Well so isn't Aaron Schoebel. But i see Chris Kelsay too not in terms of style of play but body type. Both extremely tall DE both over 6'4, both play around 260 pounds, and most importantly they both seem to have that freakish arm span
Then we have a predicament on our hand... With McCarron and whoever the Rookie is. Do we trade McCarron/ let him go and hope we were right on the draft pick? Or do we just keep a top 5 rookie QB on the bench. Siemien is just a better fit for what we are trying to do. To be honest... I want our rookie QB to start day 1 and just have an experienced backup at the ready.
Sure he does but for a guy that will only start a handful of games tops... Potential doesn't matter that much. The rookie will have all the potential. Plus one will be about 6-8 million dollars cheaper... At least.
Im extremely interested. For just a gap starter/mentor who would you rather have... Sam Bradford at 20 million or Trevor Siemien at 1 million. For the role we are asking Trevor makes a ton more sense when you factor in price.
So apparently I heard from a Redskins fan that he was an 3-4 OLB his first two years and was labeled a bust. After that they took away his starting spot and moved him to a situational pass rusher as a 3-4 DE. That's was his 9 sack season. So it sounds like he had issues in the 3-4 and going to the 4-3 he can really fit in nicely.
He has to be cut... They are desperate to get under cap and they just resigned someone. If teams are patient they can just wait until he is cut. Just hope someone doesn't make a dumb move and trade for him
