  1. Good luck with that organization. It's Cleveland level chaotic with firings.
  2. What are you thinking he has? What injury puts someone in that kind of pain, but then would be ok to play on 6-days later? And if he is a DNP on Friday, then wonder why McDermott said he was day to day other than deception to Chiefs.
  3. All I can hope is the coaches have a quick hook for Bishop. He needs to be able to do more than play 40-yards down the field keeping plays in front of him.
  4. Yeah - it bothers me - he didn’t have to do that either. Milano, Douglas and Hamlin were already in on the tackle. And he comes flying in late to blow the play up and ends up hurting himself and he only hits Hamlin directly in the chest. Another friendly fire shot added to his resume here. He is a striker and is great against the run.
  5. Benford has today and tomorrow. I cant imagine Taron Johnson not going with a harness. What’s concerning to me is this coaching staff putting him out there as the primary backup. They need a veteran back there. Getting reps for a rookie is not important. The Chiefs are going to find him, all I can hope is Babich and McDermott have a quick hook for him.
  6. He got torched late in that game by Tyrod Taylor for a TD where the Tight End ran right past him. Lost the Tight End by at least 5-yards.
  7. Yeah that’s what I see too. Go back and watch the 2nd Jets game, the Texans game, at Detroit, Playoff Ravens. They’re trying to keep it very simple for him, he bails out of snaps and just runs backwards. They’re just trying to keep everything in front of him. But he still acts lost most of the time, there are no anticipation tackles, he doesn’t close, there is too much space, he’s late, he doesn’t get off blocks well and just in general is not a violent player. I’d rather see Cam Lewis out there, because I know he can cover. Bishop’s speed is negated by his tentative play and him playing so far back.
  8. Yeah I would think with Friday and Saturday yet to go and how much he's running, I think it looks good for him to get cleared.
  9. When I watch back the games he plays, I think the coaches have tried to make it easy for him. He plays so far back so that the plays are always in front of him. But even with that advantage he still gets lost in coverage. I haven’t seen him do anything other than mop up tackle this season.
  10. Cam Lewis vs. Cole Bishop is a no-brainer to me. OVERALL GRADE 60.4 AVG 106th/170 SS PASS RUSH GRADE 62.5 AVG 39th/170 SS RUN DEFENSE GRADE 52.0 AVG 151st/170 SS COVERAGE GRADE 61.6 AVG 77th/170 SS
  11. Bishop has not made 1 play that I can think of other than a pass deflection against the Dolphins and a tackle at the line of scrimmage against the Lions. OVERALL GRADE 49.6 AVG 150th/170 Ss PASS RUSH GRADE 85.7 AVG 4th/170 SS RUN DEFENSE GRADE 57.7 AVG 142nd/170 SS COVERAGE GRADE 45.7 AVG 143rd/170 SS Just not a good safety at all.
  12. Can't we just put Cam Lewis back there instead?
  13. Benford is out there is a red non-contact but running around without restriction. No Rapp. Milano practicing. Dawkins back as well. It's trending towards everyone but Rapp.
  14. Looking at the KC weather - one day later its 40 and 50 degrees there during the day. Still - low 30's/high 20's and clear is going to be fine. Practice is usually around 1:00 PM, so you'll start seeing the Twitter reports from practice from Capaccio, Brasky, Parrino, Buscaglia. If Rapp is out there at all we'll know about it. And hopefully Dawkins was a precaution. He sounded and played fine in his mic'd up Ravens.
  15. I think it will look the same today, Benford limited, Milano limited, Rapp DNP. We have to hope Dawkins is back at practice - at least limited. If Rapp manages a Limited, my confidence goes up.
  16. The Chiefs can play that death by 1,000 papercuts style of passing game. I think every time they choose Kareem Hunt and Isaiah Pacheco it is a win for the Bills defense.
  17. Against KC he played 38% of snaps and had 1-sack.
  18. Solomon, Jefferson, Epenesa out there as the primary rushers on the Ravens last 3-plays can’t happen against the Chiefs. That was not smart and the rush 3, drop 8, cost them with chunk plays against. Marino showed the difference when the Bills were aggressive compared to when they went into their prevent shell. Von needs to be out there, Rousseau has been 80+%, but also Oliver.
  19. Johnson - no concern - he's going to be out there. It's Rapp for me. That's the concern because he is the Bills enforcer on the backend. Cole Bishop - the only responsibility that coaching staff gives him is to give space, keep everything in front of you, and tackle. With Rapp what you notice is the run plays and short passes, he crashes the play, he takes away space faster, is a stronger tackler.
  20. We've all said it - Von has to get the snap count up. Without the Ravens-level threat of the run for the Chiefs, Von needs that snap count to go to where it was against Denver 50% -> 29% -> 50+% please. Oliver needs to be a demon against Caliendo.
  21. Milano wasn't back, Spencer Brown had the ankle, Kincaid had the knee and Coleman was out with the wrist.
  22. Yeah I could sense the shift in confidence yesterday on the radio. Sal is talking about this “maybe” being the year the Bills breakthrough. I think injuries are playing into this. Last year before the Dolphins game in Week 18 the Bills had finally gotten back to 100% health minus Milano. Then that game Douglas, Dodson, Rapp, Gabe Davis all get injured. The next week the Bills lose Benford, Bernard, Spector. So you limp into the Chiefs game with multiple starters out and Douglas playing on a torn MCL. This time around it is looking like Benford, Milano, Dawkins will all go and the team might be down just Rapp. I think we’re better than the Chiefs. They looked sluggish against the Texans. 3-weeks to prepare and couldn’t move the ball. The Texans left 7-points worth of kicks on the field and took 8-sacks. I think we’ll feel better Friday when we know Milano, Dawkins, Benford are all going to play. This Bills are going to have to mask Cole Bishop. I’d trust Cam Lewis more in this spot.
  23. I’d be there. You saw what it might be like when Cleveland won the 2016 NBA Title.
  24. You have to be able to beat Jawaan Taylor. 7-sacks allowed, 17 penalties. Mike Caliendo is rated 114/145 Guards by PFF. Humphrey and Smith are elite. Which means someone is going to have to get around Joe Thuney. I think it’s time for Von to actually get a large snap share. We need him. It can’t be a game like last week and the final 3-snaps Javon Solomon is out there getting sealed off inside and pushed past Lamar. He can’t be out there. Rousseau will be out there at 80%, I believe in him.
