  1. I'll admit, Tyrod is a bad starting QB. I don't want him here any further. He's a good back up though. If Lamar Jackson is still available by the time we pick, I take him. During games if I was the QB coach, I tell Lamar, "Hey see what Tyrod is doing out there? Don't do that. Look to pass first. Don't ever look to run like Tyrod. Make your reads, keep it simple, and throw to the open man as fast as you can."
  2. Tyrod was benched for Nathan Peterman, NOT EJ. EJ was the first benching. Still looks bad. Tyrod will be gone (unless we make the playoffs again with him under center). Can Tyrod sustain drives? No, only sometimes. Can Tyrod convert third downs with his arm consistently? NOPE. I see a big sample size to show that; 2 full years. We got lucky making the playoffs last season. Yes, it was luck. That's not gonna happen next season. I hope we do make the playoffs again even with Tyrod as QB. But if we don't make the playoffs, Tyrod is gone.
  3. So the benching didn't happen? It happened. I saw him standing there on the sidelines. He didn't play. Like I spelled it out, the reasons behind it doesn't matter. I hope the Bills take Lamar Jackson (if he's still there for us and if they have balls to take a QB). I don't think Cousins want to come to Buffalo. Since we made the playoffs, yes, I have to keep Tyrod. Handing off a playoff team to a rookie QB is a bad look. Bills brass do not know if they can land a proven QB. Therefore, they have to keep Tyrod. I'm fine with it.
  4. That is the second time. The official reason for Tyrod's benching never came out. Injury guarantee (or whatever it was), it looks bad on Tyrod's career anyway. Simply, he still got benched. A top 10 QB will not be benched like that. Russell Wilson, Cam Newton, Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady will not get their butts embarrassed in that manner regardless of the contract terms. We lost that game and it didn't even matter. What did it add up to? A higher draft pick? I can't recall.
  5. This offense truly revolves around the Running Back, McCoy. Not Tyrod Taylor. That's how we put up points. I don't care about TDs because we will get them anyway as long as McCoy is healthy. He opens up the offense options, not Tyrod. I'm 99 percent sure Tyrod is gone in the future. There's an expiration date for everything, including Tyrod. We still got to get a QB who can get the first downs with the passing (Beane and company knows this), and again, Tyrod proved to most of us that he cannot do that consistently. That's why he was benched TWICE. Oh yeah, he will be gone one way or another. The head coach doesn't even trust him. I'm fine with Tyrod QBing for us next season since he's just a bridge QB. Lamar Jackson or whoever will be the next QB here after Tyrod in 2020. If we didn't make the playoffs, Tyrod would have been released.
  6. I'm definitely ok with taking Jackson in the draft if he's still available for us. I understand why Tyrod can't be cut RIGHT NOW. He will be eventually. I hate Tyrod's game, too. So what that Vick and Randall Cunningham can't win the big thing? It's a team game. I just want a QB who can consistently convert 3rd downs with his arm. Tyrod is definitely NOT the guy who can do that. I don't wanna hear about his TD/INT ratio. That's crap.
  7. He's gone, dude. It's damn near unanimous at this point. And yes, I'm tired of hearing of Tyrod's precious TD-INT ratio, which doesn't mean much.
  8. "Never give up." As a die hard long time Bills fan, this is nothing. What happened to the Saints tonight is little compared to what happened to us. Missed FG in our first SB and the Music City Miracle were worse.
  9. No way. His knees are crap. I would have welcomed Sam Bradford if his knees were durable.
  10. And? We lost. Tyrod is supposed to be better at running the ball than Bortles. Tyrod is next to leave Buffalo. That playoff game was horrible. He's just as bad as EJ Manuel for that particular game when it mattered. Tyrod now tries to throw deep (many times) in that game, but he's crap at that. He's inaccurate and reckless.
  11. QB can't win playoff games with running. I disregard this stuff.
  12. He gone. Tyrod's playoff game against Jacksonville is "EJ Manuel" awful. It was horrific.
  13. I was a high school freshman. I'm now 35 starting my own business. And I still look like I'm 25. WWE was still the WWF with Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. Shawn Michaels can still wrestle. I just got a Playstation 2. The Chicago Bulls just finished their Jordan/Pippen dynasty. Shaq and Kobe were in the early beginnings of their run. The economy was good. Napster and Limewire were in their primes. The Simpsons were great. No cell phone. No HD TV. No iPOD.
  14. I'm not a Tyrod fan, but "HELL NO" to Alex Smith. He's not an upgrade at all. I'd draft a new young QB instead.
  15. Props to the Bills and Tyrod Taylor for getting into the playoffs after 19 year playoff drought. I haven't seen the Bills in the playoffs since I was a high school freshman. We needed luck from Cincinnati Bengals to get in though. Oh well. Despite that, I'd still look for his future replacement. I'm not satisfied with Tyrod because he just doesn't throw the ball a lot. I don't care about his lack of interceptions. In the playoffs, Tyrod has to be able to air it out. I'll see this Sunday. Bills Mafia, we're in. Bout damn time.
  16. Benching Flutie was flat out wrong. We were in the playoffs at the time. Terrible move and cost the head coach his job. Rob Johnson sucked. By the way Tyrod is gone when the season is over. Please accept it now.
  17. Not Tyrod. He's gone after this season is over. Rookie Peterson looks horrible as hell.
  18. Benching Flutie was flat out wrong. Benching Tyrod is fine. Tyrod is benched twice in Buffalo now. It's over. It's Peterman's spot until he gets injured.
  19. BS. This didn't even enter my brain. This has absolutely nothing to do with race, liberalism, c'mon cut that crap out. Whoever said this about race, did it for ratings and sensationalism. Tyrod had 3 years here. That's plenty of time to show what's up. He didn't do anything. I wanted him gone after his first year here just because his style of play doesn't work in the NFL. Tyrod runs too much and he's too CONSERVATIVE with throwing the ball. He barely throws the ball. I knew. I hate conservative players. Most of you guys didn't back at the old message board. JMS2009, where you at? Your guy is officially finished here in Buffalo. I have no problem with you defending him, but you took it to another level making personal attacks. It's over. You lost.
  20. Holy crap. Finally. You're no longer in DENIAL about Tyrod Taylor. Took you 2.5 years. JM2009, back on BBMB, was all up on Tyrod's jock defending in EVERY.SINGLE.POST. Dude, what made you change? Why were you so adamant about Tyrod being a star QB with his low interception rating? Puahahahha. Wow. What a 180 turn by you. I wanted Tyrod gone 2 years ago though. Tyrod WILL be gone from Buffalo. He's not McDermott's guy and it's just a matter of time right now.
  21. ESPN is fine. They had to change. And yes, people get old. People retire like Chris Berman.
  22. This is the problem with this type of thinking. Here, in Buffalo, the fan base believes that EVERY year that it's bad QB class, which leads us to drafting only 5 quarterbacks since Doug Flutie left. And we messed up on all of them. I don't think it even matters because Our past GMs and scouts sucked. Then Atlanta gets Matt Ryan. Dallas gets Dak Prescott. Seattle takes Russell Wilson. The Raiders get Carr. So this is our reasoning? That Tyrod is good enough and every QB class is bad and we have other holes to fill on the roster? Wow. I heard that every single year after Flutie left. That leaves QB as an afterthought. That's stupid. That's awful thinking. I'm already thinking that we draft wide receiver Mike Williams at number 10. I have no problem taking Williams at 10 because our receiving corp is terrible. Yet still, gotta draft a QB somewhere. By the way, I don't have problems if we started Cardale Jones if he beats Tyrod in training camp and preseason.
  23. Why do you care so passionately about Tyrod? I mean, if he played anything like Cam Newton or Matt Ryan, then I would back Tyrod, too. But Tyrod doesn't play as great as either of those dudes. Get ready, Whaley will draft a QB this year at number 10.
  24. There is no FASTEST way. That's the reality. It's clear cut at this point for me. I think we're going to miss the playoffs again (even when you do not want to hear that) because we have another unproven coaching staff and Tyrod remains an unproven QB. 1billsfan laid out the reasons. The defense sucks even more right now with the losses. Stop wishing on Richard Sherman. He's old at this point. The only thing he brings is winning experience, but that's not enough. We need production.
  25. I'd do it. Kirk Cousins is a franchise QB while Tyrod is not.
