  1. I could be mistaken, but I think the initial 53 can only have up to 2 IR designated to return players
  2. Would think he'd still have preseason game three to play before the dream would die... Hopefully not an injury!
  3. If it goes backwards it can't be an incomplete pass, it's a fumble every time. The 'incomplete pass' stems from the arm/ball moving forward when the ball is 'thrown'
  4. I've seen this several times in the past few years, but asking about a situation like Dewayne Carter's fumble recovery for a touchdown that was overturned yesterday. First of all, I thought the tuck rule had been eliminated and it seemed on the replays that the quarterback had decided against throwing the ball and was trying to pull the ball back to his body. Is this not what the tuck rule was and should have resulted in a fumble? Second part of the question, if the tuck rule does not apply and the officials can go back and call it an incomplete pass, I've never seen them in this situation assess an intentional grounding penalty. It seems to me in these situations where a fumble is turned into an incomplete pass that there is almost never a receiver in the area. Are they not allowed to assess a penalty retroactively? Or is there some other reason why this isn't a penalty?
  5. I get it. Sky is not falling, but would like to see him look like he belongs at least. Week one can't get here fast enough
  6. Our Jordan Phillips? Or is that a rookie?
  7. It felt to me like he was celebrating with the crowd, not taunting the opponent. But definitely a judgement call you don't want to give the refs
  8. I think they mistakenly doubled it
  9. Because of the stuffed buffalo....?
  10. Davis and Davis, we got our own law firm
  11. Wait! Did we just go through a practice day with no new injuries!?
  12. Maybe. I think they're a level above paper tiger. To me the Broncos were a paper tiger last year. Tua/Bills defense are capable of beating good teams, but it's the one big, bad Boogeyman that always gets them Probably depends on one's exact definition of paper tiger
  13. Tua is like the Bills defense... top 10 in stats but can't get it done against the big rival (Bills for Tua; playoff Chiefs for Bills defense)
  14. They stole our Araiza!! (I know we cut him)
  15. I hear your logic, but we'll just have to agree to disagree. The only position I might take a swing like that for is QB.
  16. Having 3 players, 1st round picks, of much higher perceived talent and ceiling (than late round up picks which work out much less frequently on average) on cost controlled contracts for a few years is what I'm referring to.
  17. Way too much compensation when you also factor the salary he will command. You create so many future cap problems by not being able to bring young affordable talent into the pipeline
  18. Experimental procedure, using the spleen to replace an ACL. Shaves a lot of time off the recovery
  19. Not before his "I was going for a walk and noticed there's something big being built near the stadium. Could it be a NEW stadium!?" thread
  20. That wasn't Bishop, it was Kincaid
