  1. I don't know how much JG actually learned with the Patriots or how good he really is. Come on we know Brady is an alpha male who doesn't care about anyone else. Do you think for a second he actually took this kid under his wings?
  2. Re-earthing this thread tonight the Tampa & Oakland wins were nice even if the Tampa one had some agita. But this is what I was getting at initially, this Jets game is almost all but a must win if they consider themselves a playoff team. No doubt it won't come easy, but it's winning/losing games like this that separate us from being a 7-9 win team versus a playoff one
  3. True but in 2012 he struggled as well assuming there was enough time for his ribs to heel
  4. Agree this team seems a little more solid than 2011 but still not totally convinced yet were a playoff squad. The week 9 Jets game that year I place as the 2nd worst Bills game I watched since the McKelvin fumble. On a funny note does anyone remember that play that day where Florence made Mark Sanchez flinch?
  5. First, awesome game and team win. This team looks solid and has far exceeded my expectations at this point this year. I can't help but think of the last time we started out 5-2 back in 2011. Ironically that year too they played the Jets in Week 9, hopefully this year will produce a much better result! If you recall that game was at The Ralph where the fans tried to have a White Out. It was an epic disaster that day, we got smashed. But what went wrong that year? They just got exposed as being not that deep? Freddie was also out I believe the second half of the year and teams knew how to play against Gailey and Fitz's game plan more I think. I'd imagine this team has more depth.
  6. There were a number of classes I dropped due to fear of failing out. The website Rate My Professors had just started when I was in college. My favorite review on it was regarding a Mr. P a real nightmare of a professor I had. The review stated the devil took Mr. P's class and dropped it because he thought Mr. P was more evil. Lol I was always sort of a number nerd till I got to college. Failed upper level Calc. classes, Game Theory, Theory of Probability, and something else. Just couldn't hack that stuff
  7. That's not too smart! But this reminded me of a former manager who used to say she'd start her car in the morning and let it warm up while she was inside. When I asked her aren't you afraid someone will drive off with it, she told me if someone was gonna do that this neighborhood isn't worth living in anymore.
  8. Thoughts and prayers go out to Logan and his family. That's awful
  9. Or just not cut out for it
  10. That's great! Yeah if there's one good thing that came from Rex is he gave Richie another chance. As far as the whole bullying scandal, I hate bullying and don't care for ball busting. With that said I think Bernie Kosar said it best, any other profession in the world Martin would have his full sympathy. Is it any wonder anymore Martin isn't in the NFL since?
  11. I remember it was around this time of year he passed away but it's just been six years. My phone won't let me embed it but this to me shows the type of person he was https://youtu.be/n8H3nGgcmVw
  12. Failed a couple in college. I remember one test I bombed this teacher gave me this look of a phrase often heard here: You're an idiot!
  13. Happy Birthday too a good dude!
  14. But this is only the 2nd time they've met here in the regular season. The first being back in 2009. I know they are an NFC team but how's that possible? They've been around since 1976.
  15. Miley Cyrus Party in the USA Grandmaster Flash The Message (for bad days lol)
  16. One of my favorite games of the drought was the last time we played them here in 2011. Fitz threw the winning TD on 4th down with almost no time left. I think it's actually a fair line. The game makes me anxious for sure but we've seen numerous teams travel from across the country to play here and come up flat.
  17. Welcome Mickey!
  18. Be honest how many here thought we were in real trouble? Even tying it at 27-27 I was nervous Tampa was gonna milk the clock at get a field goal. Years of seeing bad results, has always made me skeptical. Still the Atlanta game and today's are gradually changing that in me a little. Still a ways to go but glad about today. Go Bills!
  19. I hope you find the comments here useful and I'm glad you reached out. It's nothing to be ashamed of, I spent years being ashamed of what I was going through anxiety and depression wise and didn't tell anyone. Don't make the same mistake as me
  20. Yep. Now that I think about it that game I mentioned in 2014 would have had a totally different outcome I believe if you know who was starting.
  21. In order to be a playoff team. All three games are very winnable and would make a statement. In prior years we've always came up short in what I'd consider statement games: 2014 Week 3 loss versus San Diego. Had a chance to go 3-0 but lost against a team they could've beat. 2015 Week 12 against Kansas City. They were 5-5 and I believe KC had the same record at that point? Anyway would have said something to beat a team on the road competing for the playoffs too. 2016 Week 7 against Miami. Would have been 5-2 if we won and would've been tied with the Pats at the time for first place. So yes we lost all these games. Playoff teams don't lose these games. Playoff teams will win the next three before facing Miami and New England twice. This is the difference between a 7 to 9 win team versus a playoff team
  22. Maybe him and Coughlin make a pitch for Eli?
  23. Maybe it's because once he starts he feels he has nothing to lose but when he gets named the starter he clams up. I seem to remember here after a while the biggest complaint on him and Gailey was they never threw and spread the ball down field after a while. It's was like Trent Edwards 2.0
  24. Yep 100% It's crazy though since he left us wherever he gets signed, it's as a backup but somehow he always winds up as the starter! The Titans, Texans, Jets, and now Bucs
