Guy is so overrated. He was crap in college. Every year his completion percentage dropped considerably. His yard an attempt dropped. He never had more than 18 TDs passing. His average passing yards a game dropped considerably from sophmore to junior. He has always just been potential and has gotten worse every single year. Didnt like him coming out of college and still dont. If i was Patriots i would prefer Fromm over Stidham. Oh and Brady backups almost always fail. Mallett, Hoyer, Cassell, Brissett... list goes on and on. Patriots are famous for trading crappy QBs for draft picks just because teams think they are good cause they learned from Brady. Only QB with any success was Jimmy G. And honestly if that defense and running game wasnt so good im not sure he would have success either.

Report: Bills we’re taking Dugger at 54 if he was there
Kmart128 replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even if true im sure they thought Epenesa would have been one of top guys in the 2nd round and go around same time as Gross-Matos. Even Beane said with about 5 or 6 picks left they knew they weren't gonna trade up because some really good players was gonna fall to them. Probably thought they'd have zero shot at Epenesa until like 5 picks before that. -
Jersey Numbers for the new guys

Guessing Butler, Addison or Jefferson took 94 . The numbers for free agents hasnt been revealed yet. In fact theyre not even listed on roster yet. Maybe Ray Ray McCloud switched to 13 after he gave 14 to Diggs -

Doubtful. Even if he was on the board and Bills were really high on him im sure Epenesa was higher on Beane's board. And was a more important need. Wouldnt surprise me if we were targeting Dugger (thinking AJ would be well gone) but with both on the board Epenesa would have been the pick 10 times out of 10 -

Surprised Epenesa isnt using 94. I dont see anyone on roster with that number unless Jefferson or Butler already took it and its not annouced yet. Also so weird to see Davis as 3. Im sure that will change after cuts -
He took the year off to spend with his family... seems like a great man. Wonder how his wife or baby momma is gonna feel about this... And honestly what an idiot. Just wait till her next birthday if you were gonna cheat on your wife

While he is a good player who knows when that leg is gonna give out. He has been doing this for 15 years... I'll pass. -
I could see that but i thought the role was he helped with personel where ever deemed fit. He would advise Beane with all things personnel. I think the senior title is just to show that Gaine is over other advisors on the totem pole and that he is a top guy in charge.

Also I was very shocked to hear that Brian Gaine isnt at the head table. Being a recent GM you think he would.

Super interesting. I loved how Beane described how they go about and get coaches input. That the scouts have a meeting with coaches after they set the board and scouts are just flies on wall in this meeting even if they disagree. And then scouts go back and take a 2nd look at tape and see if they missed something that coaches noticed. Really shows a great system of checks and balances in our organization. That is scout or personnel department miss something then coaches have chance to bring this up.

Honestly I love Knox. He could be the next George Kittle. Unfortunately he got forced into action last year. And he did pretty well considering how raw he was considered. I do however think we needed to sign a stop-gap TE for 1 year to let Knox develop a little more before handing him the reigns. Unfortunately Olsen didnt agree to sign with us and other TE werent willing to accept a 1 year deal

Well know one really knows how well he can punt at this level? Obvisously he did dual duties in college. Every team that at this level has tried him as a big legged kicker and it hasnt worked out. But ive always thought that he should primarily be a punter. His senior year of college he had a pretty good average punt. And he had a 92 yard long... 7th longest in FBS history. Im not sure how often he pinned teams inside 10 yard line and 20 yard line but with his leg its worth a shot. One thing for certain is we arent bringing 3 punters into training camp. There are just not enough reps for that... so not sure why people wanted to add another. I get it. Im frustrated with Borjorquez to and im rooting for Vedvik cause he has some serious potential as a punter with his leg. -

Rd 4, Pick 128: WR Gabriel Davis UCF
Kmart128 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Guessing Bills wanted someone faster that could create more separation. Size is important but our front office learned that it doesnt matter if the receiver is slow. Gabe is a bit faster than AGG. Both are beasts tho -

Dude they just traded up into the 3rd for an Hback... one that I wanted to draft in the 6th. Good player but terrible value. He is a late round draft pick. -

Come on Moss! I think he will give us instant production which you dont see out of 3rd rounders very often. After him there is a major drop off in RBs -

He will be a reach. I wouldnt be surprised to see someone reach for him as a lot of the recievers are off the board but he is a 4th/5th round guy... and im a fan of his. -
RD 2, Pick 54: DE AJ Epenesa, University of Iowa
Kmart128 replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually prefer guys without bursts. Those fast speedy guys can be amazing. But if one of those guys fell to the 2nd then they can have high bust potential. Typically they are one trick ponies... all they know is blowing by weaker competition. Bigger stronger slowler guys have to use technique to get past guys. Get lower leverage to bull rush and use hands and footwork more. And based off the Tape AJ looks super strong obviously but he looks amazing with his hands. Eventually straight speed and explosiveness catches up with a player. But when a player has technique they are safer selections and have longer careers. -
