  1. Tua looks small on the field. When he has to throw with more power, he has to arch back and the ball floats. For me, you don’t go into the game fearing his upside, and certainly not when I think he has to match points with Josh Allen.
  2. He would add something this team doesn’t have, even at 34. Stevenson is not as fast as Jackson and will not be activated this year. If the Bills don’t sign him, watch him go to Green Bay, as they are desperate for WR’s.
  3. When is this team ever going to use the 1990’s throwbacks?
  4. We did it with EJ Manuel as a rookie, going with undrafted rookie free agent Jeff Tuel and a first time OC who also doubled as the QB Coach in Nate Hackett.
  5. Yes, the Buffalo public meeting, as productive as past public meetings when residents tried to keep an abandoned factory from being demolished because their Grandpa worked there in the 1940’s, how the waterfront needs to be home of a new Seneca Native American Museum, old people holding “no new taxes” signs. Ought to be super productive.
  6. I hope the Bills continue to add to this offense by drafting skill players. There are times where Diggs disappears, and it’s handy to have Sanders able to step in. I don’t have any problem if the Coaching Staff mixes more of Gabe Davis in at the expense of Beasley. Bills still miss some speed/size element to their receiving group.
  7. My takeaways from the game: 1. It was surprising to see that we got zero pass rush. Addison would always try to knife inside and get swallowed. 2. I watched Milano on plays and he was in no man’s land. He had zero impact. 3. The Bills went right back to playing 10 yards off WRs after tightening verses the Chiefs. Why do they do that?
  8. Doesn't look like he'll ever be an elite disrupter. He's okay, occasionally flashes, but is not a physical mismatch at this level.
  9. What bothered me was this notion post-game that we did not want to get into an Overtime game with Tennessee. We kick that Field Goal there and its 34-34 and we're a coin flip away from Allen getting the ball again with a chance to score a Touchdown and end that thing. Tennessee wasn't stopping the Bills offense either.
  10. And it in the end none of that matters if the Bills covert from the 2-yard line or kick a FG to tie and send to OT.
  11. Despite all the investment in the Defensive Line, we have 0 pass rush. So sure, sign him.
  12. You're not scoring on that 4th-1 sneak. The Bills were at the 2 yard line.
  13. A regular play gives you all the options, players in the end zone for the go ahead touchdown, or Allen can read and run. At best with the sneak you pick up the yard, then have to stop the clock and get into the end zone anyways.
  14. People blame Josh for that? Our offensive line is hot garbage.
  15. Questions to ponder for me: 1. Can the Bills make a trade to help this Offensive Line? 2. Can the Bills do anything to generate a real pass rush? 3. We play the Chiefs and line up 3-yards off their WRs. Yesterday we’re back to playing 8-10 yards off again? Why?
  16. It was the wrong call. Bills have one timeout and 22 seconds left. Getting 1-yard there sets up first and goal and either a spike or timeout. But then what would have followed are throws into the endzone, which is what I wanted to see before we ran the sneak on 4th-1. Why not just run a regular play where Allen has option to run or pass? Either way, Allen played his guts out for the Bills and I think the Coaching Staff let him down here.
  17. Yes we have a pedestrian offensive line. I said after the Steelers game that the line was going to pop up again as a problem and it did again last night. Allen escapes a lot.
  18. I think we’ve seen that the offense still scores in the 30’s with a bit more running thrown in. The Bills don’t go wild trying to run, and after running three times on second down in the first half, the offense stabilized and still scored.
  19. The Bills lost the game on an unimaginative play call on 4th-1 from the 2-yard line.
  20. I didn’t go back and watch the length of the throws, but Allen underthrew a WR in KC last week on a bomb (resulting in the roughing call) and badly underthrew two more bombs this week? I know on his Pro Day he threw an 80-yard pass, but some wobbly balls today not maximum length.
  21. I don’t think Jeremy White has a deep reservoir of useful insights, but the giant-people 4th-1 sneak there was a strange decision to me. Go for the win, I get it. But why not just run a final play?
  22. Well you could see early on this game was trending towards a shootout and I’m not blaming Allen. He played his guts out and that airborne run was incredible, giving it all he had there. He willed the ball down the field and put the team on his back. I just thought the Coaches outsmarted themselves, getting into that formation making it easy for the Titans to key in, instead of simply running a play that gave Allen maximum options especially considering there was only 22 seconds left, you’re on the 2 yard line so why are you playing for a yard there instead of getting a ball into the end zone?
  23. Well they’re like put the ball in Allen’s hands, but it’s like then have him run a play where he can throw or run, because the play before he gets you 6 yards. How many times has Allen scrambled for a touchdown that close?
  24. Our defense does not get the QB on the ground. The pass rush almost gets there, but tonight Tannehill was not roughed up. He wasn’t sacked despite losing his LT.
