Why is Deonte Thompson still active? All he has done this season is drop crucial passes.

It's odd. Seems like he is polar opposite of what he was in college. He was a guy who never dropped balls and what up and made tremendous grabs. Not sure what happened to that... Sure he was going against weaker competition but that doesn't explain why all of a sudden he struggled to catch footballs. But I'm thinking Thompson is really holding this WR core back. Stealing time from Foster and McKenzie and dropping big balls in crucial situations. Deonte just is not the same player he was just last year. He needs to be let go.

Ya exactly... That's what I'm saying. It was a mistimed. You had to make that block before he became enganged. Then it's just a legal block. I wouldn't call it dirty unless he just came up behind a player and dove at his legs for no reason. Where there he was trying to make a legal block but he just happened to be enganged at the time.

I mean it was mistimed. He was supposed to dive before he got engaged but was to late. Also atleast that was properly flagged unlike the dirty blindside block on our Kicker.

Well he was a decent starter for Vikings. Then he got hurt. It's not like he is some guy who was a backup his entire career. One thing for sure is he definitely should have a roster spot because of versatility. If someone gets hurt he can go in and play anywhere.

Well Foster is listed as a starter on depth chart. Gonna be interested to see who starts in Slot. Gotta imagine our lineup will look like this. SE: Zay Jones FL: Robert Foster SL: ??? Maybe McKenzie Sirles I think did play some RT for us a couple games ago and looked really good there. I would like to get Sirles some work there with Mills being a free agent at the end of the year.

Dawkins isn't moving to Guard... Not happening. He is still a young player and having to switch position will hinder his growth. He may switch to RT but I doubt it. And I think Ju'waun James will be a more realistic aquistion. Be able to steal a solid linemen from a division rival would be huge. Helps fill a need of ours and open up a hole for them. Plus it will be cheaper on us and we would be able to add more in free agency.

When we drafted him I always thought that Split End was is most natural position. But we have always had to put him in as a Flanker or slot do to not having anyone to fill those positions and Benjamin was a split end as well.
