I'm curious how these Canadian cities compare if anyone's been to both. Obviously French is spoken in Montreal. I've never been to Toronoto. The only things I've read a little about it were fan encounters with The Toronto Series. It obviously didn't compare to the Ralph.
The Eagles are the only team you mentioned I can tolerate. I mean following the Giants and Cowboys, really?
Even if this season bottoms out I mean some teams I just could never
Exactly. This years obviously been a disappointment but this was the first time I really shook my head. It's like this feeling that ownership doesn't care about winning.
I liked Bruce as well. Last year he obviously struggled but this year he seemed to get back on track. Plus he took Conforto under his wing. I think there's something to be said for those type of players, especially nowadays where everyone looks out for themselves.
Joe Benigno brought this up on his show the other day. Do you ever feel there's guys ownership doesn't like for reasons not related to baseball that impacts their decisions. Examples: Murphy and Turner

Well Doug certainly seems much more at ease then he ever was here. I do admit though to be very interested how the Jags play out.
Next year I just read Creed 2 is scheduled to come out with Ivan Drago to have a part in it. Plus a YouTube series about the Kobra Kai with Ralph Macchio & William Zabka.
The Kobra Kai never die.
The only thing I disagree slightly with you guys on is Sandy. I'm not really sold on him.
I'm just not a big Moneyball fan and find Billy Beane to be overrated. Plus most of these pitchers (despite the injuries) were discovered by Minaya. Then there's the whole him always having it out for Backman.
But like you say his hands can be tied by the Wilpons.
That the McDermott era plays out like the Jauron era. Ultimately nothing better than a 7-9 coach for several years while we're still sold on reasons for hope instead of just rebuilding.
Yeah unfortunately under this ownership I don't see it happening. When Doubleday left that really hurt things imo, after all he was the one who pushed for Piazza.
I mean unless they're still reeling from Madoff?
Yeah wish Wally would be the next manager. The Mets powers that be though would never let that happen though. They'd never want a guy who doesn't play it safe.
That being said, Terry's overall stay there wasn't bad. I mean its got to count for something he's managed the most games in Mets history
Rick James, D Train, Teena Marie, The Whispers, Curtis Mayfield, Ohio Players, and Average White Band among others. Todays music can't light a candle to this stuff
I used to lurk on Bills fan sites for years before I actually commented on one. The Dolphins game last year was what made me want to vent somewhere. Guess it gets easier, idk what I'm saying sometimes or posting stuff in the wrong sections
