  1. Problem is two fold - 1. Knox is being paid as a starter and has been capped by Kincaid having to play 2. Kincaid has not been the playmaker he was billed - you can find a Tight End to do what he does - and he is a mediocre blocker on top of it. The average Kincaid game over 29-games is 3.5 catches for 38 yards.
  2. Find a way to package Coleman or Kincaid as part of a DK Metcalf trade and get them out of here ASAP.
  3. Injured ✔️ Past his prime - ✔️ Cheap - ✔️ But.....Josh Allen likes him...... Brandon Beane loves these kind of guys
  4. What's that? Running the ball all the time?
  5. I think he's still a good player, and showed much more than Amari Cooper did.
  6. Oh there has been a constant parade of low end Free Agents here - we all know the names.
  7. So Epenesa, Rousseau, Miller (Boogie Basham) are now DTs? 2018 - Harrison Phillips (3rd) 2019 - Ed Oliver (1st) 2020 - None 2021 - None 2022 - None 2023 - None 2024 - Dewayne Carter (3rd) 55 Picks in the Beane era, 3/55, 5.4% have gone to DT.
  8. Beasley was 30 years old when the Bills got him, and John Brown was 29. So was it really shocking that Beasley dropped off at 32? He was out of the league in his age 33 season. And in a vacuum you might be right about getting a defensive playmaker - Garrett, Hendrickson or Crosby - working against the Bills is cap space, right now they sit at 29th - and they're now picking 30th in every round - so what kind of package is it going to take to convince the Browns, Bengals or Raiders to trade with an AFC rival over the Washington, Chicago, Arizona? Garrett needs a new deal. Crosby is $23M cash in 2025 and ~$20M cash in 2026. Hendrickson has 35-sacks in the last two seasons, and he wants a new deal now - maybe you can talk him into mid-high $20's? So, these are nice ideas, but can the Bills do this? And if they do - is Beane comfortable not re-signing Cook, Bernard, Benford, Rousseau? Because that's not how the team has operated. Let alone replace Amari Cooper, bring back Hollins and Ty Johnson. Unless Shakir is the #1 and we're back filling the room with rookies around him? How are the Bills going to afford $18M - $20M a year for Rousseau, and $25M - $30M for a premier pass rusher? The Bills can make one more run with Rousseau in 2025, and franchise tag him in 2026, so maybe an extension is not necessary. You'd probably have to hold on Benford as well because his AAY is now $20M too - money and concussions. I think Joe Marino has said if the Bills pull all the levers they can they can open $76M in cap space. Mike Ginniti of Spotrac has said he doesn't see the Bills realistically being able to outbid teams for Garrett and Crosby.
  9. Beane has skimped on DT for years and it bit the Bills again. The athletic disadvantage at Safety during the Ravens and Chiefs games was a problem. #2 corner has been a consistent thorn in the side going back Levi Wallace, compounded by Tre White's injuries and Elam being a bust. And ever since Von, Rousseau, Epenesa and Basham this team has been weak at DE as well. But WR has also been underwhelming in terms of the investment this GM has put towards the position. No need to rehash the names, but 8 WRs drafted in 7 years, average selection is 5th Round. And we know the Free Agents - Beasley was good for two seasons, John Brown was good for one season, and so Beane largely hangs his hat on the Stefon Diggs trade.
  10. How are the Bills supposed to afford two $30M contracts - let alone outbid the rest of the league with the resources it would take to acquire both?
  11. I think we’re getting too comfortable with this idea the offense is good to go, just run it back. WR1 is a hole on this team, WR2 is a problem as well. The defense was a sieve against Baltimore and Kansas City. But as bad as the defense played - they turned over the Chiefs on the botched snap, and then forced two punts in the second half. And that’s where that game looked like all the Bills Playoffs losses - Allen with nowhere to go with the ball, no playmakers. Amari Cooper was closer to 4.72 than the 4.42 he ran in 2015. Offensive team speed is a problem - has been the entire Josh Allen career.
  12. I hope the Bills don’t see Safety as all good to go. Rapp is the Bills enforcer, but two straight post seasons he’s been hurt. Cole “Lost in Space Bishop”, Hamlin is a FA, and Cam Lewis. No playmaking, no speed (Bishop’s 4.45 was not evident on the field). Bills to get two new starters back there with some ball hawking skills, size, speed, feel for the game. Rapp is physical in the run game, and that’s about all this group has going for it right now.
  13. Da’Quan Felton is a Beane type player.
  14. Seeing the first round of 40’s: Jimmy Horn Jr and Andrew Armstrong fit Beane’s usual types.
  15. Beane has drafted two types of WRs in his 7-years as GM. So if he sticks to his book it will be an Xavier Restrepo or Jayden Higgins.
  16. It’s hard for running backs to break 4.40. Most live in that 4.45 - 4.55 range. Even Henderson was 4.43 - 4.45. Hampton in the upper 4.40’s, Johnson right at 4.60.
  17. Gosh get Spade out of here. Judkins has great numbers.
  18. He went for broke by getting Stefon Diggs? I see above you ripped someone else saying that the Bills have already tried to load up at WR. I guess that means 29-year old John Brown (gave the Bills one big season) and 30-year old Cole Beasley (gave the Bills two big seasons) and trading for Diggs. Because you don't mean Emmanuel Sanders being talked out of retirement to be the #2 in 2021, Jamison Crowder, Deonty Harty, Trent Sherfield, Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollins? Maybe you think Ray Ray McCloud (6th), Austin Proehl (7th), Gabe Davis (4th), Isaiah Hodgins (6th), Marquez Stevenson (6th), Khalil Shakir (5th), Justin Shorter (5th), Keon Coleman (2nd) represents significant investment? I don't think there is much evidence that the Bills FO views getting WRs for Allen as the path to victory. I think most of these Playoff games Allen goes in there struggling to make plays mostly because he has mediocre weapons. He generally has played really well, but he has to overcome a leaky defense, and being out-athleted.
  19. Yup - any combination of Coleman/Kincaid being traded for Metcalf - I'd do that.
  20. You’re not allowed to say something like this. As Allen turns 29 for this up coming season, there should be a feeling of it’s now or never for this coach and this front office. But the theme of this offseason has largely been Beane and McDermott are fine as is, don’t change anything, we’re close. The GM says it, the Coach says it, a good percentage of the fans say it. Based on Beane’s comments I expect the plan to stay the same - the Bills will extend, re-sign their own, and fill in with low cost FAs. Means they have to draft better.
