  1. Coach up Tommy Doyle is all I can think. He fits the mold of a Guard right? 6’8”?
  2. I just think all this #1 seed crap, Super Bowl contender stuff, Josh MVP case can all sit for awhile. Win like 6 games in a row and then we can start talking about that stuff again.
  3. I don't understand it. It's like we can't hit him on a slant? This happens all the time in this league, DK Metcalf going for 80-yards on the first play and then only getting one catch the rest of the game. I don't understand how an OC doesn't try to get the star WR the ball when half the quarter goes by and he still hasn't touched the ball. Or Allen for that matter. Change the play at the line and make it happen.
  4. The needs are the same as they were after Kansas City. 1. Our Offensive Line is poor. And about every other game now this rears its ugly head and we get exposed. WGR has pushed this narrative that nobody could replicate what Pittsburgh did, and we can throw that away now. We're not that talented to begin with, and our depth clearly stinks. 2. We have no physical mismatches without Knox. No speed, no size. Just catch and fall down. Our backs are slow. Our WRs are small. Speed was a weakness after the AFCCG and it still is. 3. Daboll has taken Isaiah McKenzie out of the office since the last game of the 2020 season, and Gabe Davis is nowhere to be found. Sweeney is treated as a 1 for 1 fill in for Knox and that hasn't worked out, he runs a very Derek-Finelike 4.95 40 yard dash. We don't utilize play action, or motion, or jet sweeps. It's all static shotgun.
  5. And our team just looks small again. Small WRs who aren't fast. Small WRs who don't break passes. Slow Running Backs who immediately get tackled. Too many running back screens trying to substitute for a run game because McDermott is pushing that again (barf - the Bills looked into Adrian Peterson). Where are the jet sweeps, the motion, Isaiah McKenzie, where is Gabe Davis?
  6. Well I think something that is clear is we need a physical mismatch on the outside. We are back to the smurf Wide Receivers who can't separate. WGR talks about the deep ball, we haven't had a deep ball since 2018 with Robert Foster.
  7. The run up to the line and try to draw them Offside on 3rd-short is getting old.
  8. We said this all offseason, but despite Singletary working out more, and Zack Moss healthy enough to run, there is no playmaking. Diggs disappears for too long in these games this season.
  9. This franchise has neglected Tight End forever. Scott Chandler is the best Tight End we've had since 2000. Knox has the athleticism, but I agree, there is nothing behind him. McDermott tells you how important guys like Reggie Gilliam are, but he's not big enough to be a Tight End as a receiver or a blocker, and he's not powerful enough to be a fullback. We have players like that around the edges of the roster. In terms of offensive line, we are down to scraping people off Practice Squads.
  10. I'm worried in Sean McDermott is getting more involved on the offensive side of the ball.
  11. The Bills can't do any better than no targets for Diggs the entire 3rd quarter, 3 targets in the entire first half? Isaiah McKenzie 2 catches? No, instead we need more Zack Moss.
  12. The problem is the Offensive Line is not going to get any better at the Guard positions. All we have is Spencer Brown returning at RT and that allows Daryl Williams to move inside. But our depth is poor, and the starting talent is poor.
  13. I agree, clearly our scouting group has to get better on the Offensive Line and Defensive Line. Despite all the investment on the defensive line, they don't get home often enough. The secondary is the strength of our unit. And the offensive line, Ford was a bust from the first Training Camp reports about the staff moving him back and forth from Guard to Tackle. It's not the injuries, he never was good. And Daryl Williams? Shredded his knee in Carolina and it looks like it now. In terms of the WRs, this is why when Beasley complains I just shrug my shoulders. You can't gameplan around a 32 year old slot guy who averages 10 yards per catch. When the Bills lost Knox, it looks like they have no physical mismatches anywhere on the field. No Isaiah McKenzie. Instead of dumping off to 4.7 Running Backs, can we use the guy who runs a 4.43?
  14. Somewhere we’ve become obsessed with dumping the ball off to running backs.
  15. That’s the old McDermott Bills. Mike Tolbert, Chris Ivory, Frank Gore were all too old, and Adrian Peterson is beyond too old.
  16. It just means Buffalo has to get it done this year. We all knew Daboll wasn't going to survive another round of Coaching Hires if this team continued to play offense the way it has.
  17. Listening to Sal Cappacio make a bunch of excuses for the Bills not making a move at the deadline. Saying nobody knows what Guard was available, and at what price. This team is taking a gamble with this offensive line, it’s been poor all season, and I’m to believe that nothing was available? Also, we don’t have top end speed at WR, and Diggs isn’t that kind of game breaker, so our offense with have a deep cap.
  18. I routinely think where is Diggs at most games this year. He disappears for long stretches.
  19. Two touchdowns, two-two point conversions and the Dolphins can tie by on-side kick. Bills convert the 2-Point conversion and now its a 3-score game.
  20. It’s a good point, I agree, the book is not written on Johnson. He has the size.
  21. I was wrong about that trade, as I didn’t like the idea of losing depth for a 6th Rounder. But he clearly couldn’t crack the lineup here or in Carolina and multiple Bills DLineman are inactive each week.
  22. They have the best Quarterback ever, and plenty of firepower offensively. They are a force to reckoned with.
