have him run a play where he can throw or run, because the play before he gets you 6 yards. How many times has Allen scrambled for a touchdown that close? -
It’s a big deal and the Bills are now behind with two Conference losses.

No idea why the Bills coaches decided to make the game about getting a first down there? Why are they playing for 1-yard? When you’re on the 2-yard line? Run any normal play where Allen has the option to run or pass to players in the end zone. That bailed the Titans out. Allen played his guts out. -
We need to ease off on other fans' misery.

I agree with others that it’s young to go on other teams boards and trash talk their team. But inside, at your house, if you get loud and feel good that for once your team is awesome? Yeah, I don’t feel bad about that. I don’t feel bad for Belichick when he slams his phone, or Mahomes when he has a 1,000 yard stare or watching bandwagon Seahawks, Patriots, Chiefs fans leave early as their teams are being blown out. -

Give me a freaking break. Patriots won six freaking Super Bowls. Boston fans are among the most arrogant, entitled fans in this country. So no, I am not going to be told to feel sorry for them. This is our time. OUR TIME. OH and the Chiefs? Maybe they used to be humble, but video of Buffalo fans who went to Arrowhead and they're saying Buffalo doesn't belong on the same field, Buffalo lost 4x Super Bowls. Me feel bad for Patrick and Brittany Mahomes? No. -
I'm not going to go around and pretend I hand scouted Josh Allen and convinced Bills Leadership to draft him simply because I happened to be born next to Buffalo, New York. Arrogant media and other teams fans (Chiefs, Patriots) act like they were in Draft room, or they convinced Free Agents to sign. So long way of saying, no. I'm not going to become an obnoxious fan that thinks he's better than other fans.

I just don't know where they turn for any kind of scoring. I mean they ask Paul Hamilton who you should get excited about, and the answer is always the same Dylan Cozens. He had 4 goals in 41 games last year. Cole Caufield was a scoring machine and fell in that same Draft, he had4 goals in 10 games, and a boatload more in the Playoffs. Middelstadt is suddenly going to explode? Skinner is a 40-goal guy again? It's slim slim pickings, and the Sabres keep winning the lottery when there is a Franchise Defenseman at #1 overall in the Draft, no Crosby, no McDavid, no Matthews type player.

According to Mike Schopp Collinsworth was great Sunday Night and there is no bias. I don't know, when you listen to him it was like he was willing the Chiefs to make a comeback, "now we're in Arrowhead". Every flag on the Bills was "is this the spark" the Chiefs needed. It wasn't as bad as San Francisco MNF last year. That was insanely tilted towards the 49ers.

Hyde signed March 9th 2017. Poyer signed March 9th 2017. Doug Whaley relieved of duty on April 30th 2017. Beane hired as GM on May 9th 2017.
-
Even though Whaley was the GM for Hyde and Poyer. Paup only played 3-years here though. This is Hyde and Poyer’s 5th season here.

Ted Washington was pretty good. Takeo Spikes and London Fletcher were great for us too. Bills management thought Fletcher was done at 31 and let him walk.

Get right back on Nick Wright's Upset Alert like usual and things back to normal.

We saw this last year with Isaiah McKenzie. Big game last season to end the year against Miami, then disappeared for the Playoffs. There is no reason for the Bills to alienate Beasley. He'll be needed in this offense as the year goes on. I'm not sure what he could be mad about. He had 11 balls for 99 yards two games ago, and he averages 5.2 catches per game this season, verses 2.83 catches/game career before arriving in Buffalo.

Chiefs Message Board- Hilarious!!!
Straight Hucklebuck replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
That was their entire offense. Kelce - Mahomes - Hill - Hardman - Helaire - Pringle - Gordon Fans act like they personally scouted every player on the team, convinced the owner to draft them. You're a regular person, from around the Kansas City area, who happens to root for the team in the era where they've gotten good. -
Why? With Hauschka we were limited to <45 yard Field Goals, and he was struggling to get those there.
-
Honestly I never had the drop thing that so many fans had. I just think that historically, the Buffalo Bills have never shown they value the position. They have not invested in it or incorporated it in the game plan, until now. I bemoaned more of their forever view, that we needed slow Tight Ends that specialized in blocking. When Knox ran a 4.59 at his Pro Day at 6'4", you knew he had athletic ability.

Per Nick Wright: Bills will be a fringe contender.

It was typical segment, all about the Chiefs and what do they need to correct, where will they be seeded in the Playoffs, talked again about last years games. -

We’ll be on upset alert against Miami later this season because of Miami’s great defense.
