  1. These hits should not be illegal. If the tackler doesn't wanna get blocked then he should pay attention to where he is running and not just staring at the ball carrier. It's as simple as that. And that last one they used as an example isn't even blindside. That block was directly in front of him
  2. If Whaley let his hair get longer and greelw out a beard they'd be identical
  3. Name sounds so familiar. I'm guessing bi know it from his Louisville days
  4. So Felciano would be a backup?
  5. So no new team yet? Did AB lie? Situation keeps getting weirder and weirder. Seems like an attention ploy
  6. How can you sign someone who is franchised tagged? That doesn't make any sense.
  7. I mean if it brings down his ego. Maybe harm is best for someone like Brown. He has let success go to his head which I wouldn't expect from someone like him. I mean he was drafted in the 6th round and went to Central Michigan for crying out loud. I figured someone with that background would stay humble and realize that he got to where he is due to hard work and determination. Instead he turned into a freaking prima Donna. Maybe something needs to happen in his life to bring him back down to earth and make him realize he isn't bigger then any NFL team. Yes physical harm is a bit extreme but hey it could be best for him as a person.
  8. I remember so many fans were drooling over their receiving core thinking how good it's gonna be. But it is so mediocre. Amendola was always injured, Parker sucks, and Sills goes off for one or two great games a year (typically at the beginning) and then goes unnoticed the rest of the season
  9. Feel this thread pops up once a year lol. I doubt we would even be interested
  10. Because he is an ####### and a terrible human being. He has shown this multiple times.
  11. Unless that was just a trade ploy to get them to lower their asking price by making them think we walked. I doubt it but it's always a possibility
  12. Dude is a freaking liar. Shouldn't even be in the NFL anymore
  13. I think it's his age. He'll be 31 when season starts and a team is expected to give up a high draft choice and pony up money. That's a lot of a aging reciever. Especially considering you don't know if he will even show up and not just retire if he doesn't like his destination. He tried to use retirement as leverage on Steelers but feel it is back firing on him and scaring teams off.
  14. Well there are a ton of conflicting reports here. I think this is one of those types that we want a chance to offer Brown a contract or at least talk to him financially before a trade is officially made.
  15. Love it. He seemed like our pest Defensive Tackle last year. And with Kyle retiring, if we didn't retain Philips we would have had a major hole at position. We still have to add depth here but position looks a lot better with Jordan in the fold. What a great addition he was considering when we got him
  16. I do think that Josh Rosen sitting behind Alex Smith would be great for his career.
  17. How can we not? Because Stephen Hill. 6'4 215lbs and he ran a 4.36. Issue was lack of production. He instantly jumped high on draft boards after his combine and proceeded to do nothing. Do I think Metcalf will be Hill? No I think he will be better but I also don't think he will be like Julio. Think he should be drafted 15-20 range. And he does have bust potential. However I can see us falling in love with him. Beane fell in love withJosh Allen and Tremain Edmunds to physical abilities and size. So same could happen with DK. But I'll rather take Hakeem... Not as good as athletic freak but I think will be a safer selection
  18. Darnold should not be ahead of Allen. Josh was much better
  19. Two 3rd round picks seems extreme. Especially since the players they lost aren't really that good.
  20. If you read my post I said that I'd rank him 15th-20th so your sarcasm makes zero sense in this situation. James is not a prolific reciever... He is the old school classic TE that still make solid starters. You can't just look at recieving numbers... But whole body of work. Especially with a player who had to compete for touches with guys like Leveon Bell and Antonio Brown and JuJu Smith Schuster. He is also only 24 and has improved. He increased his yard per catch from 8 to 14 this year which is huge sign of improvement. And a reason to be optimistic that he can still develop into a good receiving TE.
  21. You do realize that as a TE you have to block as well. And with JuJu and Brown both on the Steelers it's easy to see why he didn't get as many receptions.
  22. Everyone saying he is a good special teams player and we need all the help we can get there. But from what I've seen he seems very underwhelming on Special Teams as well. Makes some stupid plays and penalties. With that being said I don't mind bringing him in to camp for a body that's knows our system. But let's not act like he is some Special Teams ace.
  23. Lol at people calling James a decent backup TE. There are 32 starting TEs in the NFL. By saying he is a decent backup is like saying he is not in the top 32 TEs. He is obviously not elite or great. But I'd put Jesse in the 15th-20th range which is definetly a decent starter
